Since my first phone call with them they were so helpful and kind, I really felt welcomed and that they really wanted to help me. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover everything and even returned my calls and kept me up to date. They called to remind me to not eat or drink the day of my surgery and the day of they were so nice and informative, they made sure I was comfortable and wanted me to ask any questions I had. My wisdom teeth removal went great and although I don't remember leaving, my boyfriend was filled in on how to follow up and care for my mouth for the next week. I am so happy and please with my experience here, I will recommend them to anyone who asks and will return if I have to.

Finding a new dentist is hard. Finding the right dentist is even more of a challenge. Who will you…read moretrust with your teeth? Is this person going to be gentle or understanding about your dental needs? Will they treat you kindly? Those were some of the many questions lurking inside my head when I needed to find a new dentist. I honestly went to one just a few blocks from this office a week or two before coming here. I had my cleaning there and heard some rude comments by the dentist (not addressed to myself but to another patient). Still, that comment made me not want to go back there. Luckily, I searched around, found this place and I've been happy since! I started seeing Dr. Ahmad-Majeed in September initially for a second opinion about all the work my new/former dentist wanted to do after meeting for the first time. I explained to her my fear of going to the dentist and that if it's true that we truly do need to replace several fillings that I would appreciate it if we do it at a pace I am comfortable with. I also had a crown that supposedly needed replacing prior to coming here which she then confirmed to be correct but again, she let me choose when I would be comfortable enough to get the work done. She even offered some anxiety medication but I refused since my anxiety level is really not that unmanageable. She started doing some of the dental work that needed done from around October and finished everything by November. I know it sounds like a lot but they were 3 fillings that needed redone and a new crown. The procedures were spaced out nicely though so I didn't feel too anxious during every visit. The procedures went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad-Majeed had always made sure that I was comfortable during them and wasn't in any unbearable pain. She willingly gave me breaks when I needed them especially when she was working on my fillings. I came back today to get my 6-months cleaning and met Carolyn who is a dental hygienist at the office. She was also very friendly and kept asking me if I was doing okay throughout the cleaning process. I had one area which was sensitive and she quickly became aware of it from my wincing. She also explained why I have sensitivity issue on that area and offered some ways to alleviate the issue. Overall, I like this dental office and I've had a wonderful experience here. I know dental work can never truly be a wonderful experience but it can be made better by the attitude of the people doing the work. In this case, it's very true for me!

The office is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Ahmad has since filled two cavities for me. The front staff is very nice as well. I loved the two different hygienists there (Debbie and Linda). Both times, I felt like my routine cleaning were through and comfortable. They take the time to let you know what they're doing and educate you on HOW to maintain good hygiene tips. I've learned so much from just one visit. They also give you little goodie bags with a toothbrush, floss and tooth paste after each cleaning visit. Although the time to get into the back is virtually no wait time, when you're seated in the operation chair it can take anywhere from 15 min to over 30 minutes to get actually start the appointment. Last time, I was waiting in the back for 30 minutes. There are two doctors in this facility and most of the time, the doctors are working on multiple patients at once. The dental assistants seem to be attentive and also friendly. I will say that both doctors are little more stoic and down to business. Since my visits were just to get fillings, I can only speak to that. The doctors are very attentive to when they think you're experiencing pain so that they can give you more numbing to make you more comfortable. Like most dental offices, they are kind of pushy to get you to commit to another appointment (cleaning or otherwise). Not sure how other dental care costs compare but one filling without insurance racks up to $200, and with my insurance I still had to pay $77 out of pocket (something about deductibles). Last time, two cavities cost me $82. Tip: They will schedule a cleaning and not leave time for you to see the doctor! Make sure you make it clear that you want both since they book their appointments for cleaning and other visits separately. I had to learn the hard way and have to come back for a follow up visit TWICE... (why I'm taking away 1 star).

I now have to wait a whole month just to get rescheduled. I'm at the end of my braces journey and regret having them do my service. I never get calls for canceled appointments like I request.
