Two guys came right on the appointed morning with a big truck, and maneuvered the couch carefully out of the living room, 90 degrees into a covered from porch with a low ceiling, turned it 90 degrees again in a small space, and got it out and down the stairs. It takes skill and strength. Very nice guys as well. I am going to switch to SA, instead of Goodwill, for our future clear outs of clothes and other items.

I was very disappointed in this store. There were 3 people in the back to help me unload the few…read moreitems that I had. That was fine. Then I went into the store. It was an absolute mess. It looked like someone started to organize clothes by size and just gave up and stopped halfway through. The dressing rooms were full of clothes just left there. The rack to put clothes on that you did not want was piled 3 feet high. There was only one person in the front trying to work on that. She had a back brace and a cane, which made it hard for her to do this. She was also the cashier. No wonder it was such a mess. Then one of the men from the back took my cart and put it away, which was great, but then he just stood there doing nothing else. The store needs better organization and more employees to keep up. I have no desire to shop there again.

They also benefit from large private donations for major projects, grants from corporations and foundations, and income from their investments. You would think they could afford toilet paper and toilet bowl cleaner. Shame on the management of this store!

I was able to pick up some good finds in the home decor section; vintage Pyrex and other dishes. The clothing section is large, but one must really have the time to look through it all . Less one star because they staple the price tags to the clothes which are tricky to remove and prices seem to have increased for if being a thrift store. They tend to have a good selection of fury item from time to time. And seniors get a 10% discount daily.

I said they clearly match, we're hanging on the same hanger, and only one is marked..maybe they should each have their own price tag then....what a joke???!!?!

I am seeing dollar store items priced at $2.99, broken glassware priced at ridiculous amounts, and donations from stores that marked their items half off priced at the original amounts in this store. I understand that everything is going up in the world but these price hikes are insane and I will no longer be shopping here. I should not have to pay $3.99 for a Dollar Tree drinking glass. Because of these prices I feel the shelves are still filled with the same items I saw 6 months ago because not people are buying. I've spoken to many guests in the stores who feel the same way. My business is now going to St. Vincent DePaul and a local thrift store just a few blocks from here.

**July 2025: Tuesday Afternoon Visit**…read more This was such a great charity shop to visit! It was a pretty hot summer afternoon so being inside a well ventilated and ac'd store was a relief. The store itself is styled like a boutique and is a long hallway with different rooms focused on different clients (ie. children's section, men's section, active etc). I did feel like many of the women's clothes were geared towards a more mature crowd, but I appreciated the fitting room to try everything on. Unfortunatley, the things I loved were probably meant for juniors/teenagers and were just a tad too small for me *cries* Nevertheless, I found some really great (like new conditioned) random things like a Superman BBQ Apron (perfect for the summer of Superman), and Michael Kors Mary Jane Pumps that will work perfectly for my Wicked outfit that I'm putting together. I didn't know at the time, but I suspect because I visited during the week of July 4th that everything in store was 50% off, which almost felt like highway robbery since everything was already very inexpensive already! My Mary Janes were $10 and thus $4.50 and the Superman Apron came out to $2.50. This is a great clean, organized and well priced charity shop that I'd love to support again on a return visit. Enjoy!
