Took communion, as one does being part of the Catholic Church, and as part of the WEDDING PARTY…read morethat was being hosted within the mass, was publicly shamed and asked by the priest if I was "even catholic" due to the placement of my hands. Right over left vs left over right... I stuttered after his comment as I was intimidated at that statement, but nonetheless, took communion, per the Catholic customs and standards. Others following behind me in the wedding party have all told me they were uncomfortable taking communion after hearing the priest say that, even through it is within their own belief and practice, being part of the Catholic Church as well. I wish the members of this parish were much more inviting and welcoming, given the fact that this mass was performed for a Catholic marriage, our group making a booking and arrangements to be their clients. After this experience, I can confidently say that I'd rather go back to my home Catholic parish, Corpus Christy!

They recently expanded on the property with their new building, as attendance has continued to increase. I think people get the wrong idea about a church when part of the message includes tithing, which reveals the true believers from the posers, as we are to give with an open heart. Even though it is a recurring message here at this church, they are never hostile or pushy about it. The new building was funded through the church, a body of believers, and was navigated through much economic turmoil, i.e. banks rejecting loans or attending church-goers' giving being reduced for any number of reasons. I think that says a lot about God's power and how his Holy Spirit is working at this church. There have been many victories along the way! It is BY FAR one of the most alive churches I have had the privilege of being a part of, even though I am not currently in a serving role. For me, one of the most uplifting parts to my soul is hearing biblically based songs being sung by the church, young and old alike, and feeling the Holy Spirit pull me closer to God with every word that I sing. Give this church a chance. You won't regret it!

They have no family bathroom so he took her to the womens to avoid her seeing something she shouldn't at the urinals in the mens. As soon as he walked out he was being point at by the staff and then in service we were being pointed at and talked about. Then in the middle of service Mike Shamburg approached my husband and says "Take her to the mens next time" my husband said no she is a little girl and doesn't belong in the mens room. We tried to discuss this with them and were just laughed at by Mike. This was our first and obviously last sunday there. This church is horrible. Its also so hot in there you will be miserable. My entire family including my 8 month old were drenched in sweat. And it's definitely not non denominational. More Pentecostal than anything

The pastoral team remembered my name the next week I returned. The Pastor has a sense of humor and the sermons are understandable and applicable.
