I emailed Kris on Monday and needed the mugs by Thursday -- he responded just 25 minutes later with answers to all of my questions, and voilá! After some emails being exchanged about photos, proofs, and colors, we were set. He sent us a photo of what the mug would look like, and we were pleased with it, as he got the colors we wanted spot on. By Wednesday, we received all the mugs, and the invoice was sent to us too. We paid $197.05 to ship it back home and was told by a female supervisor that it would require additional air packing on both sides of the frame, and we agreed with her. The female clerk ringing up the transaction did not know what she was doing and had to ask for assitance multiple times. I asked the clerk multiple times before leaving and she reassured me that the additional air packing would be added to the box, to ensure the item would be packaged appropriately and arrive intact. We received the package yesterday and the frame is scratched and damaged, the glass all shattered. When we opened the box the air packing that we were promised WAS NOT inside the box, hence why the frame was not only shattered but the shattered glass also scratched up the custom frame. I called the store directly this morning and initially spoke to Jimmy. Jimmy, you were very pleasant, this review has nothing to do with you. He told me the owner would contact me and he did. What is REALLY disturbing is that from the moment I answered my phone the owner was yelling at me, berating me, and blaming me for the damaged item. First of all, you are a business owner, act like one. He DID NOT AT ALL listen to what I was trying to explain to him regarding the fact that the frame was not packaged with the proper packing. All he did was argue with me and did not offer any assistance towards a solution to this problem at any time during this phone call. I cannot believe that owners like him get away with such behavior, lack of professionalism, and still run a business. Why am I doing this review? So other people do not experience what we did. Choose wisely before doing business here. Yes, it is a fragile item and I run a risk in shipping it. However, this is their business and this is what they do on a daily basis. They failed to include the air packing, the box was not tagged with "Fragile" stickers, which ultimately resulted in my frame being damaged and shattered. The owner failed to even admit that, let alone take responsibility for it.
