I love that they preserve history in this area. It gives people like me an opportunity to visit and experience a little bit of Americana that would otherwise be lost. This shop has a lot going on. Not quite a one stop shop but pretty close. A lot of variety in this family owned shop. My mom and I bought some old fashioned hard candies. My grandpa was able to find a new handle for his old sledge hammer. We all got a 2025 calendar (yes, I know the year is almost over). It has some cool old timey recipes on each month. I look forward to trying some of them and continuing the historic experience from afar.

We've not bought anything from them in the near past but have bought a statue of a Labrador for my wife. At the time, they did not have anything in Chocolate but my eldest son who was living with us at the time, painted it Chocolate. The Chocolate Lab currently sit on top of a manhole cover on the lake side of our Condo and looks great. Next to the Lab is another statue of an Angel which also came from White House. Folks are very polite and helpful and prices are very reasonable as well.

This place seems to have an endless collection of pots and I enjoyed just walking thru. Many items are pretty pricey, but there are also quite a few nice budget friendly items. There was a also a clearance section containing a pretty good size and selection of merchandise, which is where I found my pots. Although everything is outdoors, it is well organized by style/size. The salesperson greeted me as soon as he saw me and told me that some of the items were on clearance due to minor damage while others had simply been older items that they wanted to clear out. I met the owner as well as a salesperson and both were very nice. They wrapped the larger pot in burlap and placed everything into my car for me. This store also sells outdoor furniture and fountains. I was confused about parking initially when I pulled in, but called and was told to park on the horseshoe driveway (basically wherever). I definitely plan to visit again.

To give credit where credit is due they are generally cheaper than home depot and greenbelt but the service was "meh". In addition the equipment I rented wasnt in the best of condition, a safety disengage switch on it kept falling off. I of course didnt go for the service but was kinda thinking at a little town hardware store there would be a bit more southern hospitality. Regardless, the process for getting and returning the equipment was easy enough so I'd certainly rent from them again.

Their CS support line basically told me to go away. They left me with no solution to the problem nor did they identify the problem when the flooring guy came out to look at the work to be done. Now I have half of a house with sub flooring and half of a house with the original LVP. When I asked the contractor to please put down what they ripped out he laughed at me. I would be fired and homeless if I treated my customers this way. Sad thing is I am old enough to remember the first 5 stores and the quality of CS is horrible compared to the 60's and 70's.

Have ordered 90 yards of mulch, fill dirt and topsoil/compost mix for garden beds. The mulch was perfectly clean - no rocks, limbs, plastic etc... and the topsoil mix just arrived and it's beautiful. Our landscape will definitely appreciate it. Prices for product and delivery are competitive. Delivery is very respectful of property and doesn't leave a mess in the road.
