This company came recommended by very good friends of ours. We were excited to have them hopefully help us with a huge home remodel. However, we kept getting blown off and phone calls/phone meetings not returned as promised. They would give us a date and time that they would call, yet no calls ever happened. After numerous times, we gave up. Which is too bad. Their work looks amazing on their website, but after seeing how they treat prospective clients, we would NEVER use them or recommend them. So beyond thrilled to have selected Kingdom Home for my bathroom remodel. Ethan was our project manager and he did a phenomenal job! Ethan and his team were excellent to work with and super kind. I hate having to write this review but I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. I just can't shake the feeling I got duped and taken advantage of. I'm not going to name anyone either but they know who they are. Me and my husband were basically doing a whole home remodel : kitchen, three bathrooms, laundry room, drywall, flooring, stairs, windows, doors, pool replaster, painting, etc. We had gotten several quotes from other contractors in the valley and they were all around 100-125,000. This was over our budget. We called Kingdom and they sent over one of their project managers who laughed at the quotes we got, shook his head in disbelief at the price and confidently said he would definitely be under that. He even went as far as to say that we were regular 9-5 people just like him and his wife and that he would work with us and let us do some of the demo and take that cost off the estimates to keep the cost low. He made it seem like he understood our situation. We showed him everything we wanted. We even showed him the other quotes. He also stated that they use 'in house plumbers, drywall, and electricians'. We were impressed by that. We trusted him. We thought we found the perfect company and we were so excited to get started. He then sent us a rough quote and we liked the price and figured after all was said and done it would be maybe 15,000 more and still within our budget. He told us in order to proceed and to get the hard quote we would have to have the design done for $3248 by one of their designers. The designer would make up the plans and take measurements and then we go from there. This was the only way they would give us the hard quote. I just want to point out I showed them exactly what I wanted so there wasn't ANY creativity done on the designers part. I showed them a picture of a kitchen that was done in the same model house of ours in the neighborhood that I loved. Told them that's what we wanted. Basically this 'designer' took measurements. Actually she didn't even do the measurements....she sent her under qualified assistant to do it. This design took over 8 weeks to be ready. So we waited. They also sent a cabinet specialist who according to our project manager would take 'detailed measurements for the cabinets'. This entire process took like 3 months. It felt like forever. During this three months it was very hard to work with them due to their poor communication. We had to repeat things many times and there was a lot of confusion on our laundry room so I basically had to to draw it for the designer. One time the project manager asked me if I could meet him at the house and I told him I could but he never confirmed with me. He then showed up and I had to drive across town to let them in the house to measure more and do more estimates. Then they had their plumbers, electricians and drywall guys come out and low and behold they all showed up in unmarked vans/trucks clearly not kingdom home employees. The plumbers were a father/son team from who knows what company. Our project manager said when he told us in house he mean they work under their license which is not the same thing! Literally lied to us. That's exactly when I realized we might be getting led on and that we made a mistake. The final estimate came back and I was absolutely heartbroken that it was literally a higher price than the other ones I got. The ones that he scoffed at. It was over 100k without materials. All these wasted months and paying interest/payments on the loan we took out for the project only to be absolutely deceived by this company. The best part was that those designs and detailed measurements that we waited months for and paid $3000 for were ALL OFF BY 5-9 inches!!! We discovered that when our new contractor did measurements for cabinets and the bathrooms. How?? What did we pay for? They have a disclaimer that their measurements are estimates but to be off by that much is insane. How can you claim you are a frikkin designer and literally aren't capable of taking detailed measurements. I can understand a 1 or 2 inch discrepancy but 5-9???? In multiple areas??? I can't get over laying $3000 for zero creative input AND inaccurate measurements!!! I feel so robbed and tricked. I 100% believe they took advantage of us. They knew we had to be done by April. They knew that if they got us to pay the $3000 for the design and made us wait months and months we would have no choice but to go with them since our deadline was approaching. Absolute predatory behavior. I've tried to call them to speak with the owner multiple times but no one answers the phone. And I refuse to talk to our project manager because this could have all been avoided if he had just been honest and told me that would be the same price as the other estimates. You guys should be ashamed that you lied to us the way you did and basically stole $3000 from us. Everyone be warned. read more

