Had them pump my 2 compartment tank with a filter. The driver only pumped the secondary tank, which was mostly liquid, discarded the filter, telling me "It is unnecessary, You don't need it". He never attempted to find or pump the primary or large tank, where most of the solids are, telling me " I can get it all from here", which he did not! This situation has the potential of shortening the life of my 4 year old system, and premature failure if left unchecked. It's a shame that I put my trust in the hands of this outfit assuming that they would know better being in the septic construction business. I am fortunate enough to have mentioned the filter removal to a friend, who explained the dynamics of the system and helped me to discover the negligence and or incompetence of their service. read more

We used St Onge Septic for the first time today. The technician who provided service was "Josh". He was polite, thorough in explaining some issues we may encounter and offered suggestions. (He had to help us locate the tank cover since we'd had construction done since the last service. He was patient and was able to offer a back up plan when it was discovered one of the covers had been covered by a walkway.) He presented the true meaning of customer service and this company only benefits from having employees like him. Great service, helpful advice and got the job done in a timely manner! read more

We have used St. Onge septic for five years now. We have always had great service from them. Today we had an issue with water backing up out of the drain for our washing machine. Called them and with in half an hour they had someone at our home. Turned out the filter screen in our septic tank was clogged causing the back up. The tank was very close to being full so they even pumped our tank out for us while they where at our home. They saved us from having a stinky back up into our home! read more

I've used St Onge in the past with excellent results, however this past call out exacerbated the problem. I had raw sewage overflowing from the basement toilet. They came out ,opened up the system ,said it didn't look bad mostly water but he would snake the line going back to the house. The technician worked the snake so hard that he broke through the pvc clean valve and raw sewage then leaked down the finished wall in the basement making the situation worse. Called their main office and got no satisfaction all they offered was to credit us for the $5.00 cost of a new clean out cap, nothing towards the additional clean up costs. Not happy and will look elsewhere read more

I purchased a home 2 weeks ago, the home had a new septic and leach field installed by St Onge last month. I have been calling with a question to determine where exactly my new septic tank and leach field are located. I've left messages with the receptionist, on their answering machine and even wrote an email. It seems impossible to get them to call you back. I too have been told "I'll give your message to ___" but I never receive a call back. I initially was going to stay with St Onge for Septic maintenance but now I don't think I will because of their lack of timely response to customers. read more

Hard to reach. I have called several time and always get told "I'll give your message to ___" but never get a call back. I've mentioned St. Onge to several people and the first thing everyone says is "Oh, they're hard to get in touch with" and "You really have to keep after them to get the work done." Update: I did finally get a call back from one of the owners. He was very nice and said that he'd send the landscaper to finish the hydroseeding. The hydroseeding was done one day while we were both at work, but looked good. The soil was raked to be level and we were looking forward to our lawn. Unfortunately, we got a huge rainstorm the next day that washed most of the seeds away, but that wasn't St. Onge's fault. We'll have to reseed in the spring. read more

Had trouble with my pumping station called at night left a message. they called right back at 8am when they opened came right over that morning. Laid a tarp down to put the gravel when they dug, pumped me out fixed the broken pipe.They picked up, cleaned up put the sod in a different pile so I could put all back.
