If you come to Red White & Blue, you too can find the gems and no need to be a seasoned thrifter! What amazing finds! Like A-mazing!! Example: $398.00 designer dress for $7.99..... AND half off! A $350.00 leather purse for $40.00 and half off! Wood, mid century coffee table for $7.00 (in other stores this table would be $50.00 or more). You must dedicate some time to looking at each section and you definitely can't be in a hurry. If you just swish through each section, you too can find phenomenal deals. You will find almost every name brand item here for an amazing price and in fairly new/new condition. Only problem is you can't try your items on. I did see a guy with a fabric measuring tape which I thought was genius. He would measure his pants and shirts to make sue the actual listed size would fit him. Where there is a will, there is a way! I decided to pass on a few items out of fear that the fit was off for my body. Parking is plenty, plan to wait in a line (not too bad of a wait) to check out, and CASH is king since it is the only way to pay.

Why that may be is because it does not look like a business. It sits on a road that looks like a driveway to houses, and the building itself looks like it might be a garage. Once in the parking lot you realize that it is indeed a business and that they are open for business. Like most thrift stores there is an area outside for donations, like a drop box, but this one directly goes inside the building. Simple setup on the inside. The place looks rather small, but I will explain that later. The floor where all the items for purchase are located feels cramped, and a bit unorganized. The aisles are rather small and definitely can become congested. Going to put this out there guys, there is not much clothing items here for you. There is a larger ladies section and children section. But don't let that dissuade you from coming here. On top of the clothing you will find household items, toys, games, and small appliances. The list could go on. Now, back to the point where it feels cramped. The building is rather large so you would think that would equate to a bigger inside, well it is a bigger inside because it shares a space. It shares the space with a food pantry that serves the area. What you buy in the store portion helps fund the food pantry and other services they offer. Great place as it also provides cash assistance which can help cover rent, mortgage, or utility bills.

A lot of what you will find in here are items that have been reclaimed or repurposed. Gives it a little bit of a crafty twist and somewhat personalized. If you want to look at it in a different light, think of this as an Etsy account brought to life. It is a great place to find a thoughtful gift for someone. To top it all off, they have vintage furniture pieces throughout the space that look like display pieces, but in reality they are up for purchase as well. Some of the furniture pieces are quite interesting and I have never seen them personally. Wedding gifts, bridal shower gifts, holiday gifts (no matter the holiday), furniture, and the list could go on. Don't worry guys, there is even things in here for you as well. They actually have a section of the space blocked off and labelled as the 'Man Cave.' Even if you do not purchase anything you can at least get yourself an idea of how to repurpose something you have or how to create something new. Hours are short, but totally doable. You are able to hit up this space rather quickly. There is an entrance from the parking lot and there is an entrance for the WOW Outlet next door as well.

However they only deal with home furnishings and home decor. If you are just looking for a bargain, this may not be your place to go. The way it is set up you actually feel like you are in a run of the mill furniture store. It is rather large inside and you might find something you didn't expect in here. Merchandise changes frequently, so coming back may be a different experience. Customer service is top notch here and basically cuts out the guess work. I had a question on whether they had an item or not and with the answer I got it saved me from browsing and become frustrated. Hours are a bit odd, so make sure you call ahead to see if they are open or look them up online.

This is another thrift store in the downtown area of Blairsville. I'm not trying to play…read morefavorites, but this one was lacking, for lack of a better term, variety. The space is rather small and very cramped. With it being like this the items are all packed in and sometimes hard to sift through. There is a bit of organization to the chaos, but in actuality it is just a bit chaotic altogether. I walked in and wanted to go through the men's section and maybe look to see what else they have to offer in terms of knickknacks, but it was just all piled up on itself that it kind of gave me anxiety to go through the stuff. The employee, maybe volunteer, that was working at the time had a flat affect and made for a bit of a weird interaction. When I walked in I had said hello and attempted some idle chit chat, but it was as if I was bothering her, or maybe she just didn't even care that I was there. Whatever it was that kind of added to my anxiety at that point. I sifted a bit, and then just kind of made my way to the door.

Simply put, this particular store once took pride in organizing and displaying merchandise, meaning those who ran this store cared as much about second-hand items and those that donated and bought as much as if the items were new. Everything had its place, set upon shelves and racks with care. That is no longer true. Merchandise looks as if it were just tossed on a shelf, to land as it might. Racks of clothes are not even attempted to be adequately sorted by sizes or straightened. Honestly, it appears that all this store's workers despise those who both donate and shop thrift stores. I will no longer be either donating or shopping here and, believe me, from past posts you can see, I have shopped here plenty and found great finds in years past Shame on St Vincent De Paul for allowing this store to be in the shape it is.
