I've been in the middle of renovating a rental property, and I noticed the AC was no longer cooling the air. So, Wes came by yesterday to fix my malfunctioning AC. He was very prompt and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem (a nearby ant mound shorting out the power line connection, imagine that) and fixed it, all within 30 minutes. I was fully expecting to replace the AC, especially since the unit is 16 years old. But I only paid a very small fraction of the cost to get a fully working AC. I emailed Stanley A/C late in the evening explaining our problem - Wes emailed back at 7am but I was still sleeping and the phone rang 30 mins later. He said he would arrive between 2:30 and 3 and he did. He gave a courtesy call when he was 20 mins away. I had a feeling of what the problem was and Wes confirmed my suspicion and cleaned out the overflow tube. He also checked out the entire system and was at our house for over an hour - for the grand total of $85. Thank You Wes for a job well done! Your number is now in my contacts list. read more

Completely frustrated with this company. They were out to fix the screaming noise on my ac and after checking it out for about 5 minutes, said I needed a new a motor. I asked him if it still made the noise after he replaced it if he would swap it out and take it back or fix it right and he promised that either way, he wouldn't charge me unless that's what it needed. Totally bogus! Hour after he left sound started again, called no answer for three days, left messages. Guy disappeared. Customer service at its worst. I felt like I got taken for 400 bucks. No one answers my calls so I had to write an email and this post. Not at all professional, thorough or honest IMO after my experience. Use at your own risk. read more

I called them once and got an immediate response and repair and was very happy about that. For that I give 2 stars. But since then I've tried repeatedly to contact him, both via texting and calling, and I get no response or calls back. It's as if he has dropped of the face of the planet. He apparently does not want future business. read more

I've waited over a year to write my review in hopes the my irritation would lessen. It hasn't. I had Mr. Stanley out to my house a few times. Each time, I felt bamboozled and ripped off. For $150 he is than than willing to tell you that everything is fine. A week later, when your system is still messing up, it will need to be replaced. He will tell you everything is good now (after near $3000) and there's a warranty. But if you have any problems, he will either tell you how to fix it yourself or charge $150 to walk in your door. If he does find a problem, its not going to be covered under the warranty. We had him back to replace the squirrel cage... He quoted $300-500. This time I had done my homework and knew better ($60 part and maybe 20 minutes of work). Since, I have had nothing but issues with the unit. It freezes over constantly when set at 74 with an outside temp in the 80's. The blower unit works intermittently. I'm scared to call him back out. Lord only knows what rip off I'll be looking at. I truly believe after all the money handed over, he merely didn't do the job correctly the first time. Not someone I care to do business with again. read more
