We went to St. Louis Bar & Grill for the first time today for our go out Friday lunch. I've never been to any of the St. Louis establishments before. It was recommended by my co-worker who happens to love their fry dip. We arrived just shortly after lunch and were seated rather quickly. I had ordered the pulled pork sandwich lunch special for 8.99 which includes onion straws, cole slaw and my choice of Memphis or Mississippi honey sauce. I went with Memphis and I also added a half pound of hot wings which you can add on for an additional 5.99. The fries were very good. I loved the cut which were like steak fries but also krinkle at the same time. I thought the wings were pretty good they seemed to be cooked well and the sauce was hot the way I liked them. The service was relatively quick and friendly. Everybody was happy with their meal and we will return again.

The wings were awful. Overcooked and dark. The oil needs to be changed in that place. Won't go back.

The food was tasty although my bun on my burger was completely burned on the inside. I asked for a new bun and they brought another about 5 minutes later. The portions are small I would have to say. For an 18$ GT burger it was the size of a double junior burger at McDonald's. The fries were tasty and the service was good but I don't find it to be great value for what you are paying. Games are all fairly new except for the single pool table with plastic pool Cues. Maybe much better games than Dave and Busters but the games don't last more than one or two minutes. It was nice to experience but left a lot to be desired. Hopefully the good portions and the games times will improve since they are fairly new.

We were served rotten food -- yes, actual spoiled food -- and when we pointed it out, the staff looked annoyed, not apologetic. We waited forever, only to be brought the wrong meals, and when we brought it up, they acted like we were the problem. The service? Terrible. Disorganized, inattentive, and borderline rude. And if you think management might care -- think again. The manager was an absolute jerk, condescending and dismissive, and made the whole experience even worse. It's clear this place is run with zero respect for customers. Wouldn't recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Save your time, money, and appetite -- literally anywhere else is better.

This was an old location for a Shoeless Joe's http://www.yelp.ca/biz/shoeless-joes-burlington?hrid=_S4a1higgLdpVAcbFK2paQ hopefully the issues which the previous restaurant haven't translated to this new bar/restaurant. Frank and Teresa's Anchor Bar is directly related to the original "Anchor Bar" located across the border in Buffalo NY. The Anchor Bar in Buffalo is credited as the birthplace of "Buffalo Wings" (a buttery hot style of chicken wing preparation) for those who haven't tried one before. I have never been to the original location, but knowing people who have eaten there the reviews are "average". I would say my reviews are somewhat weighted towards verified reviews by other Yelpers, but I am always one to give a location a try. I was pleasantly surprised at this new location. I sat at the bar and I was greeted by a server who I would like to say was training, but she was friendly enough. Asking for a drink order, I saw they had a good selection of drafts on tap. Goose Island Honkers Ale is my new favorite beer of the month and they had that on tap along with the IPA ($7.95) The beer was cold and crisp. I asked for some recommendations for my lunch and I was helped by another bartender/server who was pretty knowledgeable about the concept and the menu. She highly suggested the wings (that was a given) and some other choices including some interesting burgers. Being that I am NOT a wing person, I decided to go against my usual food choices and opt to try out these "famous" wings. I ordered the Wing Dinner ($15.99) which comes with fries, coleslaw and 1 lb of wings (8pcs) and your choice of sauce (maple honey garlic). After taking my order I looked around at the restaurant and the layout was pretty much the same as the previous restaurant that was here. Signed pictures of famous people, bottles of wing sauce, large screen televisions are throughout the restaurant. Everything looked clean and new (the location just opened on the Friday before my visit) The food arrived in a good time and it looked great. The wings were a great size and it was divided evenly between flats and drums. In my limited wing experience, I have tried a battered/breaded type of wing and one that are floured. These wings are the floured style of coating, which leaves a nice crisp skin on the wing (I personally like breaded). Perfectly cooked and pretty meaty! The sauce was alright, but I think if I was to order wings again I would try the tangy sauces instead of the sweet. The coleslaw was freshly made and it was a creamy style not vinegary. I personally loved the french fries that came as a side. Skin on potatoes, looked like they might have been fresh cut and the spice that was on top of it was excellent. All in all it was a good lunch, good service, nice location, prompt service food was good. Considering that this location has been only open for a week, you really can't ask for much more. 4 stars

Let's skip the border wait, go for a great bike ride in Bronte Park and then have wings at the Burlington Anchor Bar! Nice sports bar with seating inside, bar, booth, or table. Our booth had its own TV.... bonus! Ordered the double pound of medium wings, onion rings, and and house salad because it's the healthy part of the meal. Rings were crispy and good as was the salad. The wings? They were good too. Decent sized wings, not too scrawny and not hormone mega sized either. And you save the drive to Buffalo! Service was friendly and absolutely no complaints there.

The shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling and sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf were really good. They didn't have miso soup but the tom yum soup was weird with a beefy msg soup taste to it. The general tso chicken and sweet & sour chicken lacked sauce and flavor. Also, there was too much batter. The braised beef was good flavor and would good with rice noodles. The fried coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries were delicious. The vegetable dishes were pretty bad because some may not like that they were quite crunchy and the carrots had a bad taste. The server told us it was Japanese cheesecake but it wasn't. It was still pretty good though. Said they had cappuccino and when asked we were told it was espresso. The seaweed salad was strange. didn't have the flavor like most and was padded with the additional pieces of lettuce.wth.. The food was a hit and miss. Some were good and some not so good. Not the best food in my humble opinion. Sashimi sushi is very limited in choices and were sold by the piece not included in the AYCE. The ordering system was by talking to the server and a menu they had provided and was held in a menu cover that originally was for the Pickle Barrel restaurant. Wtf, how ridiculous is that. The server was decent but sure seemed like she could improve a little in some aspects of the entire interaction times with her. Beautifully decorated place but it felt very dark and the overhead lights were off for 90% of th time we were there. They finally turned them on though The music was a bit loud and made it hard to have a conversation with others. The tables are for 2 and placed together to make it table for 4. The dishes were kinda big so took up a lot of space. In conclusion, it was an okay place and food experience . The food felt like it was prepared by not fully trained chefs but the walls were very pretty images but music was loud. i would go back if invited but only have some of their food dishes that were good.
