Are they trust worthy and do they over charge compared to market value? Well we have been shopping around for our daughters first car and her dream vehicle happened to be at Hamsmith Auto! A new Ford Bronco!! I can say that Hamsmith Auto Group went above and beyond my expectations and got us in my daughters dream vehicle for a very fair price! I know because we have searched online and pretty much everywhere for a Bronco! If you're like us when you walk around most dealerships, you dread that salesman speed walking towards you because at that moment you're just there to look and not be hassled! At Hamsmith's dealership it was so different, the owner approached us like a next door neighbor inviting you to a barbecue! They do have sales guys but they all put out that same vibe!! Very chill!! There is another big dealership here in Lubbock that if it weren't for one sales guy that I've bought from multiple times, I wouldn't go there ever because they have 10 salesman you have to walk thru to get inside and all starring me and my wife down like a pack of wild dogs! They assured me many many times there was nothing wrong with it besides needing to put on the two back handles and the driver handle. It seemed like a really good deal and they seemed trustworthy, so I bought it with the promise of them installing the handles the next week. It is now November I've dropped about 6000 just trying to keep this car together, it has a blown head gasket, broken valve cover, they put water instead of windshield wiper fluid, the key fab doesn't unlock my doors at all AND i didn't get my handles until the second or third week of October and that's only because i kept calling every Friday. If you don't want to lose your entire savings, DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I call my Sales man....he gives me the run around. I have gone to smaller, pay in house car lots and had cars last a lot longer. Now am down $69.99 for a diagnostic and $904.97 to get it fixed. Two foodies from Houston,…read more We were in Lubbock during the 4th of July weekend. Technically, we were there from a Tuesday to Tuesday. On our way to Lubbock, we noticed that our XC90's AC was not cooling properly. We looked up Volvo dealership in Lubbock and found James Mears Volvo. Their service team member, Mark, told great care of us. The dealership provided a video of the repairs needed and Mark call us to discuss. The parts were available and AC was repaired. After we picked up our XC90, we had some additional warning lights. We call Mark who called us right back after business hours and scheduled a time to return and address the issues. We were surprised that Mark called us back after hours. But he knew that we were trying to get back on the road the next day. What amazing service. We are used to working with DeMontrond Volvo dealership which takes great care of us. It was a relief that there are other reliable Volvo dealerships in Texas. Thank you Mark and James Mears Volvo!
