Popped in here again recently to see how they've incorporated the Party City items they now stock at their locations. We were greeted at entry and staff was generally welcoming. The store itself has the warehouse vibe and was clean with easy to navigate aisles and shelves. They have a large clearance area for any bargain hunters out there. They have moved the merch on the far right of the store to be all the party items now, along with balloons and such. It was a bit limited in options but it looked like they were still in progress of getting it all moved around. Overall: B+ Solid location. Clean. Frequent staff. read more

I was in the area and decided to check this Staples out. I saw on the outdoor sign that they had a Party City area and was intrigued. They didn't have much Party City merchandise. However, they do have a good selection of balloons and basic party supplies. I was most surprised by their bin win area. It seems to be Amazon returns at a discounted price. I ended up going on a day that everything was only $2. If you have the Amazon app you can scan some of the barcodes and see what the original price is to see if you're getting a good deal. There were some quality items for quite a good price. I even found some boots and shoes. They weren't in my size but I was surprised to see them so cheap. read more

I'm basically at Staples every other week to utilize their self-printing services. At this rate, I should probably just a buy a printer for my house, but glad they're always available when I need a quick print job for a project or for work. Their system is pretty straightforward and easy to use. Of course, if you need help or have questions, there is a staff member behind the printing counter, but they are usually quite busy, so expect to wait in line. I appreciate that they offer some additional supplies for you to use like a stapler, scissors, envelopes to hold your print materials, etc. (free of charge). My only complaint is that you cannot choose the paper type to print your documents on and the printers are already pre-loaded with a high quality paper stock (that's a bit thicker than just plain copy paper), therefore it's reflected in the price and it's very expensive to do a large print job here. Around 130 copies of a single-sided black & white page will run you about $50. But if you're in a pinch, it's a fine option and gets the job done. read more

He helped me figure out how to print things out and gave me advice on how to get the best color in the paper. I wanted to cut off excess paper and he gladly helped me out. Very kind. I came to this location because it's a designated place to enroll in TSA PreCheck. I had a good experience. The parking lot is huge and convenient. The store is well organized. The person conducting my appointment was very nice and fast. The whole proceeds was so easy, which was a relief. Multiple employees checked in me while I was waiting. Service was good. This is by far the best Staples location I've visited and I'd come back to shop or get other services. read more

Unfortunately I did not take any photos when I went to Staples the other day however; if you did not know they do offer printing still. They have about four printers each copy is about $1.67. I went in because I actually couldn't find my library card and I didn't know if they still did printing like back in the day but they do. I printed out some papers I need it for work and it was super easy and super quick. Plus the paper that it printed on is really nice paper. I did ask Marcus in the front if they still printed and he showed me the spot where they do and then he also told me they print out stuff for your passport as well which I thought that was very convenient. If you haven't been to the Staples it is in the colonial plaza shopping area off of colonial. It is right next to the new Hallmark store as well as near the home centric store. Overall I am giving my visit a 10 out of 10 I will definitely be back to Staples to print out more items if I still can't find my library card. read more

I get that you have self service to print but sometimes you want to pay cash or get actual help. The guy told me if he printed one shipping label for me it would be more expensive than then self service. I used the self service and it automatically charged me for color print for a shipping label. Customer service is so dead now. read more

It's nearing the end of 2021 and the 90's styles are making a comeback. And if you want to get the full 90's experience, put your boots and flannels on and, crank up "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and visit the store. It's poorly lit and you literally feel like you're transported back in time (no Huey Lewis needed). Back to Nirvana though, right? Follow the bouncing ball... Half the Lights Out, Here at Staples Some Computers, Brother Labels Red Polo Shirts, Ross and Rachel It's outdated, Marla Maples Sharpened Pencil, Letter Stencil Giant Cell Phone, OJ's Bronco Ahhh, those were the days. Staples was also a much better store back then. I used to go and just browse, but if I need anything office related, I'll probably just hit up somewhere else with similar options. Maybe it's a result of the pandemic, the internet, or Mitt Romney. It definitely needs a facelift, but they do still have office supplies. read more

On June 26, 2024 I placed an order for a printer because agent told me I would get 2 months of FREE tech service. I gave him my debit card number. In minutes I received an email of the receipt and I was CHARGED for the tech service. I called and cancelled the order and received a confirmation email. On June 27, 2024 my debit card was charged 2 charges from Staples: $234.29 $234.29 a total of $468.58 was deducted from my account. These fraudulent charges denied me use of my own money to pay my bills. There was no sale. Staples attitude was they would investigate and at some point in the future they might return my money to me. John Lederer's assistant did nothing to help me. To this day I do not believe I have received a full refund of $468.58. THIS IS FRAUD. read more

Great experience at this location. There were some items that we were interested in that were on some pretty big sales on staples.com and we went in to take advantage of the sale. The sale was not indicated on the shelf; but, they honored the Staples.com prices which were 50% off. All you need to do is show them the sale item price from your phone and they will honor it at check out out. They did so in a very friendly manner. Great store! read more