Our vision of remodeling our master bath grew to the guest bath and whole house flooring and we could not be happier with the end result. Ethan Hunt, our PM, was simply fantastic and I'm sure it helped that I taught a worker or two when they went through the middle school that I taught at. This was our first major renovation of any home we've owned and Ethan made us feel comfortable with every step of the process. Alex was more than accommodating throughout the process too. The owners Lincoln and Brian have a fantastic company here in Las Vegas. UPDATE: Since we moved back into our home, any little thing that we may have missed on our walk-though, Ethan has made sure all items were addressed and taken care of. I am absolutely in LOVE with my new kitchen! I was terrified of doing a major renovation because of all the horror stories out there, but Kingdom Homes went above and beyond my expectations. We had a wonky kitchen layout that needed updating and Seth was able to see what no one else could and helped us design the perfect layout. Jeff was amazing from start to finish. He was patient with us and answered every question we had. The crew was very professional and took pride in their work. They didn't cut any corners and went above and beyond. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I wish they would have taped things off a little better because there was a ton of dust everywhere afterwards. If you value your time, sanity, and mostly your money- choose someone else. It has taken me almost 6 months to write this review to make sure I was being fair. Worst experience ever!!!!! Lots of unmet promises. So many things went wrong on this job. It took double the time to complete the project. I was promised 7-8 weeks and it took 15 weeks with the job still not being completed. Workers were sent out that clearly had no construction experience what so ever. We ended up having to do some work ourselves to make sure it was done right. - Worker used thermostat wire to lengthen my speaker wires for surround sound - One worker used my personal table as a saw table and cut thru it. - Had to decide on cabinets with a small text of a picture. They still didn't end up being right- because how can you tell on a picture what the cabinet actually is. - Shelves not being built to specifications - Glass fixtures broken and left - Broke my fireplace glass - Broke one of my corbels to go above my stove and then hid it in the pantry- and never replaced or installed. - Not installing veneer properly and having it peel off - Worker touching live wires and blowing circuits. - Mis-measement of flooring by double the square footage. - Left my gas turned on in my laundry room with nothing hooked up to it for a week till I finally figured out where the smell was coming from, right across the hall from my babies room. FYI- you can suffocate to death. There was no real supervision as they had all the hard workers, working on Property Brother Jobs. I spent over $150,000 and $104,000 was labor alone. The insult to injury is when they sent over the "accountant" for payment and told us they could wrap the job up in a couple more days easy. Needless to say, two weeks later I had to tell them to leave. I needed my space, sanity and life back. Not one apologized for the inconvenience or any of the small or major problems but they had no problem harassing us for the final payment so they could finish other jobs. Save your money and time and fine someone else. They did have a few good workers. My tile turned out great. That's about all I can say. Totally unprofessional and don't know how to actually run a business! The salt in the wound was when I was told that it was my fault it didn't turn out the way I wanted because I was really the project manager. Contracting work in a large home--especially a major remodel and complete inside painting job in a large home like ours-- is a complicated process. There are so many moving parts, so many things that you want to do for the house, and so many changes (both in terms of what you want and supply issues and subcontracting issues). Kingdom Homes navigated all these things very well. I think what I liked most about them is that they were very responsive, always heard and addressed our concerns -- professionally and quickly. Brian, Shane and everyone else they had on the team were straightforward and complete in their answers, suggestions and providing of options. What I also liked? And I know this might seem a bit odd: they would always acknowledge where there might have been a mistake on their part, and they would fix it right away -- and they never engaged in the blame game. My family and I recently had a bathroom renovation done by this company. The demo and the renovation went well; very happy with the process. What was disappointing was when we developed a problem with the shower leaking. The company came several times and could not find the problem. After several texts and calls were not returned I hired another company to get their opinion. The new plumbing contractor found the problem in five minutes: the grout was not done correctly. One of the guys told me I shouldn't DYI projects like this; he thought I grouted the shower myself (!) Overall, Kingdom is a decent company with good people, but the follow-through, i.e. standing behind their work, was not great in my book. We need to have additional remodeling done such as floors, windows and another bathroom, but we will use other contractor(s) for the work. read more

