My dentist recommended Dr. Drayer to me several years ago, and I've consistently had positive experiences. Dr. Drayer helped make incredible improvements to my teeth with Invisalign several years ago, and recently fixed my broken retainer and helped me obtain Vivera retainers. I could not have asked for a better experience from Dr. Dryer or his staff. From the first appointment to the big day of getting braces removed, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and informed me of progress along the way. The couple times I had wires break or other issues, I was always told "come right in and we'll take care of it." The price was fair and stated up front. Where to begin? Being in my mid-fifties, and given the severe bone loss and gum recession, especially in my lower jaw, no one wanted to treat me. "Liability." Three other practices declined treatment because my case was so problematic and high risk. I was told that some of my teeth would fall out, that it was only a matter of time. One said it was imminent. Jeff Drayer took a big chance taking me on. We're 9 months into treatment, and things are "moving" along better than expected. They are so so careful with my teeth. The staff is compassionate and kind and super professional. The office is very clean and is very well run. My appointment times are honored with no more than a 5-minute wait. I can recommend this practice without any reservations whatsoever. I am very grateful to Dr. Drayer for the big professional risk he has taken in accepting me as a patient and the trust we have for each other. She was kind, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Dr. Drayer at each appointment was also wonderful with bedside manner and eagerness to give the best results. They have the worst receptionist who don't have any manners especially this one in particular who's constantly canceling appointments. They are like scammers over there I can't afford them and they are draining and time consuming. I really can't stand them. Go at your own risk super frustrating. Dr Dryer is the best orthodontist in town, we come from norwalk to Stamford and do not mind the traffic and commute. Dr Dryer has always accomodated my busy schedule and he is very personable and humble. He's staff is great about all insurance questions and good comunication skills. We never have to wait long to be seen. Sometimes when I call Dr Dryer answers the phone, he is so pleasent on the phone and helps at scheduling the appointments to make it easier to be scheduled. First visit, we arrived on time. Was just a consult. Wasnt brought in until 30min+ later. Not a ton of seating room when more people kept coming in. Dr was polite, opened a sterile package of tools that looked dirty/old wasn't happy at all. According to the Dr my child needs extensive work due to his narrow jaw. If you need an orthodontist, this is the place to go. Dr. Drayer is very knowledgeable, highly respectful, neat, experienced and efficient. He treated my son and although his case was severe; all my son's problems were resolved, including an overbite, crowded teeth and periodontal irritation. I had applied for front desk coordinator position at this facility and when i spoke to Dr. Drayer he offered paid training for the day, so i decided to go to see what type of environment it is and to see if i liked it. Once the day was finally over i asked the DR about the pay for training and he seemed like a very nice person but once i asked the question his whole attitude changed and he said i would receive the payment in the mail. Well i am still waiting and that was 4 months ago, which i consider very unethical on his behalf as a business owner. read more

Dr Dryer is a very rude and oblivious orthodontist. Him and his assistant do not use sanitary equipment and do not care about how they treat their patients. I have had to unfortunately deal with them for the past two years and I'm glad my braces have come off. The front desk receptionists are unaware of most insurances and cannot help with anything. I truly think you should stay away from this orthodontist!!! He needs more training and needs to learn manners and respect. WE'RE PAYING HIM. WE deserve respect. read more

My permanent retainer came off in less than one month for no apparent reason. I asked for a refund, as I had left US a few days after the retainer was placed, and Dr Drayer agreed to do so initially. However he NEVER ACTUALLY ISSUED REFUND!! He ignored all my follow up mails since. I paid $225 for the permanent retainer that only lasted for three weeks. read more

Both of my daughters have had their orthodontic work done by Dr Drayer with amazing results. He is fantastic at communicating with my children as well as with me. His prices are very reasonable - especially given we are in lower Fairfield County. Whenever we've had a wire or bracket break he was able to fit us in right away. His assistant Iryna is very nice and is always very good with the patients. My girls adore her and Dr. Drayer. I have referred 5 other people there who have also used him and have been equally satisfied. He is honest and won't recommend anything that isn't absolutely necessary as a part of the orthodontic treatment plan. His office hours have been very accommodating for our hectic schedule. We are generally not there for any longer than 15- 20 minutes for check up appointments since they are so efficient.
