It was nearby the Hampton Inn Charlottesville India. Parking was adequate, but they did get busy on a Sunday morning and most spaces filled. For rookies when entering you go to the right wall and purchase a wash card. A nice staffer assisted me. Then head over to vending to get detergent, softer and dryer sheets. The business is loaded with equipment which makes it seem small. There are a few tables and stools to sit. Also a few folding tables. The machines are Electrolux and worked great! I washed a sheet for my daughter in just under a hour. No issues. Before departing a customer picked up her laundry washed by staff and he even carried it to her car. That elevated my review. A 3.5 seems perfect, but rounding up with excellent service that was not expected.

This used to be my go to laundry mat as it's close to my home. However, things have changed…read moredramatically. Most of the machines are broken. They have taken all the vending machines out. They've also taken out the laundry soap dispenser in case you needed to purchase laundry detergent or dryer sheets. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was a box of needles left under the sink. Whoever now owns this place just doesn't care anymore. If they didn't want to deal with the upkeep, they should've just closed up shop and sold the equipment while it was still working to recoup their investment. It's truly sad to see a business which used to be booming go down the tubes as this one has.
