I ran into a staff member in the doorway who was really nice. Her name began with a G & was a unique name. She was very nice & helpful when I had some questions for her. I told her why I was there & what I was looking for. She told me they had lots of books & she was right! Out of all their books I only found one by Colleen Hoover & unfortunately it was one that I have already read. I did end up buying more books then I needed that sounded interesting by authors I haven't read before except one book that I have. I didn't really need any more books as I have enough @ home waiting to be read but when they have double 10% discount for First Responders on Wednesday & the tag color of the day it's hard not to buy them especially when their book prices are reasonable. I also found this nice, white cabinet for $12.99 that looks like it belonged to a little girl from the sticker that was on there. I can tell it was probably a lot more money when the owner bought it brand new. It does need some cleaning but nothing a wet cloth & soap/disinfectant spray can't fix. The only issue I had was once I left the store I went to go to their donation drop off to drop off a bag of donations & their drive up was a mess. It had a lot of stuff to each side & as I slowly was pulling in an employee told me to stop with a hand gesture & had an ugly look on his face. Like what a jerk so I backed up & went to a different GW location to drop off my donations. Who ever he was needs to not be so rude.

The warehouse is a little smaller than their old location, but they still have a great selection. You can shop online and call ahead if you want them to hold an item for you. Prices are reasonable and they have some really nice wall art. Delivery is usually $80, but it's worth checking with them since it depends on your address. One thing I like is that if you see something you want but are not in a hurry, check back in about 30 days because it will be discounted. The sticker on each item shows the date it arrived. They carry a wide variety of brands and home decor, and the owner and staff are very friendly. There was no pressure while shopping.

I came here exclusively to try to find some flatware, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had some cool pieces. Their prices are thrift store prices probably cheaper than Savers or Goodwill, plus they were giving a small discount for new customers that day. Bigger…read morethan the old one The ONLY reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the heat factor, its super warm inside, we were in there for about 10 mins and ready to go home but we stayed and dealt with the heat to find some amazing goodies include a Ferris wheel that lights up and spins and plays music. Most of the vendors work with you on price, just ask, we got the Ferris wheel from $175 to $150. They also have a showroom now, furniture and such as part of the business but we didn't go in there. Customer service at Goodwill of Southern Nevada is nonexistent so don't expect any help with…read moreanything. I've made purchases through various Goodwill locations and have never had an issue. I've lived in CA for 10 years but somehow Goodwill of Southern Nevada found my address in MA from 10 years ago and shipped it there!!! I received a package from another goodwill location 3 weeks prior to this supposed deliver and it came to CA. I also had another package coming so I immediately called them and li and behold they had my CA address! The man at Soutjern Nevada said tough luck basically when I spoke to them. I then emailed a higher up, they opened a ticket and finally got back to me and said "sorry have a nice day". I only wanted them to retrieve the package and nothing more. I heard crickets. I've initiated a chargeback AVOID GOODWILL OF SOUTHERN NEVADA AT ALL COSTS They should remove the name Goodwill since they obvious have none. They'll take your money and then who cares what happens after that. Just a horrible company and I will never donate or buy from them again.
