Amazingly about 20 minutes later they were at our door. I explained what had happened and that we had to leave soon. They figured out how they could do what needed to be done. And we left. When we returned the carpet had been thoroughly cleaned, and furniture was up on blocks. We were so grateful. It took some days to completely dry, but there was no odor. Now, 5 days later, the carpet is perfect. They called to follow up with us. The staff was very professional, the job was well done, and we are very appreciative of the unofficial senior citizen/emergency discount they gave us. I stumbled upon Thumbtack and found Hambly and Sons. So glad they responded to my request! It was super easy to hire them using Thumbtack and then their office contacted me to schedule the cleaning. They showed up on time, didn't take very long to complete the job and THEY moved the big "stuff" (furniture etc). When they were done the furniture was placed on foam blocks in the same position as before. The two gentlemen that showed up were very friendly and professional, didn't try to sell me on anything. Carpets look amazing and pricing is very reasonable!

I asked politely for (one of) the owners to call me back but they never did. Total waste of time. Due to the delay, I had to rip out all my carpet for fear of mold since it had been just over 48 hrs.
