Got attacked by bees on the outside patio after being served the flattest beer i have ever received. After the 12 or more bees showed up I then moved inside Witch then the flys started to attack my burger that was disgusting, it also fell apart after a biteI thought I'd give a different draft beer witch also came flat so I let the flys have at it. The outside tables shake tremendously worse than ikea junk. Love this place. Awesome staff, great food. I love Tuesdays here. Half price wings that comes with fries. You also can't beat the drink specials. Wednesdays, come for the $5.00 Angus Burger and fries. There's a different awesome special every day! I try to get there every week. You should too! read more

Although I appreciate the fact that the restaurants are open during this difficult time. My husband and I decided to go out for dinner for the first time in a long time and we are trying to support locale. We were disappointed of the quality of the food and the service. After reminding our waitress a 3 time we finally received our deep fried pickles appetizer 15 min after we were done our main meal. After trying to get our waitress' attention for the bill, We had to put our jackets on in order for her to come over. I was hoping to see some Sort of credit for the mice up with the appetizer but nothing and the charged us extra for mayo. We unfortunately won't be going back there. Very disappointed. read more

Wife ordered Chicken Tenders, and I ordered Jalapeno Burger and Jalapeno Poppers. To start, Wife complained the tenders were to stringy, not understanding what she meant I tried one and it was gross and undercooked. My Jalapeno Burger had no Jalapenos on the burger at all, and the pickles on the Burger were wrinkled and hard, so looked as though they were left out for some time. The lettuce looked like the ends of a ball of iceberg lettuce when you're almost through the entire ball, and so called "Jalapeno" poppers was a Red Pepper, NOT a jalapeno pepper, and instead of using cream cheese they used an orange cheesy paste that tasted nothing like cream cheese, and to top it all off after I ate as much of my dinner as I could, I got sick. read more

Went here for dinner and wanted to try out the food. The ribs always smell good from the outside so had to try it out. Ordered appetizer of oriental wings but they arrived cold and not fully cooked. Our waitress was very apologetic and got us a new order which were much better. Lots of meat on the ribs but only 4 in the order, should have been a few more considering the price. The main meal was the steak puzzano which was quite messy but was warned off that ahead of times. Quite good with lots of meat inside. Good bite too it. The order came with thick cut fries which were fresh and hot. Great portion sizes, definitely not hungry after the meal. Overall typical bar food not a great place for a romantic time. Would be good to catch a game as there are daily specials and TV's on every wall. Service was friendly and meal delivered in good time. Not a great experience but was ok. We were very surprised today judging by the poor reviews to find a very clean, slick and appeasing chain restaurant. As it was across the road from where we were shopping we stopped for lunch the service was quick and very pleasant . I had the Hamburg and have to say other than my backyard it is the best Hamburg in Peterborough I have eaten. Visited on 'wing night' with my son. Our waitress was unfriendly enough that even my 12 year old commented 'she must really hate her job' My son had the bacon burger which was so greasy that it fell to pieces after the first bite. The bacon was undercooked and the cheese appeared to have come out of a tube or jar. I tried out the wings with hot sauce and upgraded to sweet potatoe fries. They arrived all in the same basket with the fries on the bottom swimming in the wing sauce and ruined. The dipping sauce that accompanied my meal came in plastic peel-away containers like one would expect at a drive through window at a fast food joint. The wings were overcooked and smaller than many other local restaurants. We tried unsuccessfully to get our waitresses attention for more drinks without success throughout the entire meal. This is our second terrible experience and the last time we'll visit. Peterborough has lots of great places to eat. This isn't one of them. read more

Just left this establishment after being astounded at the worst service I have ever experienced in a lifetime of restaurant eating. Things don't always go the way you want, but this was absurd. I eat out 3-4 times a week. We were seated in the bar and given menus immediately, and were told that our server would be along shortly. 20 minutes later, we gave up waiting and asked a server if we could order. Again, she said "ok I'll get your server", another 10 minutes go by and nothing. Finally, we said we will wait until another table comes in and if they get served before us we will leave. Two people dressed in pyjamas came in, and sat down beside us at a high top. (For reference we're dressed rather nicely in professional clothing). The server immediately came over and said "can I start you off with a drink?". This was directly beside us. 45 minutes to be shafted to people who most likely wouldn't even tip. I ordered from here for the first and last time. They were busy and I understand that however when the order was placed they told me 20 minutes, which was fine. When I arrived we waited at the door along with other customers for 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then the waitress was VERY rude to us as though we were putting her out by being there. She said that she would have someone check on the status of our food, so after 5 minutes another staff member came up and asked what we were waiting for so we told her, she said oh they are making your food now it should not be too much longer. Another 15 minutes went by and I seen the take out bags at the bar. So another staff person told me I had to go pay for my food before they would bring it out to me. So I pay the $89.86 for our food and we left. We get home and the food is luke warm and everything was over cooked. The wings were dry and tough. The worst wings I have ever had. Papa John's wings are better! They need to tell the girls in there that they need to be friendly and nice to all costumers not just the men. The bartender was friendliest person in there! She was super nice! When I called to tell them how the food was so over cooked and was not good, I was told "oh that's too bad". I wasn't look for anything just wanting to let them know maybe to not cook things so long. The lady just said ok bye! I will never go back there. And Chris who responds clearly you guys haven't worked hard to make this process better. Hit a great spot today for a late lunch. St.Louise made me a scrumptious, Bacon Cheddar Burger. Loved putting on our choice of ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, and BBQ sauce. Can't make a mistake when you get to choose how much of a topping to put on a Great burger and bun. read more

To begin I must say that the service at St. Louis is some what exceptional, although when initiating small talk regarding the selection of food I got no recommendation like I would with other restaurants within the area. But what really turned me the wrong way was the misleading flyer they have advertised at every table stating that domestic pints and select drinks will be discounted at $4.50 around the hours of 3PM-6PM then 9PM till closing.. I happened to come in at 6 and ordered a Caesar but when I finished my meal at 8PM I was charged the full price of the drink. The server didn't come to check on our drinks at all between the time she took our order and the time that our food was out. The food came out and two orders were wrong. Thinking that they're chicken sandwich with crispy onions was one of the best chicken sandwiches I'd ever tasted, I placed a take out order for it and a garden salad from the peterborough location. it was a mushy mess. I could barely taste the garlic dill sauce because the sandwich was covered in so much hot sauce. that my mouth burnedThe crispy onions were soggy not crispy and the container with the garden salad was very skimpy. Servers were friendly, however they were extremely slow, and our server forgot several of our orders (example, didn't bring my beer, didn't bring child's food first as requested). The food came (after we waited over an hour) the food was awful. Food was raw, tasted horrible and was defiantly not edible. When I went to approach the server about our service she was standing in the kitchen texting on her phone, her response to me was that she was slammed. At this point we had been in the restaurant for 3 hours with a child who now hadn't eaten, and it was getting to be passed his bed time. We entered the restaurant at 630pm and left at 9pm dissatisfied, hungry, and beyond annoyed. We will NEVER eat there again, not even if the food was free. Save your money go else where.
