My phone died within 30 minutes. I returned to the store and was told by the employee the owner is corrupt and that he would use the paper I signed against me if I challenged the charge. Email communication was fairly good and my MacBook is indeed working again with the Radeon GPU disabled and running on the integrated Intel GPU. The only thing keeping my review from being a 5 star is that Adam's initial inquiry about getting my MacBook fixed was that "these usually go out the day after they are received" and it took several weeks to get my MacBook back and there was a short time when I got no response to my inquiries as to when it might be done. I saw the 2 low reviews here in Yelp and got a little concerned. I know that anyone might have a problem with a particular machine repair unexpectedly taking a long time and it's always possible that a machine might be damaged during shipping. I also know that IT Elite Computer Serv. and RealMacMods.com have many dozen great reviews on Google and I can attest to the fact that my machine was fixed and shipped back to me in fine condition once they got to it. The fix was $85 plus return shipping and insurance and it was well worth it to get my MacBook working again! Any repair company can get overwhelmed with a lot of business at one time but as long as you know up front that it will take several weeks to get the job done, I think they do a fine job. HW

Tyler and Kelsey were truly a blessing. Because of their attention to details, the service for…read moremy father-in-law went very smoothly. They provided and arranged everything we requested. The special touches they provided made the service memorable and meaningful. We kept receiving calls days later on how beautiful the service was. We visited other funeral homes however, they did not provide the same type of service as Houck and Gofus. We were told on several of our requests that the family would have to provide. For example, military honors. We were told we would have to arrange. Tyler and Kelsey made all of the arrangements, we did not have to make one phone call. We even stopped by in the evening without an appointment. Tyler, without hesitation, stopped what he was doing and invited us in and reviewed the information and answered all of our questions. This was great customer service at its best! The very next morning we met with Kelsey and the arrangements were made. Living in Phila, this was extremely helpful. We did not have to go back and forth, Tyler and Kelsey arranged everything for us from the flowers, military honors, death certificates, a pastor and pictures for both the obituary and slide show. We did not have a repass, Kelsey provided a local caterer who provided the delicious box lunches. Grumpy's was able to cater the event, the ordering was done over one phone call; it was all very hassle free. I cannot stress that enough! I would definitely recommend Houck and Gofus. They are extremely professional and extremely proficient. Did I mention they are really genuine nice people. They get back to you right away and they never made us feel like we were bothering them with our questions. Please do not go to anyone else, make Houck and Gofus your choice for your loved ones. You will be glad you did!
