My wife and two of her friends were just kicked out of Loobies immediately after finishing their breakfast. They were NOT asked if they wanted anything else and the waitress immediately brought the debit machine over and said "It's busy, we have a line and you've been here long enough". They arrived at 9am and got kicked out by 10am. My wife and her two friends get together once a year as they're from out of town. We however are from the area. My wife is a very kind person and would never had said anything so I thought I should speak up on her behalf. I was in the restaurant business and owned 5 very busy restaurants and not once did we ever rush patrons so we could increase our turnover. Anyone can make scrambled eggs and bacon. More than half of the reason to eat out is for the experience and there was zero experience today at Loobies for my wife and her guests. Not a way to run a business. We're local and have been here many times and helped support you through the pandemic for gods sake. I'm all about supporting local business as I'm a local business owner myself but after the treatment of my wife today, never again with Loobies. Word of mouth spreads very quickly. We'll make sure to let everyone in the Hillsdale/Craighurst area the kind of experience you provide. Apparently you're serving cattle. It's extremely unappreciative customer service. In a very rural area like this, its a huge mistake and word around here spreads like wildfire. Good job Loobies in ruining their day.

Service is VERY slow here. Got the lasagne daily special and it was NOT good. I wish I can give a better rating but I cant. Perhaps other dishes are good The 2 star really based on how busy they were... and the friendliness of the staff. In Craighurst... there really is Foodland... and 2 restaurants... this being 1 of them. So selections to dine is minimal.

I'm from Toronto, but was staying at an accommodation nearby. This place was such a treat! The breakfast was delicious, even by my semi-snobby Toronto standards ;-) The portions were huge, and it was just a good classic breakfast. The maple beans were DELICIOUS - pure maple syrupy goodness! The bacon was delicious and crispy, the home fries were more like baked chips (still yummy). Perfectly cooked eggs. My least favourite part was the pancake, which was a touch dry. Overall though, a really good dining experience at a great price with friendly service. Can't go wrong!

An amazing local breakfast restaurant. Cozy and certainly meant to bring a community together. The place is always packed. The food is out of this world. Our friends were treating us to breakfast during our vacation at Carriage Hills Resort. The food was great and portions were just right. The restaurant always had a line up with at least a 15 minutes wait time. The place is quite small; hence my 4 stars. Staff were very friendly and did not fail to make conversation. Seems like a family owned and run business from the passion they put into the work. Definitely worth the visit. Will recommend with no hesitation.

I ordered the Fish & chips for $15.99. I should have split it with someone. The portion sizes are large. Ordered Diet Pepsi (served in a can with a cup of ice. Very cute diner and great food and

Great food. I loved the baked beans pancakes, and the cheese omlette. They were very helpful in the suggestions they made for things to do.

We were greeted at the front by the hostess and seated by our waiter. The patio set up was stunning and since it was snowing outside the fireplace warmed up the space. We came in at about 4pm which was on the tail end of lunch but beginning of dinner, so we were able to order from the dinner menu. We ordered the prime rib sandwich with lobster bisque soup, Caesar salad and miso glazed bone marrow. We were very disappointed when the bone marrow came out, we had thought it would be hot and easily spreadable but we were sadly mistaken. It was topped with a shrimp ceviche, caviar and micro greens. I felt the dish was two separate items smashed into one - the bone marrow was cold and chunky, tasting like you were eating chunks of fat mixed with the shrimp. We were interested in the Caesar salad because the waiter mentioned it was popular dish - but when this all came out, it looked & tasted like a regular salad. The prime rib sandwich wasn't anything spectacular and the lobster bisque tasted watered down. We finished off our meal with a London fog cream brulee which was delicious and a pistachio cheesecake. Overall we weren't fans of the food but we fell in love with the stunning decor & atmosphere.

Seated fairly quickly and drinks came shortly after. They were missing two sets of utensils when we sat down which was odd but fixed after the meals came. We were checked on every so often though water not refilled. Food: Garden salad - iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of cucumber, some red onion and 3 wedges of tomatoes and a sweet salad dressing. Likely plates in advance and kept in fridge as they literally came out 10 seconds after we finished ordering. Still fresh-ish though. 3/5. All main dishes came with 3 slices of cooked carrot, 1 broccoli piece and 1-2 cauliflower pieces. Also comes with your choice of baked potato, mashed potato or fries. Fries are from frozen. The mashed seems to be from fresh potatoes. Salmon - pretty small piece of salmon. However, it was cooked really well with a crispy exterior but still moist. The seasoning added to the flavor without overpowering. 5/5 for flavor but have to ding it to 4/5 due to the small portion. Prime rib - surprisingly thick but likely to make up for the fact that it's not super wide. Both sides were seared well but still remained a nice medium rare inside. Some parts were more tender than others but overall pretty good. 4/5. Pork Ribs (full): Comes with 2 full racks of ribs - is a ton of food. It wasn't exactly fall off the bone as some parts did require effort. The flavor was pretty good with a sweet and garlic sauce. 4/5. Price: On the pricier side but not too bad. Looking at around 25-40$ per dish.

But today my tea was lukewarm, and when I told the waitress she went and got me more lukewarm tea. She asked if it was better but didn't wait for my answer.
