**July 2025: Tuesday Afternoon Visit** This was such a great charity shop to visit! It was a pretty hot summer afternoon so being inside a well ventilated and ac'd store was a relief. The store itself is styled like a boutique and is a long hallway with different rooms focused on different clients (ie. children's section, men's section, active etc). I did feel like many of the women's clothes were geared towards a more mature crowd, but I appreciated the fitting room to try everything on. Unfortunatley, the things I loved were probably meant for juniors/teenagers and were just a tad too small for me *cries* Nevertheless, I found some really great (like new conditioned) random things like a Superman BBQ Apron (perfect for the summer of Superman), and Michael Kors Mary Jane Pumps that will work perfectly for my Wicked outfit that I'm putting together. I didn't know at the time, but I suspect because I visited during the week of July 4th that everything in store was 50% off, which almost felt like highway robbery since everything was already very inexpensive already! My Mary Janes were $10 and thus $4.50 and the Superman Apron came out to $2.50. This is a great clean, organized and well priced charity shop that I'd love to support again on a return visit. St Mary's Thrift shop is one of my favorite thrift stores in the greater Milwaukee area. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of clothes, housewares, books, holiday decorations, jewelry and so on. Prices are fair and if you catch a sale, there are remarkable deals. read more

There is a crazy Disney loving older lady that works there, and she is so incredibly rude and so unwelcoming. She also gets quite aggressive with customers. I think she feels mighty or something... She reminds me of my old Catholic school teachers. Just bitter and nasty. Keep your ears open on the way out of this place as all these crotchety women will talk about you on your way out the door before you even exit the building. The prices are outrageous for a lot of things that should honestly just be thrown in the trash.... read more

I don't go to thrift shops often, but decided to stop into St. Mary's recently and was pleasantly surprised. The store is very well organized and priced fairly. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I definitely will be visiting again. read more

I visited for the first time last week. I had my little dog with me. The clerks were so welcoming and nice and were very dog friendly. They told me to come anytime with my pup! Then, flip! Today I went again along with my pup and the assistant manager told me I had to leave. She was very rude. I told her that I was welcomed in the week before, but she said that was because she was not there. I had a whole car full of nice donations and left and took them to St. Vincent de Paul where we are always welcome. That's one less resale shop for me and my friends to visit! read more

Under new management!! The shop continues to offer new and like-new items at very reasonable prices, with hidden gems galore. They are very selective for the merchandise offered; no dirty, broken, junky things. Many shoppers come weekly! There's lots to discover! read more

Very clean and organized. Unfortunately, the prices are out of control and there are signs all over about theft.

This lovely thrift shop is run by the kind parishioners of St. Mary Visitation Parish. Any volunteer I've encountered has been wonderfully kind. As with any kind of thrifting, you never know what you're going to find, but I've found plenty of treasures here, including winged tip shoes for my baby nephew and plenty of books to stock my shelf. The store merchandise display was well organized, neat and rich with lightly or never worn hidden gems. Fantastic quality, selection and prices that can't be beat! Store personnel were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I don't think I ever had that much luck with clothes of such quality in any other thrift shop I've been at. The person behind the front desk is rude to every single customer. There are signs everywhere about theft and stealing. This is not a welcoming environment. When someone came in to talk to the worker about a joint fundraiser, the worker said, "we make all the money for you." There were three other rude comments from her like this in the few minutes I was there. read more

I almost don't want to write a review for this thrift shop because part of me wants to keep it a secret. :) This is a great thrift shop. It is small, but I almost always find some great deals here (mostly on clothes, shoes, and accessories - they have a decent stock of housewares and books too). It is clean and pretty well organized. The store is volunteer run, and from what I read online, the proceeds go mostly to the church's school to keep tuition down. read more

Difficult to find, (it is in front of church), impossible to park. I parked across the street and down the block. When I finally made it inside, they closed at 6 pm on Thursday, instead of 7, as posted on Yelp. In 5 minutes I did purchase 2 silk scarves, one vintage, for $1.98 each. read more