We have a wall we need reframed, as well as installing a fireplace, mantle, the whole ordeal. We had them come out twice to chat it over. They gave us a quote that we accepted, signed, and sent back to get on the schedule. After that, there was barely any contact or communication. Now, over a month later, they call to tell us they aren't taking on any more 'small' jobs and will not be taking on ours. No communication, no idea that they would just drop us after over a month! OVER A MONTH. Now we are back at square one, months after our initial contact with nothing. We are in a home that needs many more renovations, including a full kitchen and full master bath remodel that we were hoping to stick with the same contractor, but it will definitely NOT be Kingdom Home after this. Terrible, terrible business, just completely reprehensible. Clearly they only care about the money and not the clients. read more

Don't waste your time. They are terrible at communication. My initial phone call to them took almost a week to respond to for scheduling an estimate for a home addition and more. I initially had an estimate scheduled (that was over 2 weeks out from when I called due to availability) that I had to reschedule due to getting Covid. I called them almost 3 days before the appt to reschedule. Appt was pushed out another 2 weeks. The afternoon before the scheduled appt, I received a call that I wasn't able to take from them. I called right back the following morning around 8am but had to leave a message. My appointment was at 10am. Hours went by and no one ever showed up. I called their office and no answer but left a voicemail. It's been almost 5 days and not a single message from them. Even tried to text them. If they can't even answer the phone before starting a project, why would I think it would be any different during construction? I work in this industry and think this behavior is a horrible representation of general contractors in this valley. read more

Kingdom home remodel did an AMAZING job on my kitchen. They listened to all of my wants and needs and were even willing to do all the custom work to achieve what I was looking for in my kitchen. It is now the most stunning kitchen I've ever seen and I am in real estate and I sell around 200 homes a year so I see a lot of houses LOL. These guys are amazing especially Brian his response times were ridiculously fast it wouldn't matter if I texted him in the morning or at night he was right on top of things. I rated them two stars because they fixed the quality issues for the most part. It was a small guest bathroom (10 ft by 8 ft) remodel that started November 6th 2021and finished early March 2022. Yes...4 months long renovation that cost about $13.5k. The quality was so bad the owner Brian came out to look because the original tile installer did such a horrible job installing the mosaic tile that they had to rip it out and start over with a mosaic tile specialist. The first tile installer also damaged my new tub as he didn't protect it from dropping tools and him working inside it. Finally the second installer did a really good job redoing the tile and he made sure the walls were true. Anything that was done required multiple fixes...including paint. Their paint guy (who also installs drywall) is horrible at painting. Multiple times of trying to have him fix the paint that I finally gave up and fixed it myself. When I pointed out paint runs he just took his bare hand and wipe it away...just can't make that stuff up. Thankfully I didn't pay extra to have the bathroom door repainted...can't imagine how that would turn out. I spent half a day prepping the paint area and removing the splattered thinset to make a smooth paint job. You would think since time is money that they would build quality into doing it right the first time but sadly...no. The motto of the business should be "we'll mess it up but will make it right" sadly not all things can be made 100%. While they buffed out the nicks and scratches in the tub it will never be 100%...still has dull spots. The tub was installed with a little bit more slope than normal so my desire to have frameless shower doors had to change and cost me an additional $750. Levi the floor installer did a good job and fixed a lot of quality issues left by the electrical installation. You would think they would catch their own quality issues but sadly no that was on me. Thankfully I have a background in quality assurance. I expect things to go sideways on any project but this was self induced by the quality of people that are doing the work...poor workmanship reflects poorly on the reputation of the business and damages the brand. I was upfront with them during the start of this project...how this project goes determines if they would be invited to quote on the master bath remodel. That remodel is expected to run additional money as it is a much larger job and they are not invited to bid. Good luck if you choose them and I am hopeful your project goes more smoothly than mine. read more

Had them come out to look at a 4x4 shower repair job (tile). They ball-parked it @ around $1000 or so. Estimate they emailed was over $6000. They said there was miscommunication and they'd get us a new estimate...that was over 2 months ago. I also had them come out and give me an estimate for a full kitchen remodel....I'm still waiting on that too. read more

