    Update: After…read moreposting my original review, the dealership reached back out to me to discuss my concerns. I want to give credit where it's due. Brian Rios contacted me and worked with me to improve the overall deal. The dealership was able to provide additional value by offering products at their cost, which significantly reduced the markup I was originally concerned about. They also provided a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty for only a small increase in payment, which I felt was a fair compromise and added meaningful value to the purchase. My original concern regarding the lack of upfront disclosure of the aftermarket add-on remains, and I still believe that mandatory charges should be discussed before a customer travels to complete a purchase. However, I appreciate that the dealership took the time to listen to my concerns rather than simply dismissing them. I especially want to thank Brian Rios for his professionalism and willingness to work toward a solution. That effort improved my overall impression of the dealership and showed a commitment to customer satisfaction after the sale. While the experience was not perfect, I do appreciate the steps they took to address my concerns, and I believe that deserves recognition. Original: I recently purchased a vehicle from Brownfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and overall I have mixed feelings about the experience. To start with the positives, they were the only dealership that was able to get me approved after I had tried dealers in Midland and Dallas. The remote buying process was convenient, and my salesman James was responsive and helpful throughout most of the process. However, my biggest issue was transparency regarding pricing. I drove from Midland to Brownfield expecting the deal we had discussed remotely, but I was not informed ahead of time about a mandatory $1,400 "aftermarket" add-on. I only found out about it once I was already sitting in the finance office reviewing paperwork. When I questioned the charge, I was told it covered paint protection and the StarGuard vehicle protection/GPS system, and that it could not be removed. What made this frustrating was not just the charge itself, but the timing of the disclosure. By that point, I had already made the trip, invested the time, and was in a position where walking away was not simple because I genuinely needed a vehicle. I also struggled to understand the value of the paint protection considering the truck already had visible swirl marks and some paint imperfections. Because of the unexpected add-on, I chose to remove the service plan I originally intended to purchase. At the end of the day, I am grateful they were able to get me financed and I do appreciate James' efforts during the process. I just strongly believe dealerships should disclose mandatory add-ons upfront before customers travel or commit significant time to a purchase.

I'm frustrated at the moment because I cannot see the status of my car. Now they are not replying and I have to drive back-and-forth...... please do not waste your time in buying a car that is overpriced... look around people I advise you! Don't settle just because it's easy!

They assured me many many times there was nothing wrong with it besides needing to put on the two back handles and the driver handle. It seemed like a really good deal and they seemed trustworthy, so I bought it with the promise of them installing the handles the next week. It is now November I've dropped about 6000 just trying to keep this car together, it has a blown head gasket, broken valve cover, they put water instead of windshield wiper fluid, the key fab doesn't unlock my doors at all AND i didn't get my handles until the second or third week of October and that's only because i kept calling every Friday. I appreciate him not trying to pressure me to get something more expensive financed or trying to take advantage of me and overcharge or sell me something that had issues. (So far so good p). Anytime I had a question he was always very quick to respond & very helpful. I went in and signed the paperwork he already had prepared & it wasn't 1000 pages, I was finished with it in about 30 mins. Everything was smooth, straightforward & good business. Definitely recommend 10/10. Especially If your a female or someone buying your first car, this is definitely somewhere you can feel safe in knowing that you won't be taken advantage of or lied to. A new Ford Bronco!! I can say that Hamsmith Auto Group went above and beyond my expectations and got us in my daughters dream vehicle for a very fair price! I know because we have searched online and pretty much everywhere for a Bronco! If you're like us when you walk around most dealerships, you dread that salesman speed walking towards you because at that moment you're just there to look and not be hassled! At Hamsmith's dealership it was so different, the owner approached us like a next door neighbor inviting you to a barbecue! They do have sales guys but they all put out that same vibe!! Very chill!! There is another big dealership here in Lubbock that if it weren't for one sales guy that I've bought from multiple times, I wouldn't go there ever because they have 10 salesman you have to walk thru to get inside and all starring me and my wife down like a pack of wild dogs!
