Was informed that IT Resumes were a specialty and had them done many times. Received a 10 page document to complete. It was an unformatted, hodge podge of questions that had little or no relevancy to the industry (didn't make me very comfortable with the future handling of my resume). Attempted to complete it but by the 2nd hour, reached out to the owner about the irrelevant nature of the questions. Was promoted told, "I can't help you unless you provide more". I took another couple of hours and began rewriting all my job history for the response, but a second review by the owner was "need more info". By this time, it was clear that I could write the darn thing myself as "I" had done all the work already. Found a format I liked, started writing and completed a very respectable 1st draft. The service had not started the project yet so therefore I requested a cease work - and a refund of the $600 dollars (yes, $600 dollars for me to write my own resume). My request to terminate was ignored and shockingly, a resume showed up in my inbox a day later. Did not open, responded back that I had requested a refund yet was told the payment was NONREFUNDABLE. Nothing EXECUTIVE or PROFESSIONAL about that. Needless to say, I'm pursuing a refund with my credit card company and have initiated a case in small claims court. I will spend more money than I paid for sure, but am not willing to let the issue fall by the wayside. Others might have had a better experience, but mine only rates a 1 star. I'll circle back with any updates. M

Most of which were located in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. I came across 7 Nightingales in the middle of my search and they set the bar high. Both, Sarahs' and Kerris' bios were quite impressive. The website was also very easy to navigate and overall, pleasing to the eye. During my searches, I noticed a lot of other companies that highlighted the founder, but creatively worded that one of their many "qualified" writers would we working with you. That didn't really sit well with me. It's almost like a bait and switch... So with that said, I liked that there are just two people at 7 Nightingales. You definitely get what you see, with no surprises... As much as I liked 7 Nightingales, their prices were just a little out of my comfort zone. I don't have a college degree and I'm in a job transition due to recently moving to South Carolina. So I just wasn't sure if it was worth me spending that kind of money on a resume service for the type of job I'm looking for. However, after interacting with 2 other companies, I came to my senses real quick!
