My daughters have been dancing here for 4 to 5 years as recreational (not competition) dancers and I love that this studio is committed to both recreational as well as competition. You never feel as if the recreational dancers are less important, which is nice. I also appreciate that the dancing is both tasteful and high quality. I don't feel as if they are in-training for strip tease. (which isn't the case for all dance recitals that I have seen!) For those of you wondering about the name, this studio actually does do dance theater. They include theatrical dance pieces both in the recital and in area theaters. (This year they performed Mary Poppins and Peter and the Wolf at the recital.) CONS: They have gotten much better, but in the past the administration has been a little disorganized. Communication can be erratic and sometimes classes can start 5 minutes late, but if you can live with all of that I HIGHLY recommend this studio.

After the first six weeks of classes they started practicing the routine and then 75% of the time most of the girls stood around watching other girls practice their parts of the routine for the recital. My daughter, as well as other girls there I know, got very bored and did not even want to go to class. She had the size of this class way to big! I was told there would not be that many in the class. And let me tell you about the obscenely long FOUR hour recital she scheduled. What other dance studio does that??? That was brutal on many levels for both students and the family members there watching. Several people left after intermision, which at a normal studio would have actually been the time a recital would end. Not to mention the unorganization of it. She also overbooked seating for that auditorium. So Bridget threw some folding chairs in the aisle, in front of a safety bar,so not only were we in awful folding chairs but also could not see without looking under or over the bar. We paid $120 for folding chair seats in the isle with an obstructed view. Had to put your head under or stand up to see kids on stage. Overall I have to say I was very dissapointed with Bridget's on several levels. I would NEVER recommend anyone go to that dance studio. I will be trying Amy's Dance in Braintree.

I would be paying this women a fortune to teach my daughter the same thing she taught her the week before. I am very displeased with my overall experience with management and staffing. We decided on a ballet-themed party. On the day of the party, Biliana and her team allowed us to come in one hour ahead to set up. They had already decorated with delicate tulle banners, and adorned my daughter's seat in a beautiful tulle skirt. All the tables and chairs were already set up. The place is spacious and clean. They make sure everyone is having fun, including the parents. We had a rather elaborate cake table, and they constantly pitched in to help us. The kids were led in a ballet lesson, which they loved, and a series of games. The kids LOVED it! They helped us take group photos with the ballerina, who was lovely to work with, as well as serving pizza, cake, and cleaning up. It was the best birthday we have ever hosted outside of our home, and every child loved every minute. So thankful to have this gem of a place in Brookline.
