I came in for the 30% off Chaco sale. Be warned it is on select classic styles only. I was not told the difference in the styles. I ended up making a return trip this morning to switch out sale sandals for a pair made for my foot type. $30 difference to the tune of $107 instead of $79 as advertised. Their saving grace was a sweet man named Wes and a lady who knew what type I needed. Her name was Victoria. If you go in, ask for one of them to save you time and expense of having to make a return trip. They know their shoes!!! My first salesperson could use a few lessons from them. Visited with my kids, sister in law and niece. My niece had Pam helping her with jeans and boots and I must say she was fantastic! Everyone that works there makes you feel welcomed. My son got a hat and the young man in the men's section (wish I knew his name) was very helpful too. He put the hat on my sons head backwards and brought a big grin to his little face. Great store. Don't EVER get a Henna tattoo from this place!!! It is NOT Henna ink!!! They use regular black ink that will stain everything it comes in contact with within 2 days. Including the rest of the skin surrounding the tattoo. It bleeds and I have used everything under the sun including GASOLINE to try and get it off and i can't. They SUCK! And the fact they're doing this to people knowing this happens is very sad. I've tried calling them about it and their phone rings 4 times and goes to a mailbox that's too full to leave a message. Probably because there's so many messages from people bitching about whatever the fuck they use on their customer's skin. So sad! read more

This was my first visit to a Western boot store so I didn't know what to expect and I certainly didn't know anything about boot styles and what would suit my taste. I'm happy to say that the staff here is so friendly and helpful. They know everything about their boots, even the history of the brands and how each boot is made. I spent A LOT of time trying on, changing my mind, asking for advice and the woman that helped me was ever so patient. The gentleman that helped my husband preoccupied my 5 year old son while I continued to go back and forth on my decision. The customer service was so amazining, in fact, we had NO IDEA that we were keeping them open 45 minutes past their closing time! We never felt rushed and we left the store with a sharp pair of Ariats for the hubby and a gorgeous pair of Lucchesses for me! Thank you to the staff that made this experience memorable! read more

Let me start off by saying this is by far the largest boot store I've ever seen with the largest selection I've ever seen. Whether your looking for Durango ariats or Anderson bean or lucchese boots they have a wide selection to fit anyone's need or budget. Staff was very friendly and the two guys were very knowledgeable (didn't catch they're name) the tall younger one would like pop in at the most awkward moment and hit me with facts from any boot I was looking at which I appreciated but was just kinda awkward. They have a great selection. They are fairly priced. I only give 3 stars because I hated the fact that the employees follow you around like you're at a car lot. While shopping for boots, I dont need someone over my shoulder the whole time. I was even "handed off" to another employee when the lady who originally started following me went on break. I do appreciate help when needed, and if I need help I will ask. This happens every time I've ever been in there. It makes shopping much less enjoyable. I was trying to find wedding boots and my fiance and I couldnt turn around without the employee right on our heels. It wasnt just us, it was all customers that were boot shopping. I never leave this store empty-handed! I love the modern clothing choices and I always have to try on at least a few pairs of boots...they just have soooo many cute ones. I also love that every time I walk in the store it looks different. There is always a new display and new products....not to mention the bathroom is THE COOLEST THING EVER. I know that sounds weird, but you have to see it to know what I am talking about. The sink looks like it is custom made, with spurs holding the soap containers and bejeweled adornments throughout. The persons were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They even size your foot which is hard to find anymore. My wife has very expensive taste, but that didn't scare this lady. She sized and stretched countless boots, offered her opinion on colors and designs, and was so friendly. Stages West is the best Western Store in Pigeon Forge area. They have a great selection of everything from Boots to Clothes in all sizes. The boots were organized by size which made it easy to shop and try on many different boots at one time. The customer service was very good. At one point my wife had 2 people actively helping her. The interaction of the staff was great amongst customers and themselves. We were first time shoppers for boots. They took the time to educate us on what a boot should feel like and not feel like. We visited several shops and didn't get the exemplary customer service that we did here. They even took time to stretch my wife's boots to they fit just right. They do match competitor pricing as long as it's the same boot. We saved $40 by doing that. I'd definitely go back to this store next time I am in the area. I'd even recommend buying from them online through Amazon. read more

I ordered a pair of Miss Me jeans via Amazon. It came from Stages. They didn't fit correctly so I returned them. When I called the customer service rep said it could take up to 30 days for a refund. It took one day from time of receipt of shipping them back. When I received the jeans they were packaged perfectly and legit. I am so impressed with the customer service and timely turn around I will be ordering direct from Stages even tho I live in Cali. read more

Went in today and fell in love. I have a SUPER wide feet (4EEEE) and can NEVER buy boots off the shelf. Until today. Also bought a hat. The top of the boot had trouble fitting my large calf and they are going to stretch. Awesome place with lots of hot men in boots, jeans and hats. YUM! read more

Buyer Beware! This store sells boots at full retail price and refuses to give refunds. My wife wanted me to return the boots I bought her but the store stated they only provide exchanges or store credit. There were no signs posted indicating this policy. I could not find other items I desired to purchase and am now stuck with a "worthless" store credit. Incidentally, I subsequently learned that the boot store down the parkway towards Gatlinburg sells three pair of boots for the price of one, and the boot store across the parkway from Stages West regularly sells the same name brand boots at a lower price than Stages West. read more

Cannot recommend more highly. Very friendly staff and 10K pairs of beautiful boots!! The staff doesn't work on commission and therefore isn't pushy -- they take the time to truly fit your foot, and even customize your boots with steaming / stretching. This store is amazing! I've never seen so many cowboy boots- I've purchased 2 pair and they are stylish and comfy! They carry really good quality traditional Western items, like boots, hats and belt buckles; but they also have the cutest new fashions! Their prices are really reasonable, and I always leave there with quite a few new dresses, tops or jeans. The best part is that the styles are on trend but very unique to the store- you can't find outfits like this anywhere else! Plus (and I'm actually writing this because I attended one last week), they have concerts there! Last year they put on a big addition and put in a stage. They call it Backstage at Stages West. Last week I saw Tyler Farr (country star) play there- it was such a cool venue to watch a concert. And of course I left with 2 new dresses- one was actually a duplicate of one I already got from there in a different color. Two weeks ago I ordered a pair of Ariat boots for my son off of the website for his birthday. 1 week later the payment still had not cleared and I had not received an email confirmation for shipment. I checked the website for help, and according to their website, if the order is received before 1 (EST) that day the boots are ordered the same day. Shipments do not take more than 10 days and if there is a delay in shipment, you are notified. Well, I was NOT notified of any delay and I was over a week into making my order and my boots were STILL NOT shipped. I finally called last Friday to see if I could get some help, the woman I spoke to could not give me a tracking number, and blamed it all on Ariat (stating that they are such a big company that it takes a long time for shipment). I also have a pair of Ariat boots and they took 3 days to get to my door step. I was told I would have a tracking number by Monday. Monday afternoon had rolled around and I still hadn't heard anything. I finally called to cancel my order, and I told the woman that I wanted to make sure my card was not charged in anyway, after hearing this, she admitted to me she STILL hadn't taken my paperwork off of her desk to contact Ariat!! That same day I found another company to order the same boot (Ariat), they were very friendly and I received the tracking number the next day. I ordered the boots on Monday and they were on our doorstep two days later. read more
