Sending our 8 month old Lab to K9 Solutions for training was the best thing we ever did! They…read morehelped to shape our pup into the dog we knew he could be! Our lab is high energy, full of love, playfulness, and equal amounts of being ornery. That mixed with bringing home a brand new baby wasn't going to work. So we did some research and came across this program. After speaking with Tommy, he took the time to explain the program and why they do what they do. It put me at ease to know that our sweet pup would be in the hands of people who actually care. He will still be loved and cared for alongside his training program. While in training, we got constant pictures, videos, and updates of our pup from our trainer Amanda. That helped put our hearts at ease as we missed him every day! We saw things he was working on with the trainer, how he was responding and even got to see pictures and videos of them working with him in public at public venues that allow dogs. We got to see his progress and see that he was well taken care of and treated with love and care. We chose the 2 week training program with boarding, and even though It was hard to leave our pup for 2 weeks, it was the best decision we ever made!!! When boarding the dogs, they are well cared for. They are kept clean, healthy and have special attention time outside of just training. They also allowed us to come to the facility to work with our pup when his training was over. This was to teach us all the ins and outs of what he had learned, and have the trainers guidance as we worked our pup on the different commands. When we welcomed our pup back home after his training, we couldn't have been more impressed! He was still our sweet and loving high-energy puppy, but he had control! He listened to commands, we were able to create boundaries at home, he no longer jumped on us but could be excited and contain himself. He was a brand new dog, but yet still the sweet, fun-loving dog we knew! Most importantly, he was gentle and easy with our newborn baby girl. We no longer worry if he is going to jump on us as we are carrying her or jump on the furniture when we are sitting with her. Instead, he sits next to us or walks alongside us as her protector. One of the best parts of this training is knowing that we have lifetime support from K9 Solutions. When you do a board and train, you will get lifetime support from them to do refresher courses if needed. It is so reassuring to know that if we need additional help, they will be there for us at no additional charge! If it wasn't for Tommy's confidence in his program and reassurance that our pup would come back the same pup but better, I don't know what we would have done. I could tell the love that Tommy had for what he does and that was all I needed to know. Our trainer Amanda was phenomenal! You can tell she is a pro and natural at what she does! And you can tell she loves what she does! Her love, care, and commitment to the pups she is training is evident and we couldn't be more thankful to her for all she did for our pup! She even did an at home check with us 2 weeks after brought him home to make sure there was no regression! He was so excited to see her, and it was like he was ready to work again, knowing who she was! We highly recommend K9 Solutions and their training programs! They are professionals that care about the dogs, and take pride and dedication in what they do. This is one of the most well rounded training programs that is run for all the right reasons. If you are considering training for your pup, look no further! We are forever grateful for them and what they did for our pup!

When other training groups failed they helped...and both dogs have lifetime training support. They work with several area rescues helping difficult dogs get the help they need to be adoptable. Cannot endorse them enough.

We had an excellent experience with Jennifer and our puppy Tillie. Tillie adored Jen and excitedly…read moregreeted her at each visit. Jen was incredibly helpful with behavior challenges like biting and jumping as well as teaching essential commands such as "leave it," "sit," "stay," "down," and loose leash walking. While we'd love to say our puppy's quick progress was due to her high intelligence , it was really Jen's effective and easy-to-follow training style that made everything click. We're so grateful for the experience and couldn't recommend Pet Impact more highly!

Jen is an AMAZING trainer. Our puppy has mastered so many important phrases. The other day on a…read morewalk she came upon a chicken bone someone didn't discard properly, and she was chewing on it when we noticed. We told her to "Drop it", and immediately she did. The "Leave it" phrase is also so helpful. Jen doesn't train dogs, she trains humans on how best to communicate with their dogs! We practice with Mayzie every day and are so grateful for these classes. Also, Mayzie was too little compared to the other puppies in her class. Jen really cares about the culture of the classroom, because it is VITAL that all the dogs work well together for training to take place effectively. She asked us if we could do a different class, and she even CREATED a specific class for our pup and added a few others to it. She went above and beyond for our girl to feel comfortable and confident during class. We are newlyweds and do not have a big income, and we talk frequently about how grateful we are that we spent money to take this class, even though we had to manage our resources differently that month. Jen also has the most reasonable rates in the St. Louis area. I honestly could not recommend more!

My dog Clover and I had a GREAT experience working with Cat through Dog Focused Care. We completed…read more4 personal training sessions and saw so much progress in exactly the ways I had hoped. We worked on care coordination to relieve some of his stress with vet visits, learned how to manage nail trims at home, strengthened obedience skills, prepped him for his Canine Good Citizen test, plus learned some fun new tricks. Perhaps the MOST helpful skill I learned was how to be more in tune with Clover and maneuver in ways that build on his already existing strengths. Cat is so flexible, knowledgeable, and gentle- I can tell she's truly able to tailor her approach to each dog's temperament and needs. Highly recommend! We thank you, Cat!
