I like to look at the tools and they were what you would think, miss matched sockets and screw drivers. My wife looked at the clothes and then gave me the let's go look, I still wanted to look deeper into the collection of stuff. After a couple more minutes we decided that maybe we would come back at another time. One mans trash is another mans treasure I say , my wife disagrees. We probably will check out some of the other shops locally.

I went there to donate a queen size bed frame, Head board and foot board…read more Clean and barely used everything there. Parts in a ziplock bag. No mattress or springs. A young man comes out and I tell him what I have. He asks "is everything there?" And I tell him yes everything is there the frame fits together without parts and there's a bag with screws for the head and footboard. By now I had the headboard out of the truck ( no help from him) and he ask's me a third time if everything was there....so I put the headboard back in the truck . I took it to St Vincent De Paul and they thanked me. Goodwill has gotten rude. Absolutely nothing is too for them.

So there I sit, watching in awe as the only other employees who could help me, was a chic and some older dude who looked as if he wasn't gonna help me until he was finished flirting with the young lady who was filing some folders. Now I do apologize because she was pretty and I could see why he'd be so upset with me.. but I was starving and now the only one who can help me is glaring at me from across the room as he walks over to me with a little smirk as if to say "thanks a lot there, genius". So he asked if I ever been there before and I said yes but that I forgot when..then this is where it starts getting weird..because this man starts saying something to the effect of "oh it says here that u haven't been here for food for A couple years"...which means you been supporting yourself like a real man"...ok..first of all, I was there bcuz I was so hungry..and I needed food i didn't need to hear these biting insults from a ponytailed punk who looked like he never missed a meal in his life. So they sent some barfly who pointed to certain boxes that seemed to contain TRASH. long story short, I left that place with 2 loaves of bread.a couple rotten pairs. a little pack of cookies and about 3 bags of lettuce..I SWEAR..I stood in awe as people were walking out with sandwich meats, .milk, Gatorade, can goods, fresh fruit, etc. So I don't know how I made this guy so mad, but I did...it was a hot day also...with no liquids and only a bag of lettuce and a loaf of bread I knew I was in for a doozy...I'll. Never waste my time there again...it just seemed like theyd rather keep the food themselves..very stingy and cold.. not the image the Starvation Ar---oops, I mean Salvation Army has projected until Now. If the guy is reading this I just wanna say sorry for asking for help when I did because it interrupted your flirting with the secretary in your office..I was just hungry bro...I'll ever bug you for food again ok buddy?
