I am glad they use the "ship UPS" on their logo because that's what I normally come here for. Some staffs are useful, some staffs are not, which left me mixed feeling. For example, when I came today, right before I got to the UPS drop box counter, the woman in the blue shirt walked away!! When she finally walked towards me, I didn't see she looked at me at all so I tried to talk to her to catch her attention "Excuse me, I already have the label"..She continued walking towards the copy machine (in other to get there, she had to walk by me) and didn't acknowledge me at all!!! How would you feel not being acknowledge as a customer? She was talking to the guy at the copy machine then looked back at me "Are you all set"? I said yes! She then walked towards me, no facial expression, took the bag in my hand and walked towards the UPS bin without scanning me. Some other staffs saw that and told her "did you scan" She did not respond, but I responded, because it wasn't my first time! I said "No, she didn't scan me" Even then, she didn't even show anything that she cared of what she was doing!! She shrugged and walked away joking with her colleagues "I work for free", and then another girl in the red shirt came to me, scanned my bag and gave me my receipt! This girl is a lot more WELCOMING!! Than the other one who didn't know what she was doing had was COLD the whole time!! I don't know what the difference is between blue shirts vs red shirts staffs, but customer service 101 is customers wouldn't know (or care) if you have a good day or a bad day! All they remember is the moment you interact with them!! Choose how to leave your MARK! And the mark that represent the business you represent! Truly the worst Staples location I've ever used. Incredibly slow service and avoid the print department at all costs. They also have it set up that the only way to exit the building is to go through a restricted lane set up with aisles of merchandise leading to to the cashiers. This really does seem to be in violation of fire codes. Fire Marshall anyone? read more

Year after year the print design team pull off miracle, last minute jobs. They're always busy and juggling a hundred other projects, BUT they have consistently gone out of their way to meet impossible deadlines. This location is okay, they have a lot of products there, the store is well-organized but definitely do not use their shipping services. I shipped a package with them that I was wanting to mail to a friend of mine in Georgia and it took a little over two weeks to get there when it should have taken only maybe four days tops. I had wanted the package to arrive in time for the recipient's birthday which is why I mailed it a week in advance of the occasion but nevertheless the gift arrived to it's destination extremely late. I talked to a couple of post office workers who I know and they told me it's a very bad idea to use Staples for shipping because it's considered retail shipping and generally takes longer. So I guess in the future I will stick to the post office for shipping and to Staples for shopping. read more

I just walked into this Staples to get a total of five copies and they could not accommodate me due to being " backed up". Two of the three employees were chatting around a copy machine while the one at the counter was backed up. No one else in line . The self serve were all busy and I could not wait. Do not ever ship a package here! Just make the extra trip to the post office or ups store, to have it done right... First, when I came in with my package the employee told me "the weight doesn't matter, just the size". NOT TRUE! I received it back in the mail for being overweight 2 days later. When I went back to the store, they had an attitude about the mistake and turns out that it weighed 4 pounds heavier than was allowed with the shipping tag. Obviously they don't know how to read their own scale or don't understand how usps shipping works. I then stood there for 20 minutes while the employee who is in charge of shipping, made photocopies and watched me standing there. He told me twice, to "wait a minute" and I did, but after a full 20 minutes standing there I told them I was going to the post office. Bottom line, if you value your package and want it shipped on time, DO NOT go here. read more

If you want the bare minimum which is competency in this case, don't bother coming to this Staples. The people who work in the copy center are NO HELP. I'm very computer and tech savvy,but not when I have BUM equipment to use. I go to customer service so I can get help from a manager, Chris the manager gives me a courtesy card to help me with my project and hurry's off to do whatever. The courtesy card after all of my aggravation was EMPTY. I walked out before I had a she Hulk moment. I had been coming here for my documents to print, including postcards and banners. I liked that I could email projects to the staff directly, answer any questions, and respond so we could all come on the happy product having side. Well it appears that they changed their protocol, decided not to tell their customers about it, and then argue with them over actually getting the project done. Even calling corporate came up with a 10% off offer and a canned impersonal apology for the experience. Holy shit, three whole dollars off!? Yeah, I'm going back with my local guy. read more

SO SLOW!! Went there at 11am expecting it to not be too busy. Three of the 5 copy machines were out of order. There were 7 people in line waiting for the machines. Ive been in line about 20 min ... I'm not down on Staples. But this one bites it. Slow staff (waited in line at the print shop for about 20 minutes with only ONE person at the register in front of me) and then at the print station the computer froze up on me...but it didn't freeze up the $$ meter, haha. Listen. I'm a professional. I'm not trying to do all of my clients' print work at Staples. I generally use a real printer, like Sophwell. But sometimes all you need is 1-2 print outs and it just makes more sense to use a Staples or an OfficeMax or whatever. The quality is what it is...it's digital output so it's not going to be 4-color process quality. But if your quality isn't going to be great, maybe step it up with the customer service and give me a reason to come back? Just sayin'... read more

