My husband and I had eye appointments yesterday and it couldn't have gone better. The staff was so kind and helpful. Marcie worked with my husband on teaching him to put contacts in and was very patient with him. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. No Longer a LOCAL Business you can call and talk to anyone in the store to get help, and will not offer replacement parts! I purchased a pair of eyeglasses from My eye lab back in January 2022, I purchased them for almost $450 with frames and exams, including Anti-Reflective Coating, UV Coating, Scratch Resistance Coating, and Progressive Lenses. The people were nice, but the actual eye test was done virtually. The first pair of glasses they sent me had to be re-ordered because the prescription was not right, the second pair I received in about a week was fine. I only actually used these glasses for about 17 months with Limited daily use, I did not carry these around I used reading glasses when I was not at the computer desk. I only used these at my desk while working on my computer and they stayed at my desk in a protective wooden box. I ended up having to move in April 2023, and before I was able to unpack my office, I broke my Ankle in August 2023 and was unable to start getting my office items unpacked till the end of November 2023, that is when I started wearing my glasses again at my computer only. No longer a LOCAL BUSINESS: My Eye Lab notified me that I needed to do a new prescription in December 2023, I tried calling My Eye lab and found out they are now Stanton Optical, and you can no longer contact an employee, they have an out-of-country answering service now, so now all my information has been transferred to a foreign agency. I decided not to renew due to them no longer being a local agency I can contact! Will not offer replacement parts if your prescription has expired: Now in April of 2024 my Glasses broke, not the lenses but the frame's part that goes over your ear, and as far as my prescription goes, I can still see just fine as I have been since getting the glasses in 2022. I tried calling Stanton about getting a replacement part but was told by someone I could barely understand due to my expired PERSCRIPTION! There is a thin piece of soft metal that holds the Temples's arm to the Hing location, and this spot is designed to fail, if I had been using these glasses daily, they would have failed long before they did. This is an intentional failure point to ensure that replacement will be needed! There is NO WAY I would purchase from these people again, not only due to my initial issue with them getting my prescription wrong, but now not offering a way to purchase any replacement parts, so to try and force you to have to come in to get a new prescription is JUST WRONG! I'm now looking for a replacement part for my Elite ELM-16-78 Frames. read more

Truly the most unhelpful and uneducated group of people. The whole place smells like cigarettes and no one there has a degree or knows what they are doing. It is a bunch of people trying to upsell you on glasses and contacts. Literally go anywhere else. The whole place is disgusting and the eye machines are literally falling apart. Do not go here! This was the worst experience. I had an appointment and showed up early. Apparently the system went down and they said it would be up quickly. Sat there for an hour and 45 minutes. The workers never said anything else to me, no update, no nothing. Do not buy glasses here. While there is a nice man who is patient with customers the woman who runs it is arrogant and does not care about the customer. I felt hustled. I was told one price and then as I went to order it after I went ahead and got the exam (which is free if you buy the glasses) it was entirely another price. The Manger said "That's because the sales person didn't know what she was doing." Buy one get one free doesnt exist. that works out to buy one get the other one for the same $300. So then it was the frames that were free. As I went to pick them up I said "OK then give me the free frames". Nope its not that either. Then she said "Do you want these glasses or not". If I could give them less I would. Went for eye exam for contacts. Can see better with nothing verses the prescription they gave me. They did not redo exam like I had asked of them. The two girls in the store working today were rude as can be. Dr did virtual the very first appt and I fully do not believe they got the right prescription strength for my eyes. They told me no places were doing the one hour glasses which was a total lie cause their sister co, Stanton Optical, still is. Not a happy customer. 1. When you make the appt they didn't disclose the doctor is virtual calling in from who knows where in the world 2. Two pairs for $50 is not close .... only if you need reading glasses ... a normal prescription and frames $500 for the two pairs no exaggeration 3. They charge your credit card on day one and ssy up to ten days before the glasses arrive from their international factory... when they don't arrive in ten days they say the only option is to continue to wait no credit or refund. Buyer beware ask is the doctor on site and in person, where will the glasses be made and ship from, when will my card be charged? Update my glasses finally arrived. They are nice glasses. This place is a gimmick. They lure you in with a special but when you get there you only have a limited amount of eyeglasses to choose that look like a style from the 1980s. You can get an eye exam and eyeglasses cheaper elsewhere. On a lighter note, everyone was friendly that worked there. Did have to wait almost 45 minutes to check out after we found the eyeglasses we wanted to purchase. I don't think I'll shop here again. read more

