While I was standing at the customer service counter waiting for my package to be brought out, four different employees--in addition to the gentleman already helping me--stopped to ask if I had been assisted. That level of attentiveness is rare these days and definitely stood out to me. It was a quick visit, but the friendly and attentive staff made a great impression. Excellent customer service!

He then told me he could not assist because he had 40 projects to complete and several coworkers had called out. I understand that staffing shortages happen, but customers should still be able to receive basic assistance. I left disappointed that I was unable to get help with a simple copy request. Staples needs to do a better job of ensuring adequate staffing and customer service, especially during busy times.
