I requested a copy of receipt payment for a BLS class I did a couple months ago . When I requested this copy I spoke with Elizabeth who confirmed the total amount I had pay them ! BUT when got the copy it wasn't for the total amount I had paid . I asked why wasn't the complete amount reflecting on receipt which was hand written by them by the way ! . I was told that the credit card fees couldn't be showing on the receipt . What kind of business is this ? That won't show the total amount you paid them ! BS place ! It was my first time here and last ! There are better places in the valley to get these classes done . read more

I've attended several and this one is direct, straight to the point and you actually learn life advice that can actually save someone's life...not just regurgitated, generic info. I had a great experience I was a student here from the staff to the teachers to clinicals everything was a good experience. They offer so many classes other than cna and will help you with job placements also. They are bilingual Spanish and English teachers classes might be up to 30 students and every classmate is also amazing. I Deff recommend this to anyone any age and it was also affordable they work with u and u can even pay $100 every Monday until ur done for state board. !!! BE CAREFUL with this school. My class was supposed have an exam date set and ready a week after our in class testing and training were done. If that was the case me and the students in my class would've already taken the state board and found employment as an NA DONT PAY ANYTHING exam related until you have an official date scheduled. This school made me lose money by sending out a check that wasn't accepted and there was already writing on the check, it's extremely difficult to find anyone to take it and get your money back. Exams kept getting pushed back!! the 12th went from the 19th to "Oh the website is down" fast forward 2 months none of the students from my class STILL haven't taken the exams because when something is done through this location something "happens". As a student I'm extremely disappointed in my experience and still can't make any sense of what's going on when the student group before mine was able to schedule their state board no problem read more

The staff are transparent and honest: Anahi, Betty, and Elizabeth all were patient and available for whatever the students needed during enrollment as well as the academic term. Their kindness and honesty helped convince me to trust in St. Jude and enroll. Three months later, they helped me graduate, too. Josie was our instructor and she was perfect- she uniquely assisted each student and cares about what she teaches. Her passion and energy brightened the room for every hour she was teaching, and she was earnest and available outside of class for every need. On my journey of becoming a RN, being a CNA is my second certificate (after an EMT cert) and this class was really fun! I attended the 5 week course M-F 8am-3pm. This is one of the only schools that offer in 5 weeks, and the class really helped me. It should be noted that classes are bilingual in English and Spanish, and if you don't know Spanish it can get a little boring. The communication was great otherwise. although in a bit of a sketchy plaza IMO, the inside was pretty new with AC. traffic is horrible around the area, but there are plenty of parking spots if you arrive early! I would definitely recommend this class since it helped me get my CNA certificate in the smallest time possible. I would only improve on getting better chairs since they are pretty uncomfy for long periods of time, and you have to get most of the info from a phone cal/in person visit. The training dummies could also be newer, and I wish we had a little more time with skills. Good luck prospective students!! read more

I was hesitant about applying because I was uncertain about next steps, but Andrea and Anahi were very informative with the program and what the school offers. They offer a range of program schedules that are flexible (5 weeks, M-F 8am-3:30pm, 13 weeks, Sat/Sun 4pm-8pm, etc.). After 5 weeks, I can safely say that I learned a lot from Miss Mara during the theory class and our clinicals in Sherman Oaks. 10/10 would recommend this program to those entering the healthcare field or would like to explore new possibilities. read more

Anahí made the entire program fairly easy. Very cheap and convenient method into going to HHA, RNA, CNA et cetera, licensing; in comparison to other expensive programs. The costs are cut to be very affordable. I had the 8AM-3PM class, that was very much preferred. It feels like the classes go fast but in reality it's because your absorbing all of the information. It's very hands on and they have access to their own skills lab which is helpful. The admissions reps are great and very hardworking and the professor (Mara) of our class gave us all the information plus her entail in the CNA/medical field. I took the 5 week CNA class with Ms. Mara and it was fast paced but she made sure the material was engraved into our head! I'd also like to mention how thankful Elizabeth and Anahi were. Elizabeth was the financial advisor, she always made sure my payments were on time/on track. Anahi walked me through the enrollment of the program and she made it very easy. They have another instructor that I worked with a couple of days while Ms. Mara was absent, (she was the substitute)! Different teaching style than Ms. Mara but still a great instructor. The person answering the phone cannot or is not allowed to answer SIMPLE questions about the program. Like, how much does the CNA program cost. Apparently, that question can only be answered by their "program specialist'. And you need to make an appointment to get any answer. if you're an educated shopper, know you have options and don't deal with any institution. They cannot give you information over the phone. The purpose for not wanting to give you information over the phone. It's to avoid being able to document that they could potentially give you wrong info . In addition, I don't see where the department of health has approved of this program on their website. Maybe I'm wrong. They act like used car sales people lol. Update! imagine a "busy" school administrator that boast over 10k grads leaving who's running the organization running over to yelp to respond with a lengthy monologue. Trust your service if it's truly a good service. Try not to be so triggered when people voice their opinions on the bootleg service they got. hahahahah. Tag you're it 1/5 update.
