What?? I thought I was dying. I called her office for an earlier appointment and the clerk informed me that Dr Hanna could not see me until December. Luckily, my PCD referred me to another cardiologist who is going to complete the appropriate testing and follow-up care.

The mammogram area had little extra touches that made me feel a bit more comfortable. A dressing room to get changed, a large bathroom, a nice waiting area. It had a feminine touch. Maddie was absolutely amazing. She walked me through the entire process, explained what she'd be doing and why, the next steps for the visit, and just truly took the time to make sure I felt comfortable. That extra detail really goes a long way! The receptionist scheduled my appointment to coincide with the doctor's in-office day. I waited just a few minutes and he was able to review my images. In my opinion, that's crazy! I've never heard of such a thing.. have you?.. being judged and penalized for seeing a new doctor? She felt is was questionable, removed it and sent it to the pathologist. Indeed it was cancerous. I see Dr. Devaro twice a year for skin checks. She has removed many cancerous moles over the years and I feel I'm in good hands. Her whole team is friendly, efficient and always seem to enjoy their job. I appreciate it that Dr. DeVaro works in Rincon on Tuesdays which makes my appointments convenient to home.

When I walked in, I had to wait about 15-minutes to let the people who had already been seen checkout and then allow the ones before me to go to the counter. When I went to the counter, the girl whispered if I was there for a Covid test, being mindful that I might not want people around me knowing my business -- pure class on her part. Once I confirmed, she had Sarah Holton assist me. Sarah was very kind, understanding, professional, and straightforward. She gave me options with pricing as they don't take insurance and made sure I was OK with everything before moving forward. You could tell she genuinely cares about her patients, and although she deals with many sick people a day hasn't lost her compassion. Once the Doctor arrived, whose name escaped me, but she was a lovely sweet petite red-headed woman, who was as equally kind, gentle, and compassionate as Sarah, she was able to put me on a Covid recovery plan. Urgent Care, unlike many other clinics, is in the healing business and prescribes what is needed for you to heal, not what is recommended by big Pharma to make a profit. I am so grateful I found them. They are worth every penny you spend out of pocket. They gave me the paperwork to get reimbursement from my insurance company, so that's a bonus. Also, when I told Sarah about the experience I had at the historic Savannah location, she apologized on behalf of the company and reported the incident to her management. She asked me if I wanted various shots and tests but I really am not sure because well, I'm not a medical professional. 6-19-24 Had an…read moreappointment at this office for my annual body check. First time here as I am new to the area and my primary doctor referred me here. After a checking they noticed a something suspicious on my back. Oddly enough it was located next to where I had a melanoma removed 30 years ago. The biopsy came back that I have melanoma again but they caught it thankfully in its early stages. They followed up with an appointment to remove a larger area so that they got it all. That will take place end of the month at their Hilton Head location. Next they scheduled appointments every three months for the next year to do checks on my body. I think they have done an excellent job catching it so soon and their plan to get ahead of it is wonderful. Thankful that they are very detailed and got it early.