WARNING!! This is the worst Staples Copy Center I have ever dealt with... Refuse to answer their phones and contact you when a print order is ready... I submitted an order online on a Wednesday morning. I called Wednesday night and was placed on hold for 10 minutes while, three times having the phone picked up by someone at customer service. I gave up and called an hour later. Same result. Tried calling again this morning and again placed on hold and after waiting 8 minutes I gave up. This also means I am giving up on ever picking up the print order. If this is the way this Staples works then I will just drive 5 miles to the next and spend my money there. What a waste. Mad that I even have to give them 1 star. Based on Ryan S's comment from 5 years ago it looks like this Staples is not serious about ever improving. Just horrible. read more

This store was great! I was very disappointed in several other office supply stores, and my hope was running out. However, this Staples - located right off of 93 - restored my faith. I easily found what I was looking for, and the associate who rang me up was upbeat and friendly. She informed me abou the Staples rewards program - and she pointed out a survey on my receipt about my shopping experience. The absolute worst. Rudest lady works here during the day (think she's the manager) who just says no to everything you ask. They make you place even the smallest orders online and wait a full day to pick up THE WRONG poorly printed things that you have to wait an additional two hours for them to fix their mistakes...The staff is always rude. Is there any place in Boston that you can park at and make a ton of color copies or color prints? No really, I'm asking. Because any time I need a TON of color copies or printouts, we have to make the drive to Staples. It's not all that clean or friendly, but I will say that on my last visit the copy center gentleman said he was completely backed up and it might be next day service. After a little coercing, he said 8:00pm. When I came back for said printouts, I noticed my MS Word file on my Mac didn't match up to his MS Word file on his PC after he made 25 color copies of this five page document. He let me come behind the counter and fix the issue and printed them all back up at no extra charge for the formatting issue. It's an A-OK place until I find someone much closer to have my office needs met. read more

Terrible. I was trying to get some documents to a client and wanted to fax or email them to this location for him to pick up. After being on hold for 10 minutes I finally got to talk to someone. I said what I wanted to do and they provided their email address. I then called back to verify they received my email and this time the clerk said "we really don't like doing this type of service". I told every other store will print and hold documents, he said "yeahhhh, but, I mean, we can, we just don't like to do it". I told him I will just call the UPS store then and he said "yeahhhh, that would be better". Weird..... read more

Went into this Staples location to get a new ink cartridge for my printer. I tried to use the guide that helps you find our ink but was unable to find it. Went up to the customer service desk and asked for help. The guy behind the counter said he would send someone over. While I waited for someone (which lasted about 20 mins until I ended up finding myself) the store manager was walking around the front closing registers shutting the gates on the windows. You would have thought it was 10 mins before close. Nope it was a hour before close and he definitely saw me standing there waiting. I have managed in retail and you always assist customers before doing anything else. Customers should come first. I will drive further just to avoid this store. read more

I stood in line waiting to just drop off a UPS package and stood in line for about 10 minutes with 3 people behind the desk not even acknowledging me or the woman waiting patiently in front of me. Then I went to the computer to print something out to have printed on card stock. Once again stood in line and there is only 1 person behind the desk helping people now. When it was finally my turn the woman told me there would be a 1 hour wait for 3 copies on card stock and when I asked if it could just wait since it was only 3 copies she said I would have to pay a rush fee. Are you serious?! I was so aggravated I left and am now heading to another place to print with better service and prices. read more

Stay away from the Copy Center at this Staples if you know whats best for you and your company. The first time I went here to order a "RECEIVED" stamp. We went over the spelling of the company name and exactly what would appear on the stamp 3 times. When I got the stamp back to the office I noticed that "received" was spelt wrong. Now this might seem like just a small mistake and well, mistakes happen, BUT in this case it took about an hour just to get someone to understand what it is I was looking for and to then to actually place an order was like pulling teeth. I did go back to order company letter head and presentation folders just this past month, yes it's been a month already, because I was desperate. So I'll spare you all the horrid stories that errupted in the 3 week back and forth phone calls that it took to place a small order. Wow this Staples could quite possibly have been the most annoying shopping experience of my life. I doubt that but its recent and therefor feels like it. I was trying to buy a glass topped desk. It was displayed and when I asked if I could buy it, they said they were out and they refused to sell me the floor model. I asked if there was a close location that had it and they said they should have one in Braintree but I wasn't going to race over there if someone had bought that one and they just hadn't updated the computer I asked them to call and find out if they had the desk and if they could hold it and that took so long that even if they did have it we wouldn't have made it anyways. it took the manager about 45 minutes to get involved and freak out. After waiting for almost an hour it turned out they had one in the back the whole time. I wanted to burn the place down!!! read more

So basically I went in to grab a laptop... I already had one picked out so that should be fairly simple and quick... WELL they said they need one of their tech reps to come over and help me out and I of course don't think anything about it and said ok sure why not... Little did I know that was where I went wrong... After waiting about 10minutes for the rep he makes me sit through another 20minutes of trying to sell me another product then another 20 minutes for trying to sell me a warrenty after I had told him this is the product I want and I don't want a warrenty with it... So after about an hour waiting there they come back to tell me they RAN OUT OF INVENTORY!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! COME ON!!!! that is unreal. I hope everyone else has better luck with them than I do because I don't think i'm going to them anymore read more
