AMAZING!!!! This has to be one of the best campgrounds…read moreI've ever seen. Beautiful campsites, beautiful location, the showers are very clean and are individual rooms which include a sink and toilet. They're even have nice light wood plank paneling. The campground includes tent sites and RV sites with cabins available. It's beautifully wooded with lots of shade and a stream runs along the back of the property. (The view from the stream is breathtaking.). The young woman at the office was so nice and very helpful. There's a nice gift store that offers very unique jewelry and other items that you don't find in most campground gift stores. They also sell ice. We highly recommend checking it out.

The back door has a bench facing the mountains for watching wildlife and the beautiful scenery. It's more like a small cabin with a vaulted ceiling, two queen beds, a very large wood table (for bags, boxes and other supplies), microwave, refrigerator, a leather chair and a small kitchen table for two ( which my man is using as a desk. The bathroom is HUGE. The sink area is smaller than those hotel rooms that have that large flat area outside the bathroom where the sink and mirror are located. There is about 5 feet of open space so you don't have to put you face near the toilet when you dry yourself off. The beds are super clean and super comfortable. The Ranch Brand is all over the room. On the headboards, back of the chairs, and even on the mirror. Everything is made from wood, no plastic, cloth or pleather chairs and tables. We checked in late, so we haven't yet taken advantage of the rest of the property. There are some 'trails' or walk around the property. The Walkabout Loop goes around the whole property, which is right next to the Wind River. There is a playground and firepit. They have 10 tent sites and 55 RV sites. You can pull through, pull in, back out your RV. They even have some spaces for 'big rigs'. There are also 4 cabins as well, so they have whatever level of comfort you're looking for. Can't wait to come back, maybe stay in a cabin and take a horse ride.

We decided we wanted a different spot than what we reserved which was no problem and he brought us firewood for the evening. He came by a little later to see if we needed anything. Fantastic views of the hills, HUGE RV sites, miles of ATV/walking trails from the park, few/no mosquitoes since it is not on the river. We have stayed at KOA and Longhorn Ranch in Dubois and wifi was better here. Yes it's rustic but it's quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Full hookups. Cons: No laundry facility. There is a laundromat not far away.

The views and peace that comes over your soul are just healing. Who cares if it is gravel and has no shower house, I have a house on wheels! What we all need more of is what this jewel offers. The designer really thought about where to situate the sites. Considering all are on a massive hillside, the fact our site was level enough to just park it and walk in is quite impressive. We are traveling in our Arctic Fox truck camper and larger rigs might not find it the same, but it is definitely worth the effort to settle in for a night or a week of nights.

The owner, Jeanine Baker, actually raised her voice at me and spoke over me as I asked for at least a partial refund. The spot we were put in had no electric or water, the sewage was being used by the camper next to us. The picnic table and area around was littered with construction and plumbing supplies. During the night a large man under the influence of drugs or alcohol was stubling around near our site making it impossible to sleep comfortably for fear of our safety. The onsite bathroom is filthy and backs up to a shop with chemical odors so strong it is hard to breathe. We were charged 82.00 o stay here after asking for a different spot we were told there was not another spot. We literally could have stayed in a parking lot for free and felt safer. Don't waste your time or money, the owner is terrible and the camp sites are unsafe at best. I would provide pictures but this review doesn't allow for photos.

I can't speak to cleanliness and maintenance in that regard Biggest complaint is that we decided to stay an extra night, and they said that would be no problem, except that we'd have to change spots since the one we were in was booked for the extra night we wanted. This was fine. However, after they charged us, they said we would have to leave the premises at checkout and return hours later at check in. This was unexpected and didn't work with our plans to explore the park. Being in a 40' motorhome, we didn't have any place to leave our RV for 4 hours. That was the whole reason we booked another night. We lived and traveled in our RV all over North America for a year and this has never happened. They said they needed us to leave to "clean" the site. I'm not sure why you need to clean a strip of gravel. When we asked for a cancellation and refund of the extra night literally within hours of asking to extend the stay, they refused because they said cancellations must be done within 24 hours. Which was impossible because we only asked to extend the stay a couple hours ago. Super weird and unreasonable situation.

Dirty, gross, park. ZERO stars…read more When i was checking in, the two people checking me in were fine with me pulling into my site because they thought I was in a truck towing a RV. When I said that I'm actually in a drivable RV and towing my Jeep, they suddenly insisted that I unhitch my Jeep before turning into the spot 'because it's a really tight turn, and we're trying to keep the grass nice'. I told them I've been in tighter sites than this without unhitching so I'll be fine. They tried to argue with me about it! So you're ok with my truck towing my RV, but not my RV towing my truck? There is no logic in their thinking. As predicted, I had no need to unhitch. As far as 'trying to keep the grass nice' - there was no grass! Only green weeds and dead areas and maybe some grass mixed in but it was awful. There are rodents & their holes all over the campsites! Mosquitoes are abundant even though they claim to spray for them. The bathrooms and showers are DISGUSTING!! Spiders everywhere, dirty, old paint on the walls that's bubbling up and falling off. I doubt they clean those showers ever. So gross. I read the reviews before I booked but I booked anyway. Buyer beware.

You'll travel south from Jackson to the Hoback Junction, traffic circle 3/4 turn. Take US 191 12 miles until you reach gravel/dirt Granite Creek Road taking a left. Do not go by the Yelp address listed as it's incorrect, and I haven't been able to find the specific address. Be prepared for an 11 mile bumpy ride while viewing gorgeous Granite Creek running through the Gros Ventura Mountains in the Bridger Teton National Forest. At the end of the road Granite Springs pool awaits you. Check for current pricing before you go, only open in summer (by car) and winter (by snowmobile, skis or dog sled). Also, important to note, you'll have no cell service within this area. Soak your cares away while enjoying the gorgeous Mountain View and the evergreen forest.

Small cars would not be recommended because there are tons large holes. The drive continue on the road and you will dead end into this destination. Walking up to the springs. Looks like a something out of a bad movie. Or the movie Vacation. Kinda scary or weird. Run down with shacks and satellite dishes. Once inside. There is no food or drinks allowed. So don't try it or you will get yelled at. The cost is for 1 hour. So plan on being booted after your hour. There are no towels or enough chairs. So be prepared to sit on the ground. The pool is cracked and run down. But once inside the water it is quite enjoyable. Our family had fun and it was a good experience. I would recommend based on the fact it was a fun time to get to swim in a natural environment. Overlook the pool cracks and moss growing it was worth the drive.