First of all they said my United Healthcare Insurance would cover the cost. After the eye exam they charged me 300$ and said I'd have to turn in my receipt to get reimbursed by United Healthcare. When I went to pick up my contacts, I arrived at 9:00am (When they are suppose to open) because I had a flight to catch at noon. I've been trying to get them to get my order straight for FIVE MONTHS now. I was hesitant about using a cheap place but I figured it would be fine. I did their free eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses for $50 deal. I received pair #1 in 2 weeks (which was the expected time), but the prescription was too weak, so I ordered another pair. Two months later I got a call that my glasses were ready. It was the reorder for pair #1 and it was covered in smudges. I asked about pair #2, which I still hadn't received. Apparently, they were damaged during transit so it had to be reordered, but they never contacted me about that. I asked the manager for my money back because I didn't want to have to wait anymore. He offered me a free pair of sunglasses for my troubles and asked that I wait. He put in the order for the sunglasses. After a few weeks, I picked up order #2. It has been 2 months and I still haven't received a call about the free sunglasses being ready, so I just went in today to ask about them. I spoke to the same manager and he had no idea what I was talking about. There was no order in the system and nothing waiting for me. I left. I don't want to deal with this ridiculous crap anymore. This took 5 months...the season has changed twice since I ordered my glasses. Their staff changed during this time, and their manager even changed. It was like me coming in and asking if my glasses were there yet was the only constant in that place. Don't waste your time with this place. Seriously. I wanted to love this place. The manager is very sweet, and the service was quick. The eye exam, however, was less than ideal. The virtual doctor had zero "bedside manner" and did not address any of the red flags I indicated on the questionnaire (why have one, remove it if those questions aren't addressed). She seemed to be in a hurry and didn't accurately perform the exam. So when I pick up the glasses, I was not surprised to see that the prescription was incorrect. I go to return the glasses because at this point, I have lost faith in the doctors at establishment and I am met with, "I have to get approval, which takes 48 hours". Still, I had hope they would do the right thing because - people make mistakes. But. I call the store back after 48 hours and still, no approval. When I asked for an estimation of when this will be approved, I am met with uncertainty that it will even be approved. Absolutely zero urgency or care for my situation as their patient. So now, it has been 3 weeks since the initial exam - I have no new glasses and have to start the process over (with a further waiting period for insurance to reflect the refund on the 1st pair) - which means a longer period of wearing my old frames which are causing migraines (see above statement on questionnaire). I am wildly unhappy with this, and would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

My Eyelab is my new favorite place to get glasses and sunglasses! Chris helped me with my eye exam today and he did an awesome job at helping me pick out the perfect frames for both my glasses and sunglasses! He had Ki shadowing him today and he did a great job as well! Chris also showed me all the options I could get with both my glasses and sunglasses and then recommended the ones that would best suit me. He also told me about their protection plan that they offer on the glasses with was an awesome deal that I couldn't pass up! Three problems: the price I was told when I made the appointment was not accepted when I came in, I waited for an hour while one of their computers was trying to reboot, you don't see a doctor in person! The eye exam was done online, which was a news experience for me. The "eye tech" who did other test, including a "laser" type picture of the inside of the eye, was cool. Overall the exam was great. Next was the picking out of the frames. I was told none of the @/59.99 would be "right " for me. And was directed to the designer frames. Found some, and instead of being told "these can't really be adjusted, they are to small for you", I was told " we can get them to fit. Liar, liar, pants on fire......got the glasses, asked for adjustment, looked at me like I had 3 heads. I left. Went back aprox. a week later, a wonderful lady named Jennifer who just started as manager, took care of me. I got 2 new frames, "look until you find what fits and feels good". I did. She remeasured and sent my order out. I also was adjusted when the order arrived, gone back and adjusted. No problems. Jennifer acted as if I were a person, not just a sell. Wow, this was a bad experience! The "free" eye exam needs to be paid for upfront, then your account is credited when you purchase glasses. The person doing the exam is at some unknown location, and the exam is done online. Unfortunately, the exam was done badly, and I have one lens badly out of focus. The glasses ended up costing significantly more than "2 for $59", as that deal only applies to a very select group of a few frames. I was told this after I paid for the "free" eye exam. A lens popped out within hours of buying the glasses, resulting in a permanent scratch. More problems with the experience than I have time to write. I would never, under any circumstances, consider using this business again. Terrible. read more
