Once I arrived the welcome I received was beautiful and amazing. I already felt like part of a family and its been like that ever since. I knew then I found my church home. Its been 9mo. I love the series the Pastor does, once you hear a piece of the series your hungry to come back to hear more. We now have 2 locations North & South. Come check it out you'll be glad you did. Something that impressed me at this church was the technology. Sounds weird I know, but you'll notice it when you go. During the worship and sermon, they have two big projection screens of the stage and add info/scriptures below it. They also had a video trailer of upcoming sermon series and church announcements. They give you an option of texting a certain number if you are new. Very fancy! The church lobby is pretty small, but has an open floor plan so you can see where the welcome booth and kids section is. At one point I felt like in an Apple store, they have people behind booths with a lot of computers open facing outward so you can check out their website. I'm tellin ya... fancy tech people at SPC! The main thing that made me go back to SPC for a second week was the pastor. He's legit! By legit, I mean, he's honest and real. From the few times I've heard him speak he's been funny, to the point and personable. Not a hellfire and damnation kind of preacher but also not just a love and fluff kind of preacher. I haven't made any personal connections with people there yet. I've said a few words to people at welcome booths but that's about it. Word of warning when you go: you don't pick your seat in the auditorium, they do. For me, that was a bit of a bother because I'm a back row baptist and my first time there they had me on the second row!!! However, it has its advantages. There's nothing worse than stepping into a sanctuary and feeling like you're back in a middle school cafeteria looking for someone to sit by.

We love our church family. It is full of all different kinds of people young to the wisest of age…read more I put it. From those who have little to those who much, those who are struggling to those who have struggled in the past and those who may struggle in the future. It is full of people, growing together, loving each other well, and in the 4 years we have been there, we have been able to grow our relationship with Christ and knowledge in the Bible so much deeper through small groups offered (soooo many available) outreach programs, serving opportunities, and through going deep in the Word, not just the fluff, on Sundays with Pastor Matt with it being obvious it is through the Holy Spirit guiding him through the Bible. (As so so often the message ends up speaking right to what I needed to hear or what I was reading on through the week, or he ends up speaking deeper on verses I was actually reading!!!!) I absolutely love how much they do with the children although mine are grown. It is nice to see so many younger ones. It is like all generations are in this place. It isn't rushed to get in and out and plenty of time in between to visit if you want to sit and have coffee. 5+ stars if you are looking.

It has always been a place where the Word of God was taught and practiced. Kenny Erisman, Raintree's founder and pastor, is one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever met. He truly has a heart for God and is an excellent Bible teacher. He left the pastorship because of health. Ryan Gilbert, his successor, has also been a wonderful pastor and teacher. The dedication of the men and women leading this church is evident in their attentive service and knowledge.

Pastor Corey McDonald is the head pastor. The messages are relevant and from the bible. It's a small church with vision. It truly is an active church for people who are looking to serve and love ALL people as Jesus does. There is a FREE clinic now open at the church that is open the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1-5pm. Dr. Laura Voss is the main doctor and director of the clinic. It is open to everyone who needs medical care. All the services are professional and truly free and you won't be given a sales pitch to go to church. They want to help families and individuals of all ages get the medical care they need. I've been going to this church since the beginning. You won't find another church like this!