Kingdom started a renovation on our kitchen in January 2020, started off great. Staff was very kind, about 2 weeks into the job it went down hill fast. Originally we wanted to expand our kitchen but after doing a FULL demo of all the walls, it wouldn't be possible with the pitch of the stairs, support beams and plumbing. I'm No expert, but not sure why they continued to take all the walls down once they noticed issues. So the rebuild began and people were not showing up when scheduled, they had a guy do our texture and window that wasn't qualified, they had to outsource the installation of our cabinets after they were put in upside down twice, support for island not cut correctly so they had to glue in small pieces, support of island installed upside down, counters not cut evenly, poor finish on window trim, electrical issues, door frames painted wrong color. There was at least a list of 25 things that had gone wrong. We ended up meeting with the owner to correct the mistakes and he assured us everything would be fixed. They ended up re-drywalling, bringing in a new carpenter to fix the window and floor boards and trim, everything was re painted, new electrician came and fixed the lighting and outlets. Although the kitchen is beautiful the entire process was a nightmare and dragged on. We learned later that they were doing a property brothers project at the same time so the tradesmen scheduled for our house got pulled to that job. Also our project manager quit kingdom during our renovation, our house was his last project, so they used him as a scapegoat for all the issues. Bottom line this company has done beautiful work but if they have a current Property Brothers job avoid like the plague. A year later and cabinets are already covered in chips :( read more

The entire team at Kingdom home was great. Right from the start, our representative Seth had things in hand ensuring that he understood our goals, outcomes, and design considerations. It was a very smooth process and mid-way BANG COVID SHELTER IN PLACE. The Kingdom Home team did not miss a beat and adjusted making us feel safe and comfortable. All the tradespeople were professional and the project manager (Heber) stated a schedule and kept us informed as things unfolded and were very responsive to our questions and any items needing attention. The project came in on cost and schedule and for this family that is not our past experience with other outfits. Every aspect of this company was incredible for us and our family. We had our entire kitchen gutted, entire house painted, new baseboards and a new fireplace. The whole process was smooth and Seth was extremely communicative with any change orders or issues discovered during the process. Brian was incredible as well and always kept us updated. Everyone that was at our house was extremely nice and professional to our family. Alex, Jeff, Johnny and Juan kept us updated on the day to day process. The only reason they get 1 Star is because Lincoln was always very nice and the only one that was willing to fix the things they totally screwed up! The master bathroom that was supposed to take 2 weeks took 2 months. They had to do the glass in the shower 2 times because they cut it wrong, blamed it on us, and it still leaks. A bunch of the vertical grout lines in our shower are cracking and part of the grout in the floor of the shower is as well. They had to redo the grout in our tile floor 3 times because it kept chipping up and then redid it with the wrong grout color, which they blamed us for. They finally hired someone to come in to remove & redo the grout with a saw which ruined some of our new tiles, but at least the grout never chipped! It was not a good experience! Their projects may look really good but they don't do quality work. If you are smart you will stay away! read more

When we needed our bathroom upgraded, we decided so skip doing it ourselves and save some stress. The company is well run, and you can tell the office is organized and prepared for large and small projects. Our original consultation was easy and quick. Morgan was on time, professional, and thorough. She was honest about timelines and expectations moving forward. We received prompt and complete follow up. We were provided a shopping list with details and purchase amounts to be prepared. There were only a few things that were left off on accident that I had to run out and get later. These items were small and normal for projects like this. Our PM Chris was on time, and kept us up to date through texting on when he was to arrive. While we do not mind an early start time, there were some mornings we were told 7:30am, but no work commenced until 9 or later. We were satisfied with all sub contractors except one that was responsible for much of the demolition. He came without many tools of his own (this appeared to be his first job with KH) and was uncommunicative. Certain features of the shower that were agreed upon were not done, and when I asked why, he said he could not understand English despite having a conversation earlier. Concern over a small element in our shower (a small niche) became more of an issue than it should have. The subcontractor did not include it, and told us it was not possible in our bathroom. Fortunately, this was not correct as the tile/drywall subcontractor unilaterally rectified the issue. It felt as if this specific subcontractor was rushing so that he could hand the project over to tile/drywall. We were told a few other things that I knew to be untrue as well in an effort to keep on timeline. Despite that last paragraph, we were very satisfied with 95% of the experience. I found the company to be affordable and competitive in terms of pricing and quality of work. I would recommend the company and hire them again when we decide to tackle another room of our house. read more

