Was referred here by a friend to get my racket restrung. Glad I did because the owner was very…read morenice and made me feel welcome. He restrung my racket in about 30 minutes. Did not try to upsell me anything and recommended me strings for my arcsaber play. The place is a relatively small shop, but I got to know the owner. He said his shop has been here for a very long time. I actually drive by this place on my way to play badminton, but have never really seen it! His prices are incredibly reasonable, and I would surely come back to get a racket restrung. As far as shuttlecock or rackets for purchase, the selection is quite limited. The shuttlecocks were a bit pricey for the high quality ones, so I did not opt for them. He noted costs for shuttlecocks increased significantly due to tariffs. Anyhow, I am all for supporting small businesses, and he seems like an honest, genuine shop owner. Hope to see his shop succeed! Parking is available in front, shared with the rest of the plaza. Did not have any problems finding parking when I came.

As soon as I came in the gal in the front was very friendly. She went over all the rules with me and told me how people rotate on and off the courts. People that play here are also really nice. They are very strict about the shoes and will ask to see your shoes (so make sure you have volley ball shoes or badminton shoes.) Overall, a friendly place to play and the people running the front desk are super nice. I will be back to play if I am in the LA area again.

Drop in is $12 which is cheaper than the San Francisico area which is $20 and court rental $60 for an hour. I will say there is a small parking lot small and there is not many spaces. Maybe if it is full look for parking across the street. It was my first time there and there was one spot left, so I took it. The floor is pretty decent. It was a matted floor. In terms of playing games, from what the other players I asked how it works is: you have to put your bird on the little cones in the corner. If here are 2 of you, you have to put two birds there so people know there are 2 of you waiting. You are guarantee 2 games once you step on the court. After 2 games you have to get off. All this seem fair except that people at this club like to play with their friends so even when I had my birds on the cones and when they where done they all got off and people straight up would say "no" I don't want to play you. hmmmm... I guess that is a problem. I'm not sure management can do something about that. In Fremont area, and in the badminton community I think it happens very often which is very unwelcoming to newbies or even people who come in one or twos, who want to play. Unlike pickle ball. I get in people faces and ask them to play with me as if I'm a man asking a girl to dance at a club. And yes, guys walk away but someone eventually says yes, and I try to kick their ass because at this point I'm mad and fustrated. Since is it summer it is really hot, and I will say the temperature is the same outside as it is inside maybe hotter inside as everyone and their grandmother is in there running around. From the outside it looks massive, and inside there are a bunch of trophies and pictures on the walls, which was cool to look at while we waited. The online waiver was easy and didn't take long at all. We had two courts next to each other and it didn't feel cramped, even as beginners. I liked that it still felt like we had our own space. But... there are definitely some things that could be better. There's a weird smell when you first walk in. You kind of get used to it after a while, but it's noticeable. The price was also kind of crazy , $42 for six people for one hour feels steep for what you're getting. The building feels a little outdated overall, and the restroom was honestly not great. The brown soap coming out of the dispenser was not it. Also, the lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly and rushed us off right when our time was up, even though there were empty courts. For what they charge, a little better customer service would make a big difference. We still had fun playing, but between the smell, price, and service, I'd say it's a solid 3 stars.

They listened carefully to what I was looking for and helped me choose the right setup. Highly recommend this shop to anyone who cares about quality equipment and proper stringing.
