I spoke with the server Nelly and I wanted to know what style as in what region do they represent in their cooking. She mentioned owners are from Guanajuato Mexico and bring those flavors to the restaurant. I have personally visited this region and yes !! I can taste it in their dishes. Guanajuato is known for their culinary taste and style and you will fall in love with their flavors. So if you are near Dade City or just willing to take the ride to experience Guanajuato flavors in Florida, Del Carmen will not disappoint!!!!! Must visit and I'll be back to check off more dishes from their extensive menu. What a great Authentic experience!!

We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.

I love that this farm is still thriving amidst all the development going around it…read more There is plenty of parking and lots to do. They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

We picked an entire box which is provided at check in. Live music and great food at the food trucks. I've had both the pizza and tacos/quesadilla/rice bowls. All are great. Kids will love it. Worth the drive. We will return for blueberry season.

Visited the Winter Garden Farmers Market this past weekend, and I have to say that this is probably…read morethe best farmers market in the Central FL area. Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

Really enjoy the farmers market always have a large variety of vendors…read more Most of the vendors are super friendly and approachable. Pricing can be a little on the higher side, but I think that has a lot to do with the area. A great place for a Sunday morning stroll to pick up some local produce and things for the week to come Super casual parking can be tough at times, but if you go early enough, you can get in and out before it gets too crowded. I would say out of all the farmers markets I have been to this one seems to get the most crowded around 10 AM.