Review based on estimating process. Took off work during a scheduled window in which a very young sounding estimator was supposed to arrive. He called, stating he was running late and I said I would wait for him to arrive. Of course 30 minutes past the window I had to call him and ask where he was... apparently he needed another hour. I said a big "No Thanks!." Just imagine, if these guys are your contractors what other white lies and pisspoor schedule management would have done to your life. read more

This is the second time I've used KH and they do a great job. They previously installed a fireplace, mantle, and 10x10 stone wall in my great room. This last project was replacement of my 11' island countertop. It ALL happened in one day and looks gorgeous! And I didn't have any clean up after! An absolute terrible experience if it wasn't for Morgan this would have been a 1 star. The estimator just stopped responding and the front office made no effort to help. This experienced honestly broke my heart. I was referred to Kingdom Home by a friend whose parents had worked with them. I had a rather large project (basically a whole home remodel, minus 2 bedrooms). I have never remodeled a home before and wanted a positive experience, as I plan on doing my others in the future, so I decided to focus on service and quality rather than price. Basically I was looking for a company that would be professional, responsive, and understanding to the first time experience. I really liked that Kingdom Home had pretty much everything I could need including design which I had not initially planned on but after checking out their website was interested in pursuing with them. They were my first call as they were a personal referral. I contacted them in early Aug 2021. They had 2 estimators come out within a week and I had an initial bid within 3-4 days, an extremely fast turn around. I did let them know during the initial walk through that I would be shopping the project just to make sure I was dotting my i's and crossing my t's. They seemed very understanding of that, I let them know I would be making a decision by September 1st. After receiving other offers I decided to go with Kingdom Homes. I sent an email advising my lead estimator I was ready to sign the contract however I wanted to add to my project and had a few questions about the design process. I received no response. Since I know they are in high demand I waited about a week, then called and left a message. This continued for all of September, after 3 unanswered voicemails, and 2 unanswered emails, I sent 1 final attempt asking if they were too busy for the project and if I should go with my second choice, who had been patiently waiting the entire time. I then got a text message that included the design team on it. Morgan (an angel) reach out to me immediately and answered several of my question not only for the design portion but also questions I never got answered from my estimator. I got the design bid and was just waiting to hear back from my estimator about the changes I had requested and to update my estimate which had expired (the estimates expire after 30 days). I sent my lead estimator 3 more emails to which he only responded to 1, answering some but not all of the question and not updating the estimate per my request. Upon Morgan's suggestion I called the front office to explain the situation and possibly get things moving along and received no call back. Typically when you call you get a voicemail and they will send you an automated text saying they got your message and will contact you ASAP. I received the text message but never received a call back from the front office or my lead estimator. read more

Kingdom Home remodel has exceeded our expectation for what we thought our garage would look like. Doing a home remodel can be a big headache and it's something we've never done yet want to do. We wanted to start with something small that we could handle like our garage. We did epoxy with chips, fresh paint, and hung some racks for extra storage. Kingdom home made the whole process start to finish so smooth. Because of the professionalism and how detailed the company is we will be using them to make some updates to our home and finally do the remodeling we've been wanting to do. Brian Horner and his team at Kingdom Home made our first ever extensive renovation a great experience. From the moment he came to check out our home and give us a quote we knew were were in good hands. When he promised that he would take care that everything was done to our satisfaction it felt genuine and he followed through 100%. We did our whole entire kitchen including all new cabinets, lighting, counters and appliances as well as a new fireplace. Everything was done meticulously with the inside cabinets exceeding our expectation for our family's specific needs ie: lazy susan, trash & recycling, pull own drawers for pet food, pots & pans storage etc. We also did a whole master bath reno which included doubling the size of our bathroom and adding height to by lifting the ceiling. They also installed a double shower, double vanity and an infrared sauna. It really is a dream master bathroom spa. During the reno his team discovered that we had major damage to our main sewer line pipe. He immediately had a team of experts on site to take care of it. This major hiccup was dealt with by Brian and he took the time out of his evening to explain in detail what needed to be done, how it would be done and what the cost would be. What could have been a very stressful situation ended up being a blessing as it was because their thorough investigation that lead to the discovery of the problem. Despite taking several days to fix and re-pipe the main line this did not affect the timeline of our renovation in the least. He also renovated our offie and mudroom creating a wall to separate the two and adding a barn door and secret sliding bookcase which he custom built. He is also a woodworking genius! The quality of Kingdom Homes work is what everyone is looking for in a contracting company. The fact that the whole team is comprised of genuinely good people is a rarity in any large company and yet time and again no matter how big or small the task every single team member was talented, thoughtful, neat, trustworthy and kind. read more

