Patrick was very kind on the phone and asked if I could be there in 45mins. DONE! Dr. Kate Schoemann examined Pupper and without any x-rays she diagnosed Pupper with a blown knee and a torn meniscus. She explained the surgery process and the potential cost. I asked for some time to weigh things out. She sent Pupper home on pain meds; I did some research and decided against surgery due to the high cost. I tried reaching out via phone to Dr. Schoemann to discuss the pros / cons of a leg brace; I called 4 times between 05/26/26 - 06/05/26 with a stop into the hospital. There was a nice lady working the desk who scheduled a "Phone appt " with Dr. Schoemann to call me 06/03/26 at 2:40p; this call never took place. I am very disappointed for the lack of help I have received in the care of my dog plus pro-longing the potential of him utilizing a brace to assist in his walking. Do Better! My dog is my family; my best friend and I want him to have the best care.

(I will not name) at Veterinary MED SURG HOSP of Topeka stated that my Dog did not need a Diagnostic Sonogram after he examined my Dog! I was told that an infection was my Dogs issue. (No doubt he had that as well). After treating my Dog who had not eaten for 3 days sent me home with pills and a can of Dog food. I worked with my Dog day & night for a week and he got worse. My Dog was weak and gasping for air. I went back to the first Veterinarian and It was obvious by Dog was in much distress. I had my Dog put to sleep to end his misery. Not two seconds after I let go of my Dog when he stopped breathing, Blood ran out of his nostrils. My Dog had a week of suffering with cancer and a Diagnostic Sonagram or Any other like device would of at least suggested CANCER! I do not have a lot of fancy words for the distress or the equipment that could have been used, but all I know is this facility let my Dog down and He suffered for a week!!! Not to mention the $511.00 wasted on incompetence! On the afternoon of 1/27/2023 (11 days after being seen by The Veterinary medical surgical Hospital of Topeka) I received the one and only follow-up call regarding how my Dog was doing! In the past I have received a call from a VET the later in the afternoon or the next day after a booster or Rabis shot!!! In the initial call they were extremely thoughtful with the emotions and logistics that comes with caring for your animal. My experience in the clinic was just as positive. The front desk people were warm and inviting. The veterinarian was extremely helpful with answering all my questions and helping to assist with the problem. I left the clinic feeling very supported. The clinic even went as far as to check up on my pet a few days after her appointment. These people CARE! I am so extremely impressed with the professionalism and how personable this clinic is.

I took Morgan to see where he would be staying and to meet Deana the day before (I had recently found her business by searching online and was also meeting her for the first time), and both she and her husband were very personable and friendly and it was obvious that they themselves were loving and gentle pet owners. They also introduced their furbabies to Morgan and it was nice to see they all got along well. It was very comforting to know that Morgan would be sleeping in a living room on a carpet with human and four-legged friends and not in some metal or concrete cage with other anxious dogs missing their owners stressing out in an adjoining cage (pretty much the conditions of other local "kennels"). It was also nice to know they had a fenced-in backyard (with a small kiddie pool that Morgan enjoyed wading in) and so he would not be in danger from passing traffic when going outside. I believe the individual by the name of Faye epically failed this morning when I showed up to their "hospital" with my dying Bella. Instead of greeting me as I walked into their "hospital" she told me to wait and proceeded to book an appointment for later in the day. As my Bella suffered this person couldn't be bothered to put a call on hold or tell me that they didn't even have a veterinarian on duty. Admittedly I was rude and left with verbal expletive on her lack of intelligence.

My dog was there for eight hours yesterday even though we were the first ones in the door. The…read moregroomer took later entries before her and left her until last. I tried calling but got no answer and finally caught up with the groomer when she was eating.......at Subway......at 4:30. In all that time my dog had not been taken outside (there is no safe place to do that) and when she got home she drank and drank and drank. That led me to believe she had not had water during that time. The haircut was uneven, nails were not clipped and she threw up all evening. Also, the cost was the same as everyplace else. I would not recommend this business and will not be going back.

Both birds look like the received the worst hair cut... aka wing trim imaginable. My African Grey had minimal balance afterwards because of how excessively short her wings were. I seen plenty of happy customers walk out with their dogs. However this was not a experience that I am willing to repeat for my Avian Family members.
