She recommended an idea to have an outdoor service with music my dad would have loved (60's oldies songs!) and make it a real celebration of his life. Behind the old school...er...church...is Mouth Cemetary... ...the MOST HAUNTED place in West Michigan!! ~pause for effect...smile wistfully at all the disbelieving faces~ Until you have spent the night in Mouth Cemetary (which may not be possible anymore, since the church moved in) you would never know it, but this place was seriously freaky at night. The ruins of a scientist's lab lie (or used to lay) nearby, and the majority fo the headstones in this overgrown place of rest date back as far as the early 1800s/late 1700s! Oh, not to mention the ghosts. Did I mention the ghosts? Yeah. Pretty spooky stuff. It might be a tranquil place but for all the, you know, hauntings and such. Sundown to sunrise were terrifying times for us all as kids... ...and for you, it might make a neat photo op and a place to soak in some truly impressive sights. It's a rare thing to find a cemetary in such a natural, unkempt and gothic state, but this one truly is something to see. Cultural, educational, scenic...and haunted! What more could you want? Oh, and if the old scientist's lab is still there, DON'T sit in the chair on the porch. It's cursed. Seriously. Don't ask how I know, but hey, maybe a curse might spice up your vacation!

If I could give Metropolitan Appliance Repair zero stars, I would. I own a Bosch dishwasher in a…read moresummer home that is less than 18 months old and has been used fewer than 20 times. Unfortunately, it stopped working. When I contacted Bosch, they provided a voucher that would cover all repair costs and informed me that Metropolitan was the only authorized Bosch repair provider in the Mears area. Metropolitan came out and performed repairs, but the dishwasher still was not functioning properly. They returned two or three additional times and eventually told me the issue was caused by excessive suds. I followed their recommended procedure to eliminate the suds, yet the dishwasher still does not work correctly. When I contacted Metropolitan again, I was told they would no longer service the unit and that I should call Bosch to find another repair company--even though Bosch is covering all repair costs through their voucher program. As a result, I now have to start over with Bosch and hope they can locate another authorized repair service in the area. If they cannot, I may be forced to pay for repairs out of pocket, which is ridiculous considering Bosch has already approved and offered to cover the repair expenses. What makes this experience even more frustrating is the extremely poor customer service I received from Metropolitan. After multiple visits, no resolution, and being told they would no longer service the appliance, I felt completely disregarded as a customer. Their handling of this situation was unprofessional, disrespectful, and showed little concern for either the customer or Bosch's reputation. Based on my experience, Bosch should seriously reconsider Metropolitan's status as an "authorized" or "approved" repair provider. A company representing the Bosch brand should be willing to stand behind its work and make a reasonable effort to resolve a customer's issue--not walk away from it. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend Metropolitan Appliance Repair to anyone.
