This is an inn and pretty much just a stop over sort of place, not on par with what you expect from chain hotels. Sheets and towels felt and smelled clean. Bring your own charging station because we only had two outlets in main area that worked. Pool was out of order. The floor in the entire room was angled so much that I almost tripped into the tub. No conditioner. You had to choose whether you wanted the soap for your hands or for the shower. Incredibly uninsulated, so you could hear other people taking a shower. That said, the bed was comfy. The SMI / Dubois WY is my base for visits to Teton / Yellowstone. The hotel is a bit dated but the location allows you to walk the river or the downtown for shopping or food. The green space around the pool was nice for the family. Super friendly staff gave me a 8 x 14 printout with 6 rocal routes to get you off the 'big' road onto the back roads to see some wildlife. Dubois also offer the National Military Vehicle Museum - wrist band lets you in for two days. read more

Stayed at the Stagecoach last summer with three older children. It was the perfect spot - downtown and walking distance to restaurants, bars, gift shops, etc. The room was large, clean, convenient and priced right. That condom sitting on the ground in front of the office cost Stagecoach Motor Inn at least a star... The office clerk told us they closed down early, but it doesn't make sense considering the only people staying in Dubois are passing through and road travel will bring travelers into town at odd times of the night. I tipped the guy for staying late, but I shouldn't have had to feel guilty enough to do it. The beds were hard and not very comfortable and the suite wasn't very sweet. I did get a decent night's rest and the price was low for a night, but if I booked one night earlier I'd was saved like $20. That's my fault, but still pretty lame considering I was one of three customers there that night. I will not stay at Stagecoach Motor Inn again. Instead I will return to The Longhorn Ranch which was way nicer and had awesome views in the morning. read more

Great dog-friendly inn. The rooms were big and it was in a great location, near restaurants and bars and coffee shops. The prices were a bit high but I had just paid 2x this in Jackson a few weeks earlier so I didn't mind too much. read more

This is a cute hotel. Nothing fancy but does the trick. Right in the middle of town. Cowboy cafe and rustic pines tavern within skipping distance. Wish the rooms had coffee and wish that the pool area had been open just for lounging and reading since there were no lounges or chairs outside aside from the pool area. River close by as well. All in all, it's an ideal stop on your way to Yellowstone. read more

Nice and cleaned. I have no complaints at all. We only stayed for a night so we have no problem. Plus the restaurants so near its just few steps. I love as very very disappointed this morning. I was in the middle of my shower and the heater turn it off. I wonder why? I called my husband and ask him why? I still had the shampoo on my hair. He said I guess they had limited on the heater. What the H....l? I rinse my hair with the cold water and I wipe all my body with the towel. Coz I can't dare to shower with cold water. read more

Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but they had fans in the rooms and windows that open, so it was a comfortable temperature at night. I do not, however, recommend staying in the room we had (#141). It was right next to the laundry facility, which was in operation fairly early in the morning. The washers banging away definitely disturbed my sleep in the morning. Other than that, it was a great place to stay for the night! I would stay here again, but in a different room. read more

My friend and I decided to meet with our families (husbands/1 kid each) in Dubois for a vacation and needed a reasonably priced place to stay, and we found it with the Stagecoach. We rented a kitchenette room, and it was nice. There were two bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen area. The bedrooms were good sized, the bathroom was recently remodeled and the kitchen had the basics that we needed to make some simple meals. The downside were the beds. They were older and need to be changed out, but other than that it was a good experience. There is a small playground area behind the hotel, a pool, and its location is great for walking to everything in town. read more

Booked this place because it was one of the cheaper options outside of the Grand Tetons (about a 40 minute drive). We loved it! My mother and I both used the pool, hot tub and laundry room. Location was perfect; we got to walk around the cute little town of Dubois. No breakfast, but the coffee was good. Staff was extremely friendly! Woman at the front desk told us about the rodeo which was a blast on our last night. The only downside was the wifi would cut in and out. Not sure if our room was too far from the router or too many people were on it at one time. But, would stay at Stagecoach again! read more

Checked in, nice little place. Paid $160 for the two bedroom room. Since they surprisingly don't have anything for breakfast, the kitchen turned out to be really nice. There wasn't any hot water at 7pm, 730, 800, 830, and 900pm. I called the front desk at 915 and Paula explained that we share hot water with another room. Their solution was to wait 30 min or shower in the laundry room. Are you kidding me? There wasn't any hot water from 6am till we left at 8am. The pool was filthy and the hot tub had 4" of foam on top of the water when you fire up the jets. This could be a really nice place if they cared a little more. How disappointing. read more

We had business in town and decided to stay at the Stagecoach Motor Inn. Upon checking in the owner greeted us and made sure everything was ok, later he shared with us some history of the town as well as the motel. This is an older motel but the rooms are spotless clean. We are thinking about going back in the summer as there is a stream that runs right through the back of the property. Another nice thing was this place was right next door to a few good restaurants. We were amazed by the feeling of this town and how great the people are. read more

I had a good stay at the Stagecoach. It is little older motel but still well maintained. The location is fantastic and right in the "heart" of Dubois. Literally steps from a cafe, pizza joint, bar, and other shops. Would stay here again. read more

I used to stay here every time I come to the area (4-5 times per year). They are very often booked. Not fancy, but great people run this place. After coming out of the mountains from a September Elk hunt, my friends and I needed a place to stay in Dubois. We found the Stagecoach Inn which was a perfect spot to relax and spend the final days of our vacation. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and appreciated the ability to wash our laundry after a long week. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating - they even lent us a hand shipping our gear back to the east coast. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well priced. The location was fantastic! We walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner as the restaurants were all within footsteps of the front door - this includes local pubs and gift shops as well. I would highly recommend staying at the Stagecoach Inn and will be sure to stay again if I ever get another chance to go out west. Stayed here for three night with two little kids as a home base for Yellowstone and Teton adventures. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfy and quiet. Has not been renovated for a while but is very clean and well-kept. They have a nifty outside area next to a creek that is great for kids. Lots of little touches everywhere that show the owners are thoughtful about the guest experience. I would gladly stay here again. read more

I can't speak for the non-pet rooms, but do NOT stay here with a pet. The room was not clean, old and musty, smelling faintly of cigarettes although it was a non-smoking room. There was pet hair everywhere upon arrival. Including on the sheets and three out of four pillows. Additionally, the bath was luke warm and ran out of hot water half way into filling. When I spoke with the manager, instead of offering a refund, he turned it around and blamed my pet for the dog hair on the pillows. This motel is definitely not worth the charge plus the pet fee.