It was so bad that even my plugged-in speakers weren't working right, for all the interference the keyboard and mouse were creating. I found a lighted, multi-media, plug-in keyboard, and mouse by Logitech; and, even though they were very pricey, they filled the needs. I also bought a USB hub, as my PC is completely lacking in connectivity. The gentleman that helped me also helped my wife look at printers; and, the cashier was terrific. She helped my wife return an item that she received in error; and, she updated my wife on their recycling program, which had been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 concerns. I have always been attracted to Staples. I'm sure it has nothing to do with their great customer service. Went in the other day to buy some clips and label making tape. I was able to locate the clips, no problem. I could not find the tape. I spoke with one of the employees and he did not tell me where it was...he took me there. When we got to where the tape was, the display was empty. The young man informed me that they had received a truck earlier that day and would go and locate it. My label tape was not an emergency, so I did not need it right away, but I sincerely appreciate the effort he was willing to put into it to provide some great customer service. My parents and I need some money/rent receipts so we stop in to Staples at Colonial Plaza. Someone greeted us as we walk into the store. We kept walking and looking for our item in need. At the end of the isle, a staff member asked us if he can help us with anything. He showed us to where the receipt booklets are. We picked up the one we were looking for and proceed to the cashier. $10.41 he said. I thought I saw the sign said $7.99. The other staff went and check the price for us. I went to Staples today, at the Colonial Plaza Store in Orlando, to buy some legal letter folders and matching containers. I have to say, the customer service there is not the best. While I was trying to find containers for the legal folders I wanted to buy, a man came up to me and asked me if I worked there. I told him no. I told him to look for people wearing red Staples shirts who could help him. He had to be store security, because he looked so out of place in the store. I also noticed him just looking aimlessly around when I was brousing through the aisles. LOL Next time, I'll buy my business products from Walmart or Amazon. I had an excellent experience with the Staples print department when I needed to make copies of Christmas cards. I went to a fed ex first because it was near my home and they wanted double what I ended up paying at Staples (and I even made a calculation error and ended up with double the cards I needed from staples) I spent $50 and got 120 color copies cards on car stock and 50 envelopes. They were able to take two cards and reduce them to fit on one sheet of card stock and even cut them in half for me. My prints were ready is 5 hours- could have been ready sooner for all I know but when I went back at 4 after dropping them off at 11 they were ready to go. So happy with my service and with the customer service as well. I will definitely be a Staples customer from now on! read more

Right after church, my wife sprang on me yesterday's Staples ad, which featured a Kodak 14 mp "Slice" touch screen digital camera for $99 ($200 off - oooh!!) So off we went even before lunch to get this bar-gooon, "before they're ALL GONE", she preached, with fire and brimstone in her eyes. While there, we succumbed to picking up a few items that were "free after rebate" - stuff we don't need really, but it would appear that, even right after Sunday Service, we discovered we haven't greed-proofed our psyche and soul. What hurts the most? The sermon was EXACTLY on the subject of Christians needing to guard against acquiring too much "stuff". Ouch!! Moving along... on a POSITIVE note (and niftily shifting focus from the sinful ways of Adam and Eve here): the Staples staff were all knowledgeable and helpful. I'm not one to talk up the big "evil" big box stores - indeed, this is the first time I've reviewed a BB of any kind; so it's at risk of furnishing definitive proof that I've sold my soul, that I commend Staples for the super easy rebate process. Seriously: all you need to do is keep the receipt, fire up the computer, go to their site, and in less than 5 min., it was done. Of course we have to wait 4-6 weeks, but no licking envelopes or stamps, or making messy copies - the process was lean and GREEN! Kudos, Staples - that WAS easy. Good store for office supplies. There are other advantages: 1. hardly anybody there, so service is relatively fast 2. they take UPS returns. Just walk in and drop off the packages 3. secure shredding service. There is nothing special about this store. There really is nothing wrong, just not special. The location is good. It's a very clean organized store. Not a lot of helpful employees around if you have a question. The items tend to be highly overpriced here as in most staples. I usual only go to staples when I have some good type of coupon otherwise its not worth it. It is a good convenience if you need to have something copied or faxed otherwise everything here can be found in Walmart or even target for a lower price. After spending several weeks recently, exploring business card options online, and finding out that quick delivery would cost more than the cards themselves, I decided to check out the local choices. Within minutes of walking into Staples, Maria was giving me the 411 on types, styles, and costs. Her suggestion: go to staples.com/printingservices, create my new biz card and upload the draft to the store. Following her advice, I had business cards created at home, on my computer, in about an hour, and picking them up at the store was even quicker. Approve the draft, and they are printed on the spot. How's that for fast and reliable? My cards came out beautifully, and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. However, I believe the compliments should go to the Staples, East Colonial staff, who are exceptional. What happened to me recently at a 'Staples' Branch -: 2774 E Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL. I needed three copies of a doc. that I had on a flash drive, when I presented it to one of the two employee's at the print center, I was told that I had to do it myself if less than 50 copies were needed, and to log on, give my credit card information and that is now store policy. You had two employee's standing doing nothing, so you want me to do it and you want to charge me for doing it myself. I was in a hurry and had my dog in the car. I was very annoyed about the attitude at this store, so I complained to customer service and much to my surprise the attitude at the top is the same, rude and uncaring. The gist: It's a place where you buy all of your business supplies and I'm in here a great deal. I also have great luck with the people that work there and have yet to have an item on my shopping list that they don't have. It's a fairly large store and I'm one of those grumpy people that likes to shop for my office supplies in the morning. Normally while wearing sunglasses, drinking a coffee, and wanting to be left alone. I like the people at this store because they will ask you one time if you need any help and if you happen to grumble "No thank you. I'm just picking up a few things." they'll go about what they were doing and leave you alone. This is SUPER important to me. Its like when you get that one waiter that just won't shut up. Stop being so happy and let me shop. I'm a grown adult and I'm capable of picking out which three refills I need of over priced printer ink. Walked in with a long list and Myrna called me over to the register and was able to tell me exactly what isles and where all of my items were. Made shopping there an absolute breeze in a store that could easily be overwhelming for someone who doesn't shop at office stores often.
