I've been a loyal customer of Kendall Ford for years, purchasing a range of vehicles including…read moreF-150s, F-250s, Escapes, Broncos, Expeditions, and Explorers. When the dealership was in Kenai, I never had issues with my vehicles, and the service was consistently fantastic and fast. However, since the move to Soldotna, the quality has noticeably declined. My most recent purchase, a 7.3L Super Duty truck, has been plagued with problems. It required Ford's direct involvement to address a major issues, only for another significant problem to arise shortly after. This has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The service and reliability I once trusted from Kendall Ford feel like a thing of the past. It's hard to believe the Kendall is proud of the current state of their dealership, and it's starting to feel like they're more focused on profits than customer satisfaction. Regrettably, after this experience, I'm unlikely to purchase another vehicle from Kendall Ford Soldotna. I hope they can address these issues and return to the high standards they once upheld. Update - December 28, 2025: It's now been over two months since Kendall Ford of Soldotna responded to my review in October, promising General Manager Chris Weber would reach out. I have still not received any call or contact from him, in the past messages was unanswered. To get basic updates from service, I had to involve Ford Customer Service directly. Even then, responses were slow even my agent Lori said she was "still trying to get information from the dealer," with days between updates. The dealership struggled to fix my old truck, when they repair one thing, and something else went wrong, including serious safety concerns like no brakes once, electrical blackouts while driving. It spent much of 2025 in the shop. I ended up trading at Anchorage on December 19, and Jordan there has been exceptionally helpful with great follow-up, he called twice since to check on the new truck. At Soldotna, Dan, Travis, and David in sales are excellent. Dan has always delivered exceptional service, even when the truck died to electrical problems and no one else answered, Dan got me the info and sorted it right away. He delivered where the general manager could not. I've dealt with Kendall since the Kenai days, when service was fantastic. Since the move to Soldotna and merger, communication and service have declined sharply.

I had the intent of initiating a remote buy so that I had wheels for my family and I when we got on the ground. By the time I drew up POA, the truck had been removed from the site, "for inspection," with no word personally. Found out they had found another buyer and didn't bother to save me the time with documentation. Associate didn't think I was "serious enough" when I'd sent him multiple emails asking for specifics for the POA.

This lead me to tear the car down myself and inspect everything. After pulling the engine, i found 4 loose cylinder head bolts, i also ran the numbers on the engine and he LIED about it being a 350 crate motor, it is a 305 and it is not a crate motor. Now it has sat indoors in my garage since pulling the motor and going all through the under carriage. Recently I have given up putting an aftermarket trans in and am swapping in an automatic, I started pulling the interior to plate over the manual shifter hole when low and behold while pulling the dash I find exposed wires which could easily make contact and blow fuses, as well as the odometer being disconnected as well as the wire to the engine light being cut. Will not ever go back, accept to get the car apparaised when I am finished, as he refused to even drop to 9000 cash in hand on his 9500 price saying it's appraised for 9500. Interested to see what he'll have to say on it after it being repaired the right way and there being honesty about what engine is in it.

The service department was closed, but two salesmen, Buddy and Michael, were quick to help. Buddy told us the front door seals on the Wranglers were notorious for this. This was something that two other service advisors in two dealerships in other states had not told us. Buddy found us some leftover materials used to fix the door seals and showed us how to install it. We also looked at the new Wranglers and Michael told us about some new protective coatings that were available. These were some of the friendliest, most honest car salesmen were ever met. And their willingness to help us resolve our leak issue was above and beyond. Thank you, Buddy and Michael! (It poured rain yesterday, and the Jeep did not leak )

The the tire tech balanced the magnesium alloy rims wrong I complained about it. Then I went to Kendall and told the general manager about the issue and he said it was the way ford balances tires with 2 different wheel weights. That is totally wrong I worked for a tire company called belle tire. The general manager needs to be replaced. Quick lane needs better tire technicians. So know I have to pay a different tire company to balance my tires the right way.