I called this company based on their reviews and boy was I surprised just how terrible they are. I had a leak in my shower and they had to rip out my shower, tub and all surrounding walls. I was calling around to have someone come out and give me a BID to have this corrected when I called Kingdom Home Remodeling. I explained the situation and the lady that answer the phone said that they are to busy for "small projects" and tried to give me the number for a HANDYMAN! Small project? Clearly she was not getting what I was saying because this is no small project. My wife and I used Kingdom Home Remodel & Repair to makeover our home. They took the stress out of home renovations. It was simple from the start. When we initially met, we did a walk-through of our house where my wife and I presented our ideas. They took measurements and notes. My wife and I wanted to purchase some of the materials with our credit card to get cash-back rewards. This was not a problem. We spent a couple of weeks picking flooring and tile as well as vanities, toilets, faucets and anything else we needed. Their team was able to pick the flooring and tile up from the store. Soon after was the demolition...out with the old and in with the new. They have established a great team of professionals that met with me and my wife each day of the project to seek our approval of that day's work they completed as well as to discuss any concerns that arose in construction. The remodel of the entire home took 4 weeks. Each member of the team was kind, respectful, helpful and genuine. Contacted them for a tile job for our two bedrooms. Received a quote, but we had to delay due to personal dealings. We communicated with Seth, and were pushing out the project just a bit. Contacted him to get the ball rolling, was told they were booked for October, but they "could definitely start in November though" was waiting to hear on dates in November, then after waiting for a response, received a text stating " Honestly, I touched base with our tile guys and this job is too small for them to even be able to get to it this year so I think we are going to have to pass on the opportunity" Wow...I guess I misread the part from the business that states "no job too big or too small". Very disappointing, but was able to find another company that didn't deem the job "too small" read more

My husband and I are beyond appreciative for the amazing work Kingdom Home did in our house recently. We had a custom fireplace mantel installed, art lighting added in our dining room, and an LED backlit mirror coupled with new can lighting in our guest bathroom. We searched for a reliable contracting company for quite some time and did plenty of research. Thankfully, we found Kingdom Home, hired them, and didn't regret it once. Gerardo was our project manager and he was AMAZING! He was always punctual, professional, and so very hardworking. Not once did he ever stop his work until we were completely happy with the results. His communication with us was first class--we always knew what to expect and in what time frame. It's not everyday you encounter an individual with the work ethic that Gerardo possesses. We're so grateful to you, Gerardo! The other impressive aspect about this company is the attention to detail and pride in their work. Prior to our project's initiation, a team of gentlemen did a walk through of our home to answer any questions and concerns we had in addition to explaining everything that would be taking place. We did not know at the time, but one of those men (Brian H) happened to be one of the owners. It isn't everyday you encounter a company led by people that take the amount of pride and time shown and invested by Brian. I just had my remodel finished this afternoon and I definitely recommend Brian and his fantastic crew. Everyone did such an amazing job. Brian has a calm demeanor and communication was top notch. We were made aware of extra costs beforehand and notified promptly of what was happening every few days. The crew was responsible & respectful, cleaned up after themselves and cleaned up my home every day after that days work had been completed. We are so happy with everything and how it turned out.
