They proceeded to take all the stuff to the customer service and had us wait for an hour for them to check the cameras. We showed them the bank statements and everything. We did not steal anything and it was ridiculous for them to assume when a worker was talking to us the whole time we scanned and payed for everything. They checked the cameras and saw that my friend had put the receipt in the garbage crumpled up. They had us dig through the garbage to find it. In the process many others walked out without receipts and even the alarms going off without being checked or stopped by anyone. Do your jobs better. Well, it's better than Bayers Lake…read more .... I should probably elaborate on that then, eh? Look, I'm not a fan of these huge sprawling shopping districts. I'd much rather a mall where I can park and walk around. I know, I know, half of these stores wouldn't fit into your typical mall but I have to think the carbon footprint would be lower. Not that I'm going to start an environmental rant but form a pure user perspective, it's frustrating. It's park, go into store, walk out, drive to next store, park, and repeat. With all those reservations, Dartmouth Crossing does do better than some other shopping areas. For one thing, there are some sidewalks! And not one, but two, bus routes that service the area! They have also tried to create a "shopping district" within the larger area that focuses on clothing (mostly women's) in a "Main street" approach which is a nice change of pace. Areas for improvement: some of the intersections that are four-way stops should probably be converted to lights. Some of the "newer" sections don't have crosswalks - get on that.

After the Bayer's lake fiasco of driving, somewhere some engineer became smart! Getting into, around and out of Dartmouth Crossing is a breeze, turning lanes everywhere, little strips malls everywhere, box stores, and chains have there own little (large, humongous, gigantic) area. Not to mention the ten different ways in and out of the park. Driving through here is bliss, unlike Bayer's Lake where I'm pretty sure the Devil resides! Dartmouth Crossing you get an A+++++ in my books!

Don't go in expecting to be greeted immediately at the door and assisted throughout your entire shopping experience as you are at the BR flagship stores because it's not going to happen- it is an outlet after all. The quality of the outlet line is slightly lower than the flagship line, but still on par with Gap or better. I am glad that it's an outlet, because not only are the prices really good, but I actually prefer their selection to that of the main store in the Shopping Center, which I feel is geared towards women about 15-20 years older than me. Being so close I've learned to wait for good sales and have scored some major deals. My only issue with the store is that I find the turnover of clothes can be a little slow, but I find the get enough new pieces in regularly to keep me coming back.
