Appointment was made for today for medical (spouse is diabetic) and routine visit next week for both of us. On today we get there and are told they don't take my insurance. She looks and sees it's the same as last year but is still adamant that they don't take the insurance (BCBS). We leave and I call my insurance to verify the information and I am told that they are in network with the insurance. I call back to inform them and the GIRL hangs up on me. It wasn't an accidental hang up as they have NOT called back. I wasn't rude, just wanted them to go back to check. Let me add that we do not live locally so a waste of time and gas...

Wait 15 minutes. Had two quick eye exams maybe 5-7 minutes long. Wait, and wait some more. Finally at 10:15 I went out and asked why I was still waiting when my appointment was for 9:30. Was told one of the doctors was on his way. I asked why wouldn't you let me know? She started crying and walked out. The other two guys at the desk looked straight ahead and would not acknowledge me. I asked one if them if they thought the woman was going to try to find out how much longer I would have to wait or did she just walk out on me. He stated that he didn't believe that she had any intention of coming back out anytime soon. Neither he nor the other guy at the front asked me if I wanted to reschedule. Of course when a person is already stewing at been treated that way, of course I would not have rescheduled. I had to walk out with no apologies from anyone. The thing is, it's all ok to waist other peoples time, but none of those employees or doctors would have wanted to be treated that way. I have been going to the Diagnostic Clinic for over 20 years - a very busy place. I have never had to wait for a doctor's appt. as long as I did today. In fact they have signs that say if you have waited more than 15 minutes long to let the desk know. All three employees working the front desk were young and obviously never taught manners. The man who did the short eye exams was courteous, but did he really not know that I would have to sit and wait for awhile? About the business information is a lie. Their customer service is bad.

I made an appointment for my daughter for glasses and contacts. About 20 minutes prior to her…read moreappointment, I was notified that the doctor did not show up and we would need to reschedule. It was highly unprofessional to cancel as late as they did, but I understand life happens and was willing to give them another chance. I was (unknowingly) rescheduled for a day that a doctor is only available virtually, which meant my daughter wouldn't be able to get contacts since it's her first time for those. Had they verified what kind of appointment was needed, this could have been avoided. I was told to reschedule for another day and when I told the receptionist that I was out of town that day, she shrugged her shoulders and said that's when the dr is in. They also told me my insurance was not accepted, but when I verified through my insurance, I was told that establishment DID accept my insurance! This business does not value the customer, which is made clear by the apathetic attitude and unwillingness to meet the minimum standard.

The exam was fine and the people at the front were fine which is why I gave an extra star, but when I went in to try out a pair of contacts I've never worn I had questions. So I asked the front counter person who turned me over to Maria. Maria was sitting in the middle of the store opening new products coming in. She was making all kinds of noise, popping bags for shipping and was being very obnoxious. She could have simply used a knife or something to let the air out. I asked Maria how these new contacts work and she said if you don't like them you can come back, in a very monotone unwelcoming voice. I asked a follow up question and you could tell she was annoyed and again responded short without answering my questions. She made me feel very unwelcomed which is not my usual feeling when I'm there. If you don't like your job Maria get a new one. Everyone else that worked here I interacted with appreciated our business. Manager, have a talk with Maria or get rid of her. The manager was out of town so that may have had so thing to do with it. But if I were the manager I would definitely place Maria in a different position away from customers if she is just that way, or send her on the way.
