You'll be digging through a lot of stuff that isn't exactly clean. This place is basically where all the unsorted items go. They dump everything into large bins, and shoppers line up waiting for new bins to be rolled out. When that happens, it's pure chaos -- people rush in like it's Black Friday. One woman even started pushing me, and I had to push back multiple times. Some people can be really rude and aggressive. If you enjoy hunting for treasures in the middle of total disorder, this might be your thing. But if you prefer a structured, organized thrift store, you'll probably find this overwhelming. You pay by weight, not by item -- everything gets weighed at the end, and I think it's around 50¢ per pound. I used to frequent the bins near Sacramento and always really enjoyed the experience. I was happy to learn that there was a location in LV. I arrived and expected the usual bins experience, but the process in LV works differently than in Sacramento. I walked in and started looking through a bin and a man in the back of the store started yelling at me. I was confused, because once again, I have been to bins stores many times. The clothes were slightly wet and smelly and I have to recommend gloves for anyone going to this location. In general, gloves and a mask are a good idea for bins locations, but I found that in Sacramento the clothing didn't seem nearly as dirty as this location. The location itself is probably 1/5 of the size of the eastern Sacramento bins location. It was very crowded with people bumping each other and desperate to dig through the bins. I had seen desperation in Sacramento as well, but only on the new bins coming out. After a few seconds a worker came over and told me that I should have asked how the bins worked instead of simply going into the bin. This same worker had been standing by the door when I walked in. I wasn't expecting rules to differ from location to location, so I didn't assume asking about rules would be necessary. It was an unpleasant experience with poor customer service and I'm sad I won't be able to enjoy the bins when in LV. read more

I enjoy shopping here because you never know what you'll find. Everything is by the pound and they have a large scale that they use to weigh your items. Most of the employees are nice. This place gets crowded and some people are rude and will literally rip things out of your hand. They have a large selection of books for anyone who loves books. read more

Well this was an experience! After watching countless YouTube videos with resellers walking away with amazing pieces I had to check it out. I didn't walk away with a treasure. One reason is when they bring out the new bins, a rotation they call it, they line up the bins and make the shoppers stand back until the entire row of bins is in position. There is a lot of yelling to keep the shoppers back. I'm quite sure this method is in place for the employees safety. When it's go time the shoppers run up and start grabbing. This will never be me, I'm just not aggressive. I looked through the bins that the aggressive shoppers were through with. Never the less I got some nice T-shirts, a couple of hoodies and an adorable baby dress and coat ensemble. I didn't get any woman's wear that was all grabbed by the serious shoppers. I have washed the T-shirts and hoodies so they are ready for donation to the mission. I hope the men appreciate the expensive scented laundry beads I used. When you live on the street you deserve a little kindness. Unfortunately I don't know a baby so I put the coat and dress in my Poshmark closet, Mayfair 32, and I hope it will get to a baby girl for Easter. I ended up with 18 items for $22 I will definitely do it again, next time I will arrive at 8am, a tip I got from an employee. BTW EVERY employee was sweet, quick with a smile, sometimes laughter and help. Good on you Goodwill. read more

Definitely a treasure hunt. Read the reviews before coming in and got a ride share instead of taking 2 buses. Just looks like an odd place for me to catch a bus. I go in after 10 and people are in bins while a handful are standing in front of the store. I just went in for some heels which I didn't see in my size. There were some decent deals like Ugg boots but nothing I could wear. This lady told me the resellers rush to get stuff when they say go. I guess it's every half an hour they bring out new stuff and people rush to get it. I only stayed an hour and filled the bag that I bought. Some people wore gloves. Not sure if they supply them. I brought my own. Wound up filling up my bag since I paid to get there may as well not leave empty handed. People are filling up shopping carts. This guy in front of me had about 6 pairs of jeans and a handful of sweatshirts and came out to $36. I got 7 pieces which came out to $11.34. Listening to people, there seemed to be regulars and I could see why. I've been coming to Vegas for years and just learned about this place. I'll definitely be back. Quality wasn't bad if you dig. Honestly i really like this goodwill it has good stuff and its cheap but there is several problems like people stealing from ur cart, it's also really crowded and the other shoppers are rude they push you just to get clothes so they can resell it on there little store for 4 times they payer for. Goodwill Clearance stores aren't around often. When I passed by this location I had to stop by. Items are typically priced by weight with some specific items priced individually. There are bins you go through and it' up to you on how into the search of goods you want to be. I was a little intimidated because when I arrived there were people standing waiting for the fresh batch of bins to be brought out. Once it was out it was a stampede. People were going at it and rummaging through everything. I walked away with a few items. read more

