This experience was a mixed bag. The good: quick responses, fair pricing, and the salesperson Kelly was very helpful. The finished roof looks good, but it hasn't rained yet so I don't know if it leaks. The bad: the roofing crew literally removed a vent and then covered it up. Didn't ask anyone, didn't know what it was for, just decided on their own to cover up a needed vent for a summer kitchen. Also ripped the screen on the back patio. No one told me that those things had happened, but luckily I noticed them. It makes me wonder what else happened that I did not notice. Both of those items were eventually repaired. More bad: what a mess! I have never seen such a messy roofing crew, nails are literally everywhere even two weeks after completion, garbage, underlayment, shingle wrappers in bushes. The guys "cleaned up" but with such a mess, they missed a lot. read more

The low rating reflects my dissatisfaction with the service received from Stanley Roofing on a single family home re-roofing project. Although the President and Co-owner, Dustin, was responsive and addressed some of the issues, the sales representative and project manager acted unprofessionally and incompetently. There were several issues, such as the removal of chimney siding without permission, inaccurate estimates/reports of plywood usage, poorly installed gutters leading to damage, and pressure to pay for incomplete and low-quality work. I had to handle replacing the chimney siding myself, even though the insurance company had approved additional funds after being informed. I was discouraged from contacting the listed owner, Andrea by the project manager. I found that to be unacceptable. After several attempts, I finally had a conversation with Dustin, who made some adjustments to the project. Dustin changed the reported plywood usage from 8 to 3, installed all new facia/ drip edge and removed / reinstalled new gutters. However, Stanley Roofing did place a premature lien on my house, which was contested and eventually removed. I recall the experience with Stanleys Roofing as stressful and time-consuming. While the owner may care about customer service, they are difficult to contact and employees don't seem interested in the same level of work quality or customer service. The letter of commencement was dated in June of 2023. The re roofing job on a 1700 sqft home was completed on November 17, 2023. The lien was filed on 11/14/2023 and removed on 12/19/23. We were hit by hurricane Ian and had shingle damage. Stanley's Roofing was in our area and we talked them about our roof. Stanley's Roofing worked with us and assisted with the insurance company. We upgraded to a metal roof and are happy with the results. It took three days from the tear off to completing the installation of the new metal roof. The crews were professional and fast. i hired Stanley's Roofing, Sorrento FL after a hail storm in April 2023. After many months and 2 failed inspections, my roof is not the solid roof that my insurance paid for but a patched roof that may or may not survive a storm. Also the chimney that I was charged extra for was left in an unfinished state. It was originally stucco and now is bare wood. The gutters pour water over the sides during every rain. Stanleys Roofing left roofing nails all over the yard and my elderly mother finds them every time she's outside (86yo) I have already had one flat tire. When hiring Stanley's Roofing you would believe that they would be the company that is doing your roof! Wrong!!! They hire a subcontractor that bids the lowest. Now you have people on your roof that may have never done a roof before!! In my case definitely little or no experience. The language barrier does not help! After 2 heavy rains and water pouring in there was substantial damage done to interior of my home which Stanley's Roofing will not take responsibility for. I have had to hire a lawyer as Stanleys Roofing put a lien on my home. (I held back final payment until roof and gutters and chimney were done). Even though the damages to my home are tens of thousand beyond that amount I held back. The city inspector told me when out for 3rd time that inspectors are not allowed on roof but only view the roof from the ground....good thing, if he had gotten on the roof I am afraid he would have fallen through. The many patches were not done truss to truss. This is not the reputable company that they make out to be nor will they give me the information on their insurance company. I had Stanley Roofing put a new roof on my house in July 2022 and I have had a leak in my roof ever since the new roof was put on my house. It is going on 2 years since the roof was put on and I have had Stanley Roofing come out several times to find and fix the leak but so far, they can't find the or fix the leak. I was told that the leak was because of the cap on my chimney and that i needed a new cap. We put a tarp over the cap and the roof still leaked so that isn't the reason for the leak but I did put a new cap on the chimney and took the tarp off and the roof still leaks. Stanley Roofing came out one time and one of their employees put his foot through my ceiling. They immediately fixed the hole in the ceiling but did not repaint the ceiling that was damaged. I was told that they couldn't find anybody to paint the ceiling so they told me to have the ceiling painted and send them an invoice for the expenses which I did. However, it took over 90 days to get reimbursed for the painting of the ceiling and during this time I made several telephone calls, sent several email's and text messages to Eric who was my only contact and he refused to return my telephone calls, email's or text messages I would never recommend Stanley Roofing in the future. read more

STANLEY'S ROOFING IS THE BEST...Having our shingles blow off during Hurricane Nicole was frightening especially since our home is only 6 years old. From the very first meeting with the owner Dustin, he was very thorough, explained every step in detail, and did in person inspections throughout the whole process. He promptly worked us into his schedule, boots on our roof within 3 weeks. The support staff is amazing. The office admin (Alysia) got all of our paperwork completed efficiently and the ball rolling in one day, I had nothing to worry about. The installation crew was top notch, they worked for three days, non-stop and with so much care for our property. Roof replacement is a "messy" process, but these guys cleaned up throughout the day with not a single nail or piece of paper left behind on our property. I was truly impressed! I have to give thanks to Bo, Sean and Jason who were at my home every day, checking everything several times a day, and fixing the builders subpar work from 6 years ago.
