Awful service. I took in 3 dresses to get dry cleaned and one of them I asked, do they do any sewing? If they would hem it, he gave me this attitude. Yes, but it's gonna be too much. Been relying upon them for over 10 years. At least 2 times a month. Except covid. Always a smile. If I ever need special 1day service, they usually make it happen. After so many years, never a real major issue. Nothing is 100% perfect, but 98% for so many years can not be beat. Have had a few garments repaired, taken in, etc. Every time it was perfect. One time I left my Jabra phone earpiece in my shirt pocket. I thought it was lost. When I picked up my shirts, there it was. In a plastic bag, attached to my laundry. Still working perfectly. Awful service. Should be 0 stars!! Took in a mattress topper to be cleaned and they gave me someone else's. Returned it to them and asked for a refund. He said it was mine because the numbers matched the receipt. I should have watched them tag it prior to leaving it with them. It was a really nice mattress topper too. Lesson learned. DON'T use this cleaners! They change the price of your dry cleaning. Dropped off 3 white shirts, why would one of them cost over $5? Because even though you ask for them all to be laundered, they up charge and choose to dry clean one of them. Not only that, went to pick up the clothes, hand the man CASH and he asks if he can have a better looking bill and when I refused he wouldn't give me my change, really? NEVER use them! If anyone lives in Gilbert... don't EVER take your clothes/drapes to Star Cleaners on Power & Queen Creek! We got our white drapes cleaned, and we just went to hang them up and they are more filthy when we dropped them off. We called, and the staff was very rude, wouldn't give the phone to the manager, and wouldn't give us the owners name. They lady was literally laughing off our issue, saying the manager could not speak to us because she has no voice to speak today. So immature and unprofessional. This cleaners was one of the worst experiences that my wife has ever had as Cleaners go. She came home and told me how rude the attendant was and I decided to bring the shirts next time. I went in drop off two shirts. He charged me $2.95 for one and $4.95 for the other. When I question him he said they had to clean one differently. Wash, Press and heavy starch seems the same to me. Then I went to pay for the shirt and he won't take one of my $ DOLLAR BILLS. Buy the time I was done dealing with this guy, I have to say, I just wanted to punch him. Never going back. He was RUDE to me, I can only imagine how he was to my wife. read more

I dropped off 1 suit 5 shirts and 2 pairs pants letting them know I'd need to pick up the suit early the next morning. They said this would not be a problem and actually had EVERYTHING ready to go when I walked in. They even remembered who I was. If I could give this cleaners zero stars, I would. Unfortunately that is not possible. I have received, by far, the worst customer service from the owner of this business. I brought in a dress to have cleaned and somewhere during that process, the color from the bottom of the dress bled all the way to the top of the dress, essentially ruining it completely. When I went to the cleaners to discuss the situation and find out what they could do, I was informed that not only did they ruin my dress, but they ruined whatever other clothes they washed it with and were aware of what happened, prior to my husband paying for and picking up the clothes to bring home. Not only did NO ONE call me to tell me, but they also allowed my husband to pay and leave without so much as breathing a word about their accident. They then insisted that it is a material problem and insisted I contact the retailer and manufacturer, which I did, and both of whom denied responsibility considering the dress was physically at the cleaners when it occurred. I went back to the cleaners, receipt in hand, to discuss again and this time, the owner, Frank Yi, proceeded to raise his voice at me and place his hand up anytime I tried to speak. He refuses to accept responsibility for what happened, barely offered me back the money that I paid to have the dress ruined, and has stated he is not paying me back and doesn't care whether I come back there ever again or not. I cannot buy this dress again as it is no longer available and I'm now stuck. I begged the owner to make it right, that his employees confirmed that they paid for/replaced the other clothes that were ruined and that they were aware of the problem before they released it back to me, yet he is refusing to do anything to exemplify good customer service. I'm not even asking that they pay what the dress is worth ($118) because I've worn it more than once, but to at least allow me to find a replacement and he is refusing. Very poor, poor service. Very sad, sad owners. I will NEVER go to this place again. Who says that they don't care if they lose a customer?!? I've never heard that before in my life. read more
