You can arrive a half hour before the show starts to pay and get your spot to watch the movie. Tonight we watch Shang Chi and the Ten Rings and our experience specific to tonight... Not the best. In the beginning of the movie there are subtitles which you can't read because on this screen only the top line ever showed. So as long as there's only one line sentences you're good! In addition there aren't any loud speakers or speakers to place on your vehicle like many other drive ins have, so we had a really hard time hearing. I don't know if this movie was shot in dark lighting or if they needed to adjust lighting on the screen, but there seemed to be a glare or it was often hard to see some scenes. There was an idiot with his car lights on which may have posed a problem as well but no one said anything to them. No one walked around to check for things like that like many other theaters do as well. The website indicates if you have difficulty getting your lights to turn off they have covers for your car to use to dim your lights. There's no info about additional speakers though it does say if you have issues you can let them know. Also kind of bummed with the choice of preshow music. We really enjoy attending the theaters that okay the old fashioned tunes and ads! You only get half an hour before hand anyway which also could be extended some. Show up as early as you can within that time frame to get the best pick of parking spots. Also bring big spray or citronella candle or something. Bugs galore! We may try this theater again in the future but will need to probably bring a radio to provide additional speakers.

My son rented skates that were broken and when we reported back in that…read morelatches were broken and poked into his foot and wanted replacements, the employee questioned us and said maybe we didn't know how to put his skates on. A second employee gave us new skates without question. After about 45 minutes, my son had a blister the size of a quarter on his foot so went back up to get skates one size bigger. That same employee rolled her eyes like we were making her job so hard (there was no line). Two suggestions: (1) be proactive and interactive and take a moment to see if the kid's skates work, and (2) retrain the bratty teenager who doesn't really want the skate rental job. In the rink, things were pretty good but you have to watch out for (1) tiny children who don't know how to skate wandering everywhere, and (2) kids racing around like they're Apolo Ohno qualifying for the Olympics.

The festival is big. Need about 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete. Best parking space is at parking lot between the Hernando County Government Center and Courthouse. Festival is free. In the same day, they also have the antique car display. The festival has many types of vendors. I visit the lemonade vendor, tangerine tree sale vendors. The festival has kid section for the bubble foam zone. Kid love to get wet and run into it. They also have the blow up air tent for kid to play. The festival cover at least 5 street locations. Music play in front of the courthouse.

Came here for the first time for the 8th annual festival, it was so much fun. Festival was from…read more10am - 3pm and we got there a little before 10am and there were already a good number of people there. Once 10am hit, it seemed like the moms and the kids all hit the single sound hay bale and started stuffing their clothes they brought with hay to make their scarecrows. They were running low on clothes this year so you could either buy a top and pants for $4 or you could just bring our own. The hay, twine, and paper bag for te head were free. Fun for the whole family. They also had a couple vendors, pony rides, food stalls (hot dogs, lemonade, kettle corn), kids slide, and 2 jumpy houses for the kids. At the end of it all, you get to take home your scarecrow, just in time to display outside for the Fall season and Halloween.
