If it's not sitting around waiting for a phone call to be returned that never comes, it's waiting three and a half months for a new dishwasher to replace a busted one (that I was still paying for in my monthly rent). The policies are not communicated well enough to the employees that answer the phones either, so whatever answer they give you to a question might not be accurate. For example, two different employees told me I wouldn't have to pay the pet fee again for my dog before I resigned my lease. Then a few weeks after I resigned, guess what $300 charge was posted to my resident account? Also, these apartments are relatively new, but they are falling apart already. For example, I had stepped on several protruding nails on my staircase and the maintenance crew didn't seem too concerned after a work order was placed just a week following move-in, so I had to resort to repairing the nails myself before an injury occurred. I give the complex two stars because, outside of the maintenance issues, the units are very spacious and nice. The campus shuttle is also a life-saver, though it could run longer for the students with classes after 5pm. But I feel like I was constantly fighting with the administration for one thing or another the entire two years I lived here.

I enjoyed interactions with them when they had be had. My issue- I moved apartments twice living there. Both random roommate assignments. And here's a warning. If you are going to the outposts, as a person with no one to move in with you, DO NOT! Move here or get random roommates, they have you fill out a questionnaire, and then actually, completely disregard questionnaire, set you up with two of the dirtiest people you've ever lived with that let their cat poop wherever (and this was after my original two friendly roommates moved out and on!) Then you pay to move, and get moved into "a good match!" Wrong! OCD isn't even the word I'd used to describe who I was "a good match with" she was psycho. The homes are nice, prices were outrageous and rose after every year I lived there, area is nice. I don't like the front desk staff very much. Except the curly haired girl, she's very sweet. The other ones acted like I was stupid anytime I spoke with them. I will miss the apartment, and that is ALL! Also a little under two years ago, the bus driver died! And they (911) LEFT HIS BODY BARELY COVERED AND VISIBLE ON THE PAVEMENT! THE OUTPOSTS DID NOTHING TO ADDRESS THIS HORRIFYING EVENT. Do you know how traumatizing it is to just see somebody's BODY while you're on an afternoon walk?? Mind you, I wasn't even nosing around. I was on my phone on my walk, no sirens were sounded, as they (911) were just waiting around. No one was blocking his body or anything and I look up and boom, dead body with arm and his left side just hanging out.

As a professional career apartment property management exec, these guys do the absolute best they can with what they have to work with. Two years, few issues. Service requests were completed in a reasonable amount of time. Leasing process was straight forward. The move in process was flawless, in comparison to the thousands of properties I have overseen over the years. Issues: Idiot kids who trash the amenities. The pool was endlessly closed, because your kids trashed it. Fire alarms going off in the middle of the night, thank God they work. I'd rather have the shitfaced kids light up the oven and cause the alarms to go off than the other outcome - 900 kids trapped in a building. Y'all can keep whining, but I give no credence to a one star review.

When you do they are too busy to help you or incapable and they will NEVER call you back. The RoomMate Sync is a myth and my son was never given the opportunity to choose his roommates. At every turn the experience has been disjointed at best. The contract is so draconian that you would never sign it if you read it first. My advice is run, don't walk away from this place

Avoid at all costs…read more Poor business practices have led to a seemingly never ending mountain of problems, largest of which is the complete lack of honesty. I was promised upon signing a lease that there would be a parking lot within 5 minutes provided. Supposedly CSU pulled the rug out from under them on their parking plans. Problem with that "get away from me" response is, CSU is NOT 5 minutes away. It's closer to 20. Had this been the offer at lease signing, I would not have signed. But the promise was made, and the trend of saying something to appease the current situation began. I was told I would be found a place to park for the night of move in. I was directed to a lot that was not legal to park in, and was fortunate that my car did not get towed. I was promised a phone call to right the situation. That call never came ("You have to push us" - very promising, and impossible for someone in a serious schooling program). I've been told the Discount Tire lot is their next big stop gap (though I'm not included on that list, despite it all) - no work has been done on the lot for the last week, if at all. Very big priority, clearly. The dog and pony show doesn't work well for someone who's car came from 1000 miles away. I've been told everything from "park at a friend's house," "risk parking at CSU overnight," to "park at this church." The aforementioned church, is a 20 minute walk (If you are a trained runner, I suppose) in nice weather, and is a run down vagrant haven. Bottom line - they will tell you what you want to hear to get your money and get you to leave them alone after that. They will also fail to mention the smoking in stairways, the daily fire alarms going off, the rarely-delivered on amenities (multiple WEEKS to set up a printer? Really?), and so much more. Such a shame - if only some proper planning had been put in place, it would all be so doable. Or maybe if you major in basketweaving (or apparently business, guess that is pretty simple stuff.)

Pool is out of commission every summer then magically works before move-in. Staff is extremely friendly and kind, fun events. Terrible upper management, very money hungry, and unaccommodating. We chose this place for their dog friendly…read morepolicy and also for the promise that they enforce dogs being on leash as my dog is reactive and aggressive with other dogs. There are dogs off leash almost daily. The same people every time, and I've called the front desk close to 10x, called corporate (no response) and finally resorted to animal control. The most we've gotten is an email to everyone saying "just a friendly reminder to keep your dogs on leash." Tonight my dog almost got charged by a large dog who the owner had no control of. Luckily he was able to grab his dog as it was running up us. But he then let the dog go and it immediately ran up to my roommates dog. Then not even a minute later another person comes outside with her dog offleash and it immediately runs up to the other offleash dog. Luckily no one was injured but this is a never ending problem for us. I am extremely frustrated with this as it is a serious safety concern. There are countless other times of people having their dogs offleash and maintenance driving/walking right by and saying nothing. DO NOT live here if you have a dog who doesn't do well with other dogs. You will be checking every corner when you take your dog out. That's only one problem though. The cleanliness and quality of furniture of our apartment when we moved in was unacceptable. Our couches were completely destroyed by cats and who knows what else and the couches gave us rashes because we are allergic to cats. It took them 3 months to replace them and only got replaced when someone from maintenance saw how bad they were and put in their word. I would not recommend living here to anyone.
