I rarely buy clothing that doesn't At any rate, we had just purchased our home in Scottsdale but I was still living mostly in Houston at the time and had a lovely tailor there ~ but I knew her skills were limited. I was actually leaving the bank and got lost when I saw the sign for Rose's Alterations. I stopped in and met Annette and her mom. We chatted about my dress and I made an appointment for a fitting. My thought was I'd see how she "worked with" the fabrics. A few days later I met with Rose and that's when I was sold. Beyond being the sweetest person, the moment she starts nipping and pinning ...if YOU know, you know. Rose is a master. That was nearly 8 years ago. Since then, Rose has been a godsend in that she's done amazing work and I would not trust anyone else with my wardrobe. Her latest magic was truly that. I had purchased a dress for an event, but it fit horribly. So I bought several options ...none were as cute as the first, so I in desperation, I reached out to Rose and Annette for help. The day before the event!! They came to my rescue!! I simply couldn't believe how quickly Rose transformed that sack into a perfectly fitting dress Both she and Annette are a joy to work with. Professional, warm and have an incredible attention to detail. I've dealt with tailors at all of the high end stores ~ Annette is far superior in her level of experience and professionalism. LE truly went above and beyond for me…read more I was referred by Mariee's Bridal in Scottsdale to Suzanne's Sewing to have my wedding dress altered, and unfortunately it turned into a disaster. After my very first appointment, my dress went from fitting perfectly to not fitting at all, and with every subsequent appointment it only got worse. Two weeks before my wedding, I realized I had to take a chance and find someone else. I called Le and she knew even before seeing the dress, she immediately understood what was going on and agreed to see me at the end of her workday. When she finally saw the dress, she was shocked by the condition it was in. It had essentially been slapped together by Suzanne's Sewing. The dress had been stretched out and damaged from being repeatedly taken in and out, and mismatched material had even been added under the arm area and along the sides that looked nothing like the original fabric. LE worked on my dress every single day. During the first week I was in the shop every other day, and the week before the wedding I was there every evening. The night before we left for the wedding, I didn't leave her shop until 3 a.m. Despite the condition the dress was in, LE managed to completely transform it. She made sure it fit me perfectly and that the corrective alterations looked seamless. She even prepared a backup dress for me in case the original dress ripped during the reception because of the previous damage. LE is incredibly skilled and has a remarkable eye for detail. With formal gowns, every adjustment affects the entire structure of the dress. If someone doesn't fully understand how each change impacts the rest of the garment, the results can quickly spiral into bigger problems. LE clearly understands this craft at a very high level. If you are getting married or have a special event, this is absolutely the place you should go for alterations...DO NOT GO TO SUZANNE'S SEWING!

They also happen to be just up Bell Road from where I live so I decided I was going to stop in. I was greeted right away and Yuriy took a look at the tear in the comforter. I've seen at-home dry cleaning kits, but that idea kind of confused me, so I took the old fashioned route at Rite Cleaners. At both drop off and pickup, the employees were super nice. Best of all, my pillow case smells and looks brand new. Though I try to avoid buying dry clean only clothing and items, I would not hesitate to return here for future needs.
