I have been here many times! I LOVE the art on the walls of the mini golf course. The pin ball machines are also great. The mini golf is really fun; however, my only deduction of a star is that some of the labeling is confusing for the holes and could be improved. Regardless of some confusion when navigating the course, I highly recommend coming here for the nostalgia and artwork.

    The owners response.

I left a review after calling during posted business hours and receiving no answer. Instead of addressing the issue, the owner responded by saying, "Maybe you should consider reading our website... it says clear as day..." and implied that the problem was on my end. That response came across as condescending and dismissive. I did call during regular business hours, which is exactly why the lack of an answer was frustrating in the first place. Rather than acknowledging a missed call or offering clarification respectfully, the owner chose to speak down to a customer. Explaining business policies is reasonable. Doing so in a way that belittles customers is not. Professionalism and respectful communication matter, and unfortunately that was lacking here.

We bought a Groupon for Retro Blacklight Mini Golf. It was incredible. Very relaxed, go at your own pace. The holes are '90 themed. They have pinball machines you can play as well.

I recently came here with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. As a first-time escapist, I was unsure of what to expect from the experience. Our group included four people and we signed up for Blackbeard's Revenge- a medium difficulty pirate-themed room. Once we arrived, we checked in at the front desk. We were provided with access to lockers to store personal belongings, including cell phones as they are not allowed inside of the escape rooms. A few minutes later, our group was called by the game master and escorted to our room. Once inside, the game master sprung into character to set the scene and to provide a quick run-through of the instructions. After giving the ready, our one hour countdown began. The puzzles in the room were cleverly developed to be challenging yet intuitive, which made the experience engaging for everyone in the room. If we got stuck, our gamemaster provided just the right amount of clues to help get us back on track. We successfully completed the room just under time in 58 minutes. Overall, I enjoyed this experience and am already looking forward to trying 1 of the 6 other escape rooms.

I recently went to St. Louis escape room for a birthday and had a great time! You can book an escape room for groups of up to 8. Once you arrive, there are lockers for you to place things like your phone and bags. Our game master came to greet us and stayed perfectly in character the whole time. We picked a pirate themed room, and she shared the premise of the escape room which is to solve little puzzles with the goal of escaping out of all of the rooms. You have an hour to solve all the puzzles and if you get stuck, you are allowed to ask for clues twice. The game master watches from above and prompted us to pay attention to different things without giving away the puzzle. There are other themed rooms including scarier Dracula themed ones and film based rooms like Jurassic Park. Located in the same area are also pinball machines, mini golf, and other arcade games that you can play before or after your escape room. Overall I had a great experience and look forward to coming back!

This was my favorite mini golf course I've played. The course is so creative and unique, and we really enjoyed it! I will definitely return.

We wanted to check out this glow in the dark mini golf that kept popping up on our socials so we booked it via St. Louis Escape. The venue is a few buildings away from Soulard Farmer's Market so parking was a nightmare. I think the parking for the venue is behind the building somehow but you'd have to go down a shady alley or head towards the highway and turn somehow to get to it so parking was an immediate frustration for us. Once inside, we were greeted with high METAL steps. These stairs are not for anyone with bad knees or bad physical shape. I don't know if there was an ADA entrance. Once we made our hike up the two flights of metal stairs, we barely found the check-in desk. We let the cashier know we were there for our outing. She handed us some score cards and pencils and pointed towards where we needed to go. I could barely hear her over the noise inside. So we wandered to the mini golf area. The paintings and sculptures for the mini golf course were beautiful and dead on. I felt the venue was perfect for kids instead of adults due to the swing space allowance. I was underwhelmed by the size/room to swing my putter. I tripped on a lot of the courses because it was narrow. Other than that, it's a cool spot that I wish was wider and in a better part of town.

We took an office team trip here for the day -- our boss worked with them to open early just for our group. We had THE BEST time!! The escape rooms are fun... we did a couple different ones -- loved Jurassic Park!! The video games were so nostalgic and awesome, and we had a blast with the indoor mini golf! The staffer who helped us was very friendly, and gave us just the right amount of attention and help. I would definitely recommend this for a group / team outing, and I hope we get to go back!

I cannot sing praises of this business enough! Our Dracula escape room was unforgettable and had 5-6 different interactive rooms to explore. Our kids loved it! We will be back for some arcade games, putt putt and, of course, another escape room. Also, the attendant to our room was so sweet and amazing! Other escape rooms just do not compare.

We did the Jurassic Park room. Pretty difficult but probably the best themed room I've been in. I would love to go back and try a horror room

About half of us had done an escape room before, so we could compare differences to how Adventures of Intrigue worked. Here's the feedback: Adventures of Intrigue is really great for those that want to do an escape room without the heavy pressure/competition. Which for my family, is very fitting. It's also a WAY better option for kiddos, and seemed like some of the options were catered to kids, which is awesome. Our only complaint is we would have loved one that was really hard. The Save the Queen was rated as pretty difficult, and it still seemed pretty easy for those of us who do puzzles regularly! I don't want to compete, but I do want to be challenged. With that, the way they set things up was SO FUN and unique. Whoever thought of this has such a cool imagination. We loved searching around and finding all the little details. They did a fantastic job with setting the building up, I can't wait to see what else they add. After our escape room, we did an hour in the live video game room. They had cameras tracking our activity so we could pay games physically. Holy moly this place is COOL. Another unique concept that was a freaking blast. The workers were all so kind and fun, and really seem like they love their jobs. Such a cool spot for adults or kids alike. Highly recommend to everyone.

They also have a small café area where you can get drinks and snacks during or before your adventure. Our expert librarian, Jack was very helpful and entertaining, helping us along our journey that day. It's a very creative spin on escape rooms. There were groups of children doing adventures as well, so it seems like it's good fun for all ages. I love that you can go through the adventures at your own pace and don't have a time limit. I also like that we were able to do an adventure where we battled in teams within our group. I think that was really exciting in a good spin! I enjoyed my visit and look forward to doing more adventures in the future!

The time really flies so enjoy every minute! A tip would be to come up with your best family friendly nickname so the MCs can call you to the stage! The two MCs were so welcoming and supportive of all of our members. They even made a few modifications for us who needed to be seated versus standing. That is a huge plus for mobility accessibility. The game room is not too noisy and all the words or numbers were large on the screen too for those with auditory concerns. The venue was very accessible and the restroom was gender neutral but I did not see a changing table to maybe leave the little littles at home. Kid and teenager me would have loved it... the sarcastic 10 year old wanted board games to improve her experience. After considering- I agreed. I would add some chess and checker boards and a few other board games. Or a few Atari games... The epitome was the McDonald's $1 double cheeseburger sign. I asked to order it: they didn't have cheeseburgers, all things are more expensive and everything is not as healthy. I am not wishing for cocaine Coca-Cola or other "medicine" in Dr Pepper. $1.50 for a can of soda is a big jump for a corn syrup from the nickel advertising of a sugar sweet memory. The epitome of the place was playing shuffleboard with the 10 year old. I was trying to play with a sense of touch. She was playing with the idea of creating a highlight reel of knocking my pieces off. I beat her because the idea of the game escaped her. To look back at Asteroids was a shock. Realized that it was just black and white, 2 dimensional game with only a few buttons to control it. Overall I walked still a fan of the glossed over experience. I remember being a broke kid wanting to play unrealistic games to escape from reality. Now I wish for the sugar rush I used to have.