This place used to be a solid five. Perhaps it's simply gone down in desirability as the items purchased by Americans have gone down in quality-- but bad attitudes and a sense that many employees think that the job is beneath them make it unpleasant for most other than hardened pickers. So happy I stopped in! Tried visiting about 5 Goodwill Stores and I should've just came here. The stores were junk, this Goodwill had way more to offer. Even if you're not one of those running to the new bins they just rolled out, you can still score some good finds. I'm glad it's pretty clean considering it's Goodwill. Everything is pretty organized and at least the day I went, everyone was behaved. It was crazy to see how many pallets on top of pallets on top of pallets are stored in the warehouse just waiting to be brought out. Definitely stop in here! This goodwill is different from the traditional goodwills across the country. It's basically a large warehouse where goodwill bins are shipped in and brought into a large room where people can pick through and find treasures. About every 20 -25 minutes new bins are brought in and you must wait behind the yellow line with all the other eager resellers and shoppers. Once they allow you past they yellow line everybody goes crazy to get to the bins. Gloves and masks are HIGHLY recommended. There are sharp objects and many different liquids that are throughout. Once you have all your items in your cart and ready to leave, you head up to the cashier where you pay by the pound for all of your items. Overall a cool place to find some cool stuff. read more

This is the place to check out if you're looking for cheap items & don't mind digging through mountains of other items to find your treasures. My first time experience went well although I didn't know you had to wait for them to finish setting up a section of new carts before you can start liking through them. Sorry I missed the memo! Clearly a duh moment, but they would benefit from having clear signage about this. I just don't understand why breakables aren't separated. They do this at other Goodwill Outlets. The customers here think that they own the place. Actually heard some say, "Why are all these people here- they're getting in the way." Really? I have been pushed, had my cart stolen twice, my cart moved, had a nasty woman yell at me because I was walking too slow, had a guy stand next to me and grab things OUT OF MY HAND. I have a business too- knock it off. The workers try to curb the behavior but some of these people weren't raised right, smell like weed, are rude and don't care if they knock over a Grandma. it says it's on Valley View Drive but actually it's behind a gas station is in kind of hard to find. I found a few pairs of pants and some sandals. They shouldn't bring the ones out that are only one shoe; that's ridiculous. This is the last call for these items - a guy told me they go in the dumpster after that. read more

I love love love this location for the Goodwill bins. The workers here are really nice, the facility is kept clean despite the high volume, and the items I keep finding here are top notch ! Wow!! This location is crazy yet cool.. o went there at 11am on a Sunday. People have to line up and scramble to the merchandise. I saw a women grab a right Royal blue Jordan 1s High.. hopefully she can eventually get the other one. I think most people resell these things because some just got random things. I liked the trill of looking around for things you may like at first sight. You can definitely get a big W in this setting.. yet you may get many things you don't need. I will definitely be back! However a lot of people who have been coming here over the years are upset that they no longer find the goods they used to. There are workers literally checking and taking out the goods before pushing out the carts. We are literally spending most of our time digging trying to find the good stuff they should consider that! This place is amazing and so fun. They have giant bins you dig in and can find treasure. You pay by the pound so it's super cheap. This is a place to go and stay a while to search. I will say that a lot of people don't care about others and will even push you out of the way. I usually try to stay away from others and find spots that are more empty. Even though I do this I have found a ton of cool stuff. People also get very close. There will be people trying to grab stuff right at the spot you're at. I'm not sure why people can't wait but it's something that happened. I left with 3 giant full bags and I found one rare item that is actually worth more than the 3 bags I bought. It's so fun to find these treasures and you just never know what you will get. read more

My first time here. It's set up where half the room is getting set up with new bins and the other half is getting picked through by the crowd. You're not "allowed" to pick through the new bins until it's completely set up when the line of young people are chomping at the bit to start shoveling through the "new" piles of clothing. I get the impression there are a lot of people looking to resale these items and do this for a living. I came here with my teenage niece who loves thrifting. She loved it and definitely will want to come back each visit to Vegas. Don't expect nice looking things to buy. You definitely need an eye for a Diamond in the rough. The "merchandise" looks like you sifting through piles of junk but if you have and eye, you probably can find something you need or may want to collect/sell. read more

I've been here twice in 3wks, and I am addicted to this place. I've never seen anything like it. I will say this kind of experience isn't for everyone though. PEOPLE ARE RUTHLESS HERE. Luckily the ones I've encountered for the most part have been really kind. There was one worker who was giving me a hard time cause I didn't know certain bins were "closed" meaning you can't go through them anymore. But what you do is just rummage through everything. This workers work fast and great. The biggest problem with this goodwill is many of the customers are everyday and all day customers and they end up doing what they want. They do not stay behind the yellow lines when waiting for the employees to set up. The workers have to constantly yell at them and yet they still take advantage while the customers who listen end up last. read more
