First, the design work that she did, and the effort made on the presentation to me on her design proposal and materials was top notch. This ain't my first remodel rodeo (well, it's my 3rd one). I told Kylee that I placed full trust in her design - because that's what I hired her for. Even when I was waffling a bit in some areas, I asked Kylee for her recommendation and followed it (remember our microwave back and forth?). Her ideas came out spot on every time. For the project management, all I can say is good luck doing a complete remodel in the middle of covid (this review is several months after the remodel was completed). I had asked my agent about having it staged. She was not sure it would be cost effective but I decided to take the plunge. Utopia Home Staging had it evaluated and staged with in 3 days. They offer three levels of staging depending on your budget. They will make suggestions but are NOT pushy. If you say "I prefer not to", that is the end of the discussion. They changed out outdated ceiling fans, changed out bathroom mirrors and even minor touches such as attractive door mats at the front door. When I walked in. It looked like the home had doubled in size!!! Good news, sold in two weeks after staging. I even had someone say that if they were in the market for a house they would just walk in and buy the place "as is". Furniture and all. The decor matches the style of the home they are working with. The de-staging process was just as simple. With a couple days notice, they are packed up and out of there without a scratch on the walls! Keep in mind, this was not a luxury home But they made it look so much more elegant. They stage all levels of homes. She came out to our home for an on-site consultation and helped us narrow our search for a large-scale banana leaf print for the powder room, and grasscloth for the Tiki Lounge, even making a suggestion for an accent wall that I would have never thought of. It must be noted that they do not only offer wallpaper services! We had custom floor-to-ceiling drapes made in gorgeous moss velvet and vintage accent chairs reupholstered in stunning salmon pink velvet. The wallpaper installation was seamless and easy, taking a few days, and everything was completed on time. Our Tiki Lounge is amazing! It's the perfect escape at the end of the day, and we love entertaining in the space (it's hidden behind sliding barn doors, so it's a nice surprise for guests!).
