The service at Stacked is always great. The food is good but have had better. Food is usually Luke warm at best. A bit disappointing

I went to Stacked in Wasaga Beach for breakfast. The inside of the restaurant has a standard look to it, with many booths and tables for people to sit. Although the restaurant was very busy, we were seated right away. The service was not great; it took about 15 minutes before someone asked for our drink order, and another 10 minutes before our food order was taken. When my food was served, there was a hair on the side of the plate, so I sent it back. When it came out again, my eggs were cold. I also asked for two pieces of bacon and no sausage, however, my order came with one piece of bacon and one sausage. I won't be back. read more

Gord and I had breakfast at Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House yesterday morning. The place was packed when we got there and we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. We were fine with that. We got the notification within minutes, though, that our table was ready. Yay! We both got the Jumbo Express (3 eggs, choice of bacon, homefries & toast). It was a big tasty meal. I ordered fruit side cup and a pancake Cinnabon. The fruit seemed like it was cut days ago because it was juicy in a way that it was on the verge of going bad. The Cinnabon pancake didn't taste bad but definitely did not present well as you can see below. I would not order the fruit cup unless I was inside the restaurant so I could see it first. I would order the pancake if I was inside the restaurant because I think the quality control just isn't there when they use ubereats. I have seen other images of other people posting from this place that look far better than what I received so I am assuming that perhaps it's through takeout and ubereats that they're just isn't attention to quality control because they don't have to deal with you being unhappy or unsatisfied. I have posted this review on Google reviews and they reached out to me and said that they would like to make things right. So I do want to state that they have made mention of this, so my hope is that Uber eats delivery items quality is the same as when you order inside the store. Your typical breakfast fare: pancakes, eggs benny, big breakfast combos, etc. They get pretty busy on weekends and they don't take resos so be ready to wait if you visit during a prime time. While I found their food just good (not bad, not great), I will say that their pancakes are definitely special - they don't taste like the kind of pancake you'd make at home with dry mix. Worth a try if you just want a stack of cakes! Not a must-visit for their other foods. read more

A great place for breakfast and light lunch or breakfast for supper. Loved it there & especially the strawberry jam!!

A good hearty breakfast, but nothing special. We'd tried to go here 2 days in a row and it was completely packed both times, after finally getting a table, the food and drinks themselves were cooked correctly and seasoned well, however the dishes themselves were a bit uncreative. NOTE: full name is Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House My family was heading to Wasaga Beach and we wanted breakfast before we went. We stopped by here for breakfast after looking online. Unfortunately, it was hard to find this restaurant on Yelp but that doesn't mean the business is sketchy in any way. There are certain specials if you came really early in the morning (like 7am) but unfortunately we were unable to get the specials because we came after the time. The area was relatively clean and spacious. It did take a couple of minutes to seat us but definitely was not packed and there was space. Service was great and the food was great too. Definitely very filling and was served in huge portions. Enjoyed our breakfast and would recommend people to drop by if in the area. read more

I don't have anything bad to say about the food itself but I would like to address the kids menu. I orderd each of my children(under 5) pancakes off the kids menu and made the assumption they would be children sized. The kids menu pancakes are two 8"+ pancakes and I think with the rising cost of food, shortages that maybe you could save on the waste by making the food more appropriately portioned for kids. They had 3 bites and left 80% of the whole dish untouched. More is not better for kids. I would have preferred to order extra had they ate it all vs thrown out 2 almost whole plates of food. read more

Stax Wasaga Beach review First-time visit for my wife and I. Ordered two 'Junior Stack' breakfasts. Home fries were black and overcooked, so hard you could break a tooth if you weren't careful. Bacon cut thin as possible, poor tasting, greasy, low quality. Eggs, toast and jam were good. Service was not great, wanted to order a refreshment, didn't see the waitress until near the end of the meal. The waitress noticed and mentioned the overcooked homefries when she collected the plates. I agreed and said they were a little too crunchy for our liking. Waited for our bill, she never came so we went to the till and met our waitress there. I expected to see a discount on the bill when she had mentioned the over cooked home fries herself. There was no discount, she said nothing. There's no excuse, the place wasn't that busy and when you go out to eat you expect decent food. We normally tip 25%, not this time. I visited this location today with my boyfriend and his friend. We arrived at 10:30 and were already in line behind a lot of folks who were waiting both inside and outside for a table. We got our name on the list and were seated within 15 minutes. Our waitress was great and came to take our order right away. It was difficult to hear as there were so many people in the restaurant so she had some trouble hearing us give our order but she still got it right. Unfortunately, our food did not arrive to our table until after 11:30. I will say in all fairness: our waitress apologized twice for the delay and also gave us an update on the status of our order while we waited. I thought that was a nice touch as she made a point of making sure she knew we weren't forgotten and had acknowledged that we had been waiting. Sometimes that makes all the difference in a good or bad experience, just to acknowledge that there is an inconvenience makes the situation better. Our food arrived together and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the jumbo express with scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes. Everything was served in good portions. My boyfriend raved about the deluxe western omelette he got. He absolutely loved it. Overall, I gave this experience five stars because of the waitress. She apologized again on our way out the door and said that Sunday's at this location are "just insane". The number of customers through the door today backed the kitchen up by 40 minutes. It's obviously a great place to come and have breakfast or else it wouldn't be this busy every weekend. It's worth going but pack your patience! read more
